I would probably think of the game as mix of different medieval age folklore from different european countries. And playing on "honestman". i like that term for playing Ironman without ironman turned on
I don't actually but I can just tell you here! All you need to do is go to the local files and put them in the data folder. For me it loks something like C:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/BattleBrothers. That's it!
im confused on the story, Young Anselm is different than Anselm in game? And if so why are we surprised to see Anselm and why do we call the Skull of Young Anselm dumb if its a revered object? whats going on lol
Think about it this way. You are a disgruntled “former” oathtaker which is why you find his skull dumb. The Anselm in game is actually just a random name, but pretend he was named in honor of the historical figure “young anselm”. Lastly, you’re surprised to see them because after you left they tracked you down and asked you to lead them and rebuild the oathtakers
In the Grey Knights campaign I have a pretty small modset. Faster movement, removable upgrades, a couple of effect updates to make things easier to see (e.g. indomitable with red eyes), and one update for polearms. In the second campaign I added the pause on enemy view and a recruiter mod.
i come back to this game consistently every few months, glad to see people are still making content for it! :-)
There’s nothing quite like it.
Same here! 1100 hours and counting. My favorite game of all time.

I can't believe i just find this channel now
Well it’s pretty new all things considered! But thanks for stopping by :)
I curse my friend for introducing me to this game as it has easily become my number 1 addiction.
I go through phases as there’s truly nothing like it! That said… The rageeeee
That is a great Friend. lol
Subbed for my favourite game and fresh playthrough
Hopefully I’ll remind you what it’s like to be new at a classic like this! 😂
May the omnisaia be with you
The omnisiah has abandoned us on a world with no technology. We are here to purge the heretics.
The fact the squire's name is anslem is very thematic.
Great series

Good content bro!
Do you have a video to show how to add those mods? (I hope you get some fun name suggestions - I have no idea what a fun one would be)

@@corrgaming8942 Thank you so much! I feel like such a noob (for a gamer who started with the NES haha)
Not a problem! Every game has different ways to mod so you can’t expect to know them all!
i think its called "low fantasy" right? As opposed to high fantasy (elves and magic and such)
I just looked at my Steam playtime for this, and I don't know how to feel...... 2,283 hrs.......
The setting term, I call : English low fantasy
I like it!

Hello, great vid, what mods do you use?
In the Grey Knights campaign I have a pretty small modset. Faster movement, removable upgrades, a couple of effect updates to make things easier to see (e.g. indomitable with red eyes), and one update for polearms. In the second campaign I added the pause on enemy view and a recruiter mod.
