We own a base model 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander and a 2022 Toyota Rav4 base model as well and the Mitsubishi is just so much better looking and comes with more standard features not to mention is also slightly bigger than the Rav4.
I placed an order yesterday. Was expecting to prefer the Kia Sportage but it just wasn’t the case. Outlanders seats are so much more comfortable and I found the interior styling was much more refined. Yes, the ride is a little rough on bumps but it honestly didn’t bother me that much.
we love the mitsubishi we have 2 mitsubishi strada in the philippines and now i got my outlander and lancer here in canada .. for me mitsubishi is the best..
You might want to check with Mitsubishi Australia or your local dealers, the rear heated seats are only available on a few selected vehicles from their first batch of launch cars.
Really good attempt by Mitsu trying to combine elements of Japanese spin on a Land Rover exterior, Mazda interior, Kia warranty and a bonus handy 3rd row. But that CVT mated with a non turbo really kills a lot of dads dreams that want to punt it after dropping off the kids and wifey at Westfield...
the average to sub-par ride is what kills this as an option to me followed in a close second to the underwhelming engine choices. This car was top of my list until these things became apparent, now it is off the list which is very unfortunate because I want to like it so much.
Warning. I purchased a new Outlander and after two weeks the radio ,hands free, maps and the info screen stopped working. I know this is a problem and can’t be fixed with firmware up date. A new screen is on order from Japan. With the shortage of parts I am still waiting after a few weeks. Mitsubishi Australia when I spoke to them said talk to your dealer about the time it will take to get here. They don’t know. A great car . I know of another one with this fault.
You can tell it’s a paid review because they never mention significant downsides to vehicles and that’s because if they did that, manufacturers will stock giving them vehicles to review
CVT is terrible, after driving one for 4 years it constantly fails to find a balance. The new one will be no different which is a shame cause otherwise the Outlander is exceptional.

Was it the colour grading?
Just wondering what's your pick of the line up. We're thinking the aspire for added headroom etc. Like to hear your thoughts.

I saw a base model version parked on the street recently, it’s a great design.

Same, purchased the exceed on saturday after comparing with the new sportage, the outlander was leagues ahead.
This car is very comfortable compared to Toyota Rav4, the fuel consumption is also very good

That’s very true. Just found out that my 2022 Exceed Tourer has the rear heated seat as received mine on the 1st of November launch date.

You don't know what you're talking about.
Drivetrain is a let down, pity because the rest of it has been lifted considerably.
missing that power
Nice ..shame Mitsubishi have pulled out of the U.K..☹️
Volkswagen tiguan allspace, that's my choice.
Yeah 👍 I'd take the Outlander
Not enough power in it
Feels like a Mitsubishi ad
Why, just because he praised it??
Lost me at no turbo
Too good n Too cheap for aus
Great design, disappointing engine.
