GIRL!!!!! When a woman looks at a man the way u look at George....WOW!! I know im not the only one who noticed. I mean, DAMN...i got second-hand jealous
I love the raw video recording of George Jones sitting in a room, drinking bear and singing "Take Me". It's just him, his guitar, and his clear and warm vocals.. Man I badly wish he had done a solo acoustic album.
This was the song I had done for my wife at our wedding. She's been gone for 5years now, but every time I hear this this I think of the "new horizons" we shared together.
George Jones...great country musician...with a bus full of issues. Here are a few more for you: The Window Up Above; The Grand Tour; White Lightning; He Stopped Loving Her Today; If Drinking Don't Kill Me; Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes; Golden Ring(duet w. Tammy Wynette). That's just a sample of years of great music
The two gentlemen in the orange suits are Teddy and Doyle Wilburn. They had a syndicated 30 minute show from the early 60s to the early 70s. My Mom and Dad and I watched the show when I was a kid on Saturday afternoon. They sing really well too. They helped launch the career of Loretta Lynn.
Is George Jones such doing it? That's throwing down the northern brother. Walk through this world with my question markhow come brother it's so it down hard
The late great Daryl Singletary did a great cover of this that features George Jones.. Brit would love his voice, I think. I learned to play it, and I sing it often.. RIP to them both. Daryl went WAY too soon.
In 1959, George Jones performed on a TV/radio simulcast of “Town Hall Party”. You will definitely want to react to his performance of his hit Rock song, “White Lightning”.
I would really like to see you react to some Johnny Duncan songs. Such as, "Come a Little Bit Closer". And, "Sweet Country Woman" And "Couldn't Have Been Any Better" Classics
Your comment about how George Jones looking like Woody made me realize as I've been going through your reactions, you haven't done anything by the Riders in the Sky yet! They're the ones who wrote and sang "Woody's Roundup" for Toy Story 2, as well as other work for Pixar. They have some excellent songs covering quite a few of the old western hits in a fun way. Their version of "You've Got a Friend in Me" is my favorite interpretation, partly because it feels like they're singing it both to each other and the audience! I highly recommend the album that includes Woody's Roundup, for which they won a Grammy.
One of my favorite songs by George was covered by Aaron Neville, "The Grand Tour". Both versions are amazing but George might make you cry so be prepared. Aaron sang this song on the TV special celebrating George's 50th anniversary in the business.
Girl, if you want more great old Country. Johnny Bush-“Whiskey River”. And my personal fave, “There Stands The Glass”. That man had a wonderful and very strong voice. I’ve danced at least 100 miles to Bush and Jones. For sure.
There Stands The Glass would be especially good since there's a godawful new "country" song that samples it by one of those new goofy bands like Florida Georgia Line or some shit I don't know who did the new song but I've heard it on the radio lol. Sucks too because I get all excited thinking "oh man, what is it, old country day or something?!" And then I realize there is no God..
Hi Britt I must echo a comment by another person The song Take Me where George sings it totally unaccompanied and playing his guitar, it's from a video entitled A Poem is a Naked Person.
Once many years ago I was sitting at a traffic light and there was car next to me with a man driving with perfectly groomed white hair. When the light changed and the car pulled away, I noticed the tag said No Show. It was then I realized it was George Jones.
Love the story behind "He stopped lovin' her today". When the writers first showed him the lyrics his response was "That thing'll never sell. It's too damn sad." Years later after it became the monster hit of his career George said "Boy, was I wrong."
When you get a chance check out Morgan Wallen. He is the modern version of George Strait, prolific song writer and great lyricist/try teller like Strait. I'd recommend a couple new songs not yet hits 'Wine into Water' and 'Think about Me' or of course one of his many hits.
@@brittreacts Right? It must’ve been his ability to reach our emotions that Frank was responding to. They were both in the business of touching our hearts.
I've got hair by doing it throughout. Why you're not here. Sort of like standing by your man with tiny one, aunt Tammy, one aunt George I was married. You can tell that I was Samuel.
super example of his voice in his prime, and yes his vocal dips and articulation are so awesome, your smile says it all
GIRL!!!!! When a woman looks at a man the way u look at George....WOW!! I know im not the only one who noticed. I mean, DAMN...i got second-hand jealous
Lmao Britt your the only one who would talk about George's hair. You make my day thank you 💙

On the Wilburn Brothers show. George Jones, the only singer who could make a five syllable word out of Love.

One of my favorite George Jones song is "These Days (I Barely get By)". Love to hear what you think of it.
He's a storyteller
Now you know why George is my favorite
This is my favorite George Jones song. It was out when my late husband and I got married. It fit both of us perfectly. ❤
Is George Jones such doing it? That's throwing down the northern brother. Walk through this world with my question markhow come brother it's so it down hard
@@allendixon7700 I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Now every time I see Toy Story I'm going to think of George Jones! But that's ok, I've always been a fan of his. A true country legend. 🎸
This song is at the top of my list by George Jones.
it's great!
Great song by George.
Best damn voice that graced this earth, please delve deeper in to that man's recordings. 1955-1970 especially..
In 1959, George Jones performed on a TV/radio simulcast of “Town Hall Party”. You will definitely want to react to his performance of his hit Rock song, “White Lightning”.
I love that you actually appreciate him.
magic song
I like that you react to different kinds of music. Thanks 😊
Sooo great! I remember coming home from school and grandma would have either George Jones or Marty Robbins playing on the stereo. 😊
what a sweet memory!!
I would really like to see you react to some Johnny Duncan songs.
Such as, "Come a Little Bit Closer". And, "Sweet Country Woman"
And "Couldn't Have Been Any Better" Classics
2 of my all time favorites by George are "Choices" and "She loved a lot in her time"

Please do "THE GRAND TOUR" by George Jones of course. He was unique. You'll love it....I promise
You are very beautiful just like that simple song

Perfect a cappella harmonization: Voctave's *Disney Princess Medley.* Please!
Married 47 yrs. My husband sings this to me.
You should hear Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn doing Louisiana woman and Mississippi man
Window up above,
It is a common trick for singers to enunciate "Hai" instead of just "I"... Makes it all sound better when projecting your voice to a crowd....
Seems you caught The Possum👍😷
It was said that George Jones could make church a 5 syllable word!
From The Window Up Above is good too. Prolly the same chords. But it’s a good song for anyone who’s ever been cheated on.
There were real men. We women thought of these men as beautiful men with beautiful minds.
My Wedding Song!
Try window up above. You will enjoy
I will keep it in mind, thanks!
was our wedding song !
that is awesome!
Listen to the song our Bed of Roses by George that's a Real good Song
They actually made Woody from one of the members of Riders in the Sky

Somebody poisoned the waterhole
i didnt know george jones was a daily vlogger
you may like the Malpass brothers.
I’m craving for you to do this same journey of Merle, Waylon and Willie.
And don't forget Ray Price
May I please suggest the artist Mo Pitney singing " Borrowed Angel " or " Don't You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me " Thankyou
I always wondered why this wasn't a more popular wedding song, you know maybe being remastered or you know modernize.
Frank Sinatra called him the best male singer living. Back when they both, you know, were living.
that is crazy!
@@brittreacts

2nd best white, male singer in the USA to be exact. He is 1st for me regardless!😊
Try you some Percy Sledge
You like long shiny silver hair? Listen to Behind Closed Doors by Charlie Rich.
I've got hair by doing it throughout. Why you're not here. Sort of like standing by your man with tiny one, aunt Tammy, one aunt George I was married. You can tell that I was Samuel.
Tara Rossier
Conway twitty…..
Sinatra called him the greatest American voice..........
