I never use the "Capture" (profiling) feature, use only half the Inputs/Outputs, never needed the looper, I use the older firmware version (1.3.0 or something like that), but I do use "Scene Mode" that are Presets, but you can turn on/off/adjust parameters. I only need a few sounds to make something sound good; If I couldn't afford the Quad Cortex, I'd get this no problem.
Please check out the Flamma FX20. It's fairly new but I think you will be very surprised. It has 52 amp models, 14 modulation effects, 5 reverb effects and 5 delay effects. It also has 40 drum machine grooves. A comparison would be amazing.
Excellent!
I was hesitating between the Katana GO and the Positive Grid Spark GO.
The choice is done: let's go Boss!
The demos that I keep coming back to for products! Ordered the go for myself. Always enjoy a good surfy review and just having fun and working it out! Good stuff. Excited to practice and write with this thing! Dig the surf patches you have going as well.
I've bought the Pocket GT right after it's release and I really enjoy it.
From your experience so far...Ist the Katana Go worth to upgrade?
Feature wise it loos quite similar but if the sound is a real upgrade, I would consider hitting the buy button 😬
I still enjoy the extra controls on my Pocket GT. But after watching some other reviews of the Katana Go, I'm blown away by what Boss has packed into this little monster.
Already sold out on Amazon 😢

Hey could you pretty pleasseeee review the Walrus Audio Mako M1?? I love your videos on the D1, R1, and ACS1. I'd love to see a demo of that gorgeous looking pedal
Also it’s app is almost just like the Nux Pro and if only these had a looper, which in fact always makes Me think of the P1 or used p2 or now S1. I also gave away the Fender version to My Son and We both thought it was also awesome but no app that I remember. Haven’t tried the Flamma
Too loud... Talking is too low... But playing is too loud... Almost Every TH-cam guitarist does this. It is the most annoying thing.
It might be your speakers
@@60CycleHumcast As much as it pains me to say this... But it's true. Glen's (Spector Sound Studio) levels are always good.
No you have it all wrong. After a long day of work and everyone is sleeping..you grab the boss katana mk2 100 and crank it! 😊 my wife loves it.😳
Wow, that is a lot of fun, that amplug, but still, i have to many devices for which the software is no longer supported by the manufacturer even some Fender / squier amp’s, those guy’s just quit supporting their users and do not care , so for me no more devices that need external software …
For me the question is which is better, the Pocket Gt or this. I prefer the format of the Pocket Gt. What do you think?
Cheers from Portugal Portugal🤘🍺🇵🇹
Damn I got so called out with the balancing phone on lap while using free Fender tuner comment. Maybe I should check out Star Trek with captions
Hi, using it as an audio interface, does it capture voice over also thru the mic of the TRRS headset? For example you use it for live streaming/online lesson? The NUX MPP does this.
An absolutely *great*, bottom-to-top review! Full featured review for another full featured Boss product! Many thanks!
Can you play Spotify or itunes through this amp? The thing i like about the iRig is it plugs into my ipad and i can play popular songs at the same time in my headphones. I would love one i could just connect to my iphone.
And this is why i like your channel. It always looks like you're having a good time. I'm buying this sucker no doubt. As a new older player this would make me pick up the guitar more often than not. Thanks!
Alright, typically not my thing but this has so many features that all sound pretty freakin' great. I would actually get a ton of use out of this and not be paranoid that I'm annoying my neighbors. C'meer affiliate link!
Or you could just run headphones from your amp .
@@victorbennett5414 Already have a guitar tuner, metronome, recording software, and other apps on my phone.
Groooovy!
Thanks for the video, I have the pocket gt and like the controls on it but the one less cable is tempting, I was thinking about the waza air as no cables... Maybe Ill just get a better pair of headphones for now and then consider this later. I was wondering if Boss are going to update the Waza air but this seems a really logical move for them and the price point is good. Thanks for mentioning the pocket GT in your video.
Perhaps Boss' next move is a Katana Mini with this built in to compete with Spark and other portable modelling amps
Quite a few of the bass presets sound very similar to the presets on my old school Boss ME-8B, which is not in any way a knock.
Pretty amazing technical development of Boss, if you can hear the sound in stereo using headphones! I mean my Katana 50 mkII just cannot do it. It's phones out connection is as MONO as ****. 🤪
So all the other micro headphone amps need to either learn or just fold. Jesus. Line6 is waaaay behind
Hey. I just realized. You can plug the katana go into the anx jack on the katana 100 and use it that way. That's awesome 👍
Yes, have You found Yourself Ryan? Could You do a demo on the EH Switch to show what can be done with it in multiple situations?
I love the happy vibe from Ryan!
He’s a great TH-camr and lovely personality. So cheery

Is there a way to keep the screen active? I noticed it kept going into standby mode or something but I like to be able to glance down and see what I'm doing

Hey man, I just recently got into surf rock and am trying to find out what your bands name is?
I just put a like after watching the first 3 seconds. Rockdad here!
Many thanks only bass demo on web currently so very interesting for a four stringer such as myself
The "stage feel" is basically a really good natural sounding room reverb. imo
No it's not Because they're discontinued
@@Tony-rc2dq I know :-(
I crack up anytime I here someone pronounce it "pellow". Love you Ryan.
