Hey I was wondering if you could show or link the mod you had that added female battle brothers
Female battle brothers is part of the Battle Sisters submod.
It's already incorporated into Legends mod :) just have to remember to tick the settings at the start of a new playthrough to allow them to spawn in.

I've had my eye on this game for a while wanting to see what kind of fun it could provide. Glad I stuck through the entirety of the video. You made the idea of playing a merchant such a fun idea.
Snowman literally encountered the Children's Crusade, a *literal real-life story where the ending is all the kids are either came home, killed, or possibly sold to slavery*
A complete coincidence for sure haha.
Now that you mention it, I didn't ever hear of those youngsters returning home... We'll just not include that fact in our quarterlies when we go over our trading profits >.>

I had another comment saying the name was male but yeah, that's just a usual occurance with legends (the mismatch of female/male characters, stats, backgrounds, etc.)

Hey, realy nice Video was fun to watch! just a little tipp for you, at the time stemp of 47:42 the orcs you tryed to engage with the towns company, of the left side they show the flags who joins the fight, this means the towns guards actually had joined you on the fight :)
Yeah, I was aware the guards would have joined us on that fight, but I wasn't trying to join that fight.
I was trying to slow down the orcs so they'd "auto-battle" without me but the army was too slow to catch them haha!

You probably already know this, but you can destroy the eggs the spiders spawn with before they make too many and overwhelm you.
Thanks for the info :) but yes, you can get close to (or snipe) and destroy the eggs.
It will stop them from spawning further spiders, but the hard part is successfully reaching the eggs, as swarms of spiders will defend and the eggs are usually far away :(
Snow uploading a new video and as a hoarder he plays the Trader? Nice Video, only negativ is that you didn't name the Start Trader Snow xD And the real BB way of trading is raiding caravans and selling they're goods.

Recently learned how much of a Noob I really was in this game. Using Lone Wolf (doing no Bros until lvl 11), I’ve started using the starting funds and rapidly become allied to a couple small villages I was able to earn 13k in 20 days. Never even thought of doing this before lol
Lone Wolf is a fun one for sure but makes recruiting harder (imo the new bros die too quick haha)

yeah in vanilla trade goods could easily net you hundreds of crowns (thousands over the course of a longer run) if you paid a little attention and a few inventory slots, so extra 10-20% is pretty nice esp if you're being economical about combat.
I can see why it got nerfed, people minmaxing would totally find a way to stack 50% barter and just make ludicrous money, since barter applies to revenue, thus making the profit increase way higher than that number shows.
12:00 not everyone has half a day free and a cart to walk all the way over and haul dyes+paint back lol
I agree, trade goods are still great to casually top-off your profits throughout a playthrough. Without focusing on trade and barter% you'll still probably have most runs with up to 5% so it's a nice little help along the way.
Haha, I guess at 12:00 they didn't have enough drive for profits like we did (and tbh, with the dangers of the desert, can I really blame them that much :p )

It's an unforgiving and difficult game but one of the best turn-based RPG's imo. Basically a medieval XCOM.
The modding community adds a lot more to the base game and I couldn't live without it :)

just exclude your merchant from the fighting line :D thats a thing in legends. He just wont show up to the fight then.
It's a thing in vanilla too, but I want them to get xp to get those extra barter perks.
It's a lot slower to level up (unless you train in camp forever) without bringing everyone to the fights sadly.
Old barter such a overpowered thing get 10 peddlers and you will be paid I'm not joking 10k to 15k per deliver message mission you do back in the day.

@@TheIndomitableSnowman I, as a German guy, can at least tell you, that monsters like Wiedergänger, Nachtzehrer, Geist, Höllenhund, Hexe, Unhold, Rachegeist, Lindwurm, Weberknecht, Irrlicht, are German. Every time I hear you pronounce their names I cringe a bit though. :p

Mead, beer & wine included. Even dried fruits... But funnily enough, spices and incense are trade goods that never deteriorate :) (video game logic ofc, but such is the BB world haha)

The stars upon 'trying out' is integrated into legends.
However, there are a few different mods on nexus-mods that help show you how good recruits are :)

Yeah, upgrading from a small village all the way to a castle takes quite a long time with a lot of baby-sitting involved.
Would definitely be fun to see it rise to such power from our trade efforts :)

well....this is part of the problem of viability...yes, you can amass a huge sum of money and probably buy your way into some power...but when push comes to shove, trading will only get to so far.
With practice, I'm sure the conversion of funds to military power can be achieved in a more efficient way, but I'm just glad we did well and could show a different way to play and have fun with Legends :)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by event circle. Do you mean the black-vision radius circle? If so, that's a separate QoL mod from legends.

It used to be a part of "Legends", but now you need "Swifter" instead.
This must have taken a considerable effort to produce, but the end result is magnificent. I greatly hope to see more vids in this format on the channel.

My davkul rising series is the only playthrough that was edited.
Still glad you liked the video and more will be happening in the future (it's just a lot of work, so I'll keep working on optimising my workflow to get them out sooner haha)

The editing for this video is superb, I appreciate the effort to make all the visuals and jokes. The profits display really helps the visual folks. This is also the first legends video I've watched and the legends QOL changes you show are so good I already miss them on my vanilla bb run.

