- In this video, I start as a Beggar with no real stats in Battle Brothers, but with the ability to absorb enemy stats, to see if I could become a legendary overpowered warrior by the end game.

Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?
The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat. - เกม
always enjoyed this game not many games make you feel like a normal human in a fantasy setting

Amazing. Simo has everything for the game: a goal, a challenge, a loss of friend, a nice drip.
If the soaking of stats is limitless, he will come back to the kingdom that is hunting him and raze the cities by himself!
He's the beggar, but they're the ones begging for mercy.

I recommend to get axe master perk, because two handed axe, have circle attack that allow you to kill 8 enemy in one time, + axe are good destroying shields and armor.
Nice video as always!
Only thing that irked me was that you didn't camp while you where doing the caravan jobs!
It's a nice way to get dome extra medicine or salvage some gear while still moving, and it cost literally nothing!

This game was in my wishlist for at least a year or 2 and i was very skeptical because of the bad reviews by DD and Xcom players but after watching all these videos i decided to give it a go and have no regrets.
This game is a gem
@@mateushenriquecardoso5576 truly is.. played 2 hours to evaluate whether it was worthy of being refunded, and ended up buying all the DLC.
I could of got xcom2 and all of its dlc for like 20 bucks, and i decided to instead drop 40$ on this game...
totally worth it! sorry Xcom, maybe next winter sale!
I would love to see more stories with Matias the once beggar and now the Warrior (keeps the name of his friend as his nickname) it would be interesting if he can clean his name to the house that wants him killed or if he cant, destroy them in a war.

It's been a minute since I've seen Simo go full laughing bloodthirster lol.
I tried this challenge like 1 month ago in ironman, i lost like 15-20 games, but i finally did it i have the beggar at lvl 16 so overpowered that i dont need to use the rest of the party i got
Yeah the endgame is insane the end of this video isn't even close to how powerful the beggar can get
@@NotSimo the best enemy the beggar can kill in the mid game is the minstrel if i remember well, that one have mind over body, and for early the barbarians are really good, they have i think 3-4 really good skills

From the looks of it, the scaling beggar challenge is like one of those anime or manga protagonist where the mc starts off weak unit he/she discovers that they have the ability copy or steals there opponents ability and become a OP

If you can hold out on spending your stat lvl ups, you can maximize your stat gain. Taking perks is fine though.
Since you can only absorb stats from stronger opponents, using lvl ups early will make it harder to absorb stats. It might be tough at first but pays in the long run.
Side note: the banner with the dude holding his own head while it rains blood…easily the best banner in the game.

we need more of the beggar king of battle brothers
couple of tips.
Don`t increase your stats for the first 11lvl(or at all) you steal when enemy has lower stats that you, perk wise, go for rotation+pathfinder+reach, goal is to steal kills, not wound enemies. Until you can get lone-wolf + underdog + battleforge/nimble, avoid fighting alone. Due to design, it is impossible to trigger crisis with only one person, not cool. You can scale really fast, after you can solo fight, thugs and raiders.
Cool scenario for one-two playthroughs, gets quite boring when you can solo noble army.
Once I've gotten a solid grasp on the game, I'll definetly try out this mod