I'm not the biggest user of dogs, as they are usually a coin-dump and free-confidence for enemies (however played right, they can be useful. I just rarely use them sadly)
The city build-up is part of "World Economy" (not sure if I mentioned that specifically, but I think I eluded to it with the mentions of how "World Economy" worked)

Party management of BB does have a similarity and I can see how you found the connection.
I usually tell people that Battle Brothers is the medieval version of XCOM (but we definitely went "starsector-mode" with this run trying to earn profits haha)
I have 370 hours under my belt playing vanilla and I think base game is difficult enough lmao. And yet some people make mods to make it harder??? WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE???

The game can get even more insane with the other mods I've played on stream.

This game sure has some funky under-the-hood calculations for hit chance when enemies hit two 18% attacks in a row clear as a day. I know people enjoy claiming it's just "memory bias", but nah.
Haha, we all have our lucky rabbit's foot to help with the RNG and the tin-foil-hat to save us from the evil AI bias (but between you and me, the game surely has found a way to bypass my efforts!) :)
I wonder if peaceable bros using dagger mastery, fast adaptation and overwhelm would be the way to go. You’d at least get one attack per turn without the -20 penalty...or you’d get lucky and hit sooner. Fatigue might be an issue though, especially if you’re using puncture often.
I like the idea, but sadly puncture is super inaccurate (especially in legends) and you'd need a lot of fast-adaptation procs to hit with a peaceable bro.
I like the idea of fast adaptation so a peaceable bro would eventually be helpful in a fight.
I'd lean towards a full slinger build for peacable bros (+12 accuracy perk, ballistics, fast adaptation, safe in the backline and you don't use ammunition)

This was a fun watch. Inconsequential note, "epitome" is pronounced closer to "e-pit-o-me" than "epi-tome". Very common mispronunciation, and often a word that people dont recognize the spoken word and spelling are the same word at first :)

Really nice vid, im starting use this mod with MSU after watching u then im watch other vid, there im found u mention auto save mod swifter etc. Can i add that mod (espicaly swifter mod) and continue my run ( legend n msu mod only)or i need to restart. oh yeah btw ur tier list is really helpful really great guide if u can add oathtaker n anatomist what tier they gonna be thanks n sorry for my English
Yeah, you can add "swifter" and "more auto saves" in the middle of a run.

Random one, but do you have a tutorial on non-combat characters in Legends? I guess some are useful but not sure how to build, what backgrounds etc. Or how to build magic characters!
Sadly I only have the tier list fr combat bros (most of what I've got is focused on combat bros...)
We do use support characters (or some magic characters) in playthroughs and on streams from time to time, but I don't really have videos dedicated to it soz :(
Combat bros are most important, but support bros are still nice to have for sure!
curious about your input, do you find legends an essential mod in your gameplay at this point? Like, there's no point in going back to vanilla? Or do you play both? I noticed the amount of quality of life changes and more features really add a lot to the game, thinking of trying it out
I did a vanilla series when the newest DLC came out.
I survived going back, but the QoL, content and fun that legends (and other mods) bring to the game definitely makes it very hard to want to play vanilla.
TLDR, I have no drive to play vanilla when the mods make the game so much better :)
Ausome mechanics for trading in the game I love that some games have that much put into it
The modders have really worked hard over the years to fine-tune the additions to the base game and I must say it really up's the experience 2-fold :)
Spiders and greenskins are the most annoying things specifically on early game..i would like to see more battle brothers content.. is one of my favourite games keep the good work!

love this vid, i never play or heard of this game b4 but after i watch this vid i start to play the legend version and it s been a week or so, u should make more vid like this cuz the complete run is like 6 hour long just dont have the time to watch it all and since i just start playing I didnt even understand half of the stuff i watch in the full playthrough

It's not the most popular game but it's pretty good for challenging gameplay (and one of the best turn-based RPG's imo)
Specifically modded Battle Brothers has a lot of gameplay & content (and is more brutally fun haha)

99% of my YT and twitch is legends and modded playthroughs (and you need all the dlc to play legends)
However, my oathtaker playthrough on TH-cam, and one of my Anatomists playthroughs on twitch are vanilla. (my 2nd channel has all my twitch VODs)

I do believe I eluded to the upgrading effort/imrpovement of towns being part of the "World Economy" but I don't think I said it specifically.
But yes, the upgrading isn't in the base game and it's from Legends mod (specifically the integrated "World Economy" mod)

iirc there is a mod hat eliminates the rng in BB my favorite mod as it bets stats against stats and not Dice rolls based on stats... cant remember the name tho but you might want to look into that as i found it to make the game way more enjoyable
I've played with that mod before for fun. (The one that removes 5% and 95% caps to min and max rolls)
Definitely a different way to play but can be fun at times 🙂

Try and get it (and the dlc) on sale but be careful that BB (and it's mods) are unforgiving, difficult, but fun and rewarding
