this guy is being honest. he tells you what you should expect (mainly tech) in a car. and his judgement on cars being shitty, or luxurious depends on everything. he likes the ford transit connect because it does what it is suppose to, and has basic tech for the purpose, like they included an aux jack in a "business truck". he rashed on the nissan pathfinder because there was only a radio. he also rashed on a aston martin for not being an expectable luxury car.
I actually test drove a v6 and a 2.5. While I loved the V6, the extra features werent enough to push me over to get it. I ended up buying the 2.5 and Im not in love with the pickup but overall I like the car a lot. I can stream audio from my phone while charging it so paying an extra 430 for XM isnt needed. Hopefully I will adjust to the pickup in the car, but if you want power the v6 for sure... it burned rubber on the highway from a complete stop
I bought a Mazda 6 SportsBreak early 2011 (Belgium). I had a Saab 9-3 and 9-5 Break before that. I must say that the Mazda 6 is by far the best car I have owned. It drives very smoothly and comfortably. It is well equipped and very good value for money. Remember, traffic is not about being the fastest. Just ask the victims. My wife is more into BMW and Audi, but she gladly admits that teh Mazda 6 is a "mighty fine drivin' machine".
I have a 2009 iSport. After watching the video I noticed the radio station number layout is odd, I always used steering wheel control which comes standard on lowest trim, which is nice. Very quiet at high speed 40-70 you can hardly hear any noise, rattle free. Dash and door is soft touch material, low trim cars from other companies are hard plastic He is right about "slippery revving", my dad don't like the car because of it, I just always rev it to 3k to 4k every time I accelerate
It’s a great car I don’t need heated seats or gps or any of that. As long as it gets me from point a to point b without breaking down then that’s all that matters to me. Going to buy mine in a couple days
@jambear100 probably because its the limited version which looks way more bad ass it has nicer rims body kit more aggresive sporty look to it. While the one shown in the video is just a lower end mazda 6.
He really seems biased entering this vid...of course you won't find advanced options in a base model car. A base Camry LE or Accord LX-P would be similarly equipped. For options, you'd go with the Grand Touring, XLE, or EX-L.
but in the almost $140,000 car, there where wind noises from the retractable roof, no bluetooth, a horrible navigation system, the gauges where white on bright aluminum, and the automatic transmission was laughable.
You get the keyless entry...you just don't get the “smart key” with push start ignition (keyless start). If you look carefully the dude has a flip key with four buttons which is a huge hint that the car comes with keyless entry. If this was the base model, then it might not come with keyless entry. Then why would this car have other high teach equipment such as the blind spot warning system and not the keyless entry...
...it just doesn't make sense. I think that this dude needs to do his homework before doing a car review. This guy seems to be bothered by that system. This car looks better on the outside and on the inside than any american car (gm, chrysler, or ford ever built).
@saboobuu If you knew anything about cars, then you'd be very well aware that comparing Mazda 6 or even putting it in the same sentence with any Bmw, Audi or Mercedes, is silly.
@tenny2391 a tech review?! are you kidding me?! what kind of a review is a "tech review". the only "tech" the car has is it's radio! cars are for driving, a "tech review" is pretty much irrelevant to the consumer...
i really dont like this car reviewer....... he picks on the stupidest things, and sounds negative about EVERYTHING, like the center console. is it just me, or is the center console in this car beautiful?
Ignore this lunatic, the Mazda 6 is a great driver's car.

"Goofy looking." That was so funny when he said that. He look like the guy from half-life.
Lol

I REALLY LIKE MY 2010 MAZDA 6, THE SPEED IS FINE AND I HAVE A V4 I WANTED A V6, BUT IT WASNT TO MUCH DIFFS... I THINK ITS A GREAT MED-SIZE CAR.
I have a 2009 iSport.

How is the car?
How’s it going?
My personal car I love it
Check out his review of the Mazda 5, or the Ford Fusion. He's positive when there's a reason to be.
I wish Brian would review the Rx-7, Supra, NSX, and R34 just for fun.
Um. This car is amazing if you get the best model. So stop trashing it's name, when it really is one of the best sedans on the road
is this a review or complain? i m so confused
I have 3.7 liter version V6 and its great with keyless entry and auto AC
I have a 2.2 diesel model with the same equipment level. We don't see the electric seats here in The UK.
That engine is great in a Mustang,
timing on the back.
it`s a car TECH review. For car reviews go elsewhere
Is Limited top of the line n is V6 standard on the highest trim.
Shame you don't get the MZR-CD engines over there.
@jambear100 probably because its the limited version which looks way more bad ass it has nicer rims body kit more aggresive sporty look to it.

Proper maintenance.?
@coolerdude44 this is a tech review of the mazda 6 not a review of how it drives....
I have a regular touring and it has Sat/BT on the stereo. I guess it's a regular touring because it doesn't have a sun roof.
You get keyless entry on all models
Ours haven't...most my friends parents haven't either, and if there is anything wrong, they fix it before you even realize it.

I changed the clock on my girl's 2012 Mazda 6

Why aren't the people at Mazda's PR or many others' smart enough to give CAR TECH a loaded example?!
I have a Mazda 6 ts td diessel
This car IS a Ford Fusion. They are all made in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Sucks for you guys, only our transmission ever needed to replaced, and they did it for free/
is this sxephil's dad ?
he should have said nissan altima too at 3:31
i have a 2010 mazda 6 and i LOVE IT!!! i think this guys did a shitty job reviewing this car.
The Mazda 6 Limited Sporthatch looks way better and drives better.
American car brands hardly ever equip their cars with keyless entry/start. Its the european and japanese brands that do it.
Did you ever think that those German's do it better and another reason they cost more?
Mars-Da
Only one time you can mistake and buy Mazda .
This Guy is hilarious lol
Why is so important those circles. I like the guy but he is a little nuts sometimes
The word is Mazda not MARZDAR.

@bg1379 Because they knoew CNet's review sucks either way?
Use a bicycle,do not need any keys.
everywhere else I've heard mazda does 0 to 60 mph in 6-7 seconds... his 9 seconds seems like a complete lie.
boy, you really don't like mazda, do you?
Yes American.
All your Complaints Reviewer, Maybe it's just you?...It is just You!
@tenny2391 a tech review?! are you kidding me?! what kind of a review is a "tech review". the only "tech" the car has is it's radio! cars are for driving, a "tech review" is pretty much irrelevant to the consumer...
Um no it doesn't
i wanna hear what he would say about a base model camry, what a shitty review.
I really don’t like how negative he is, it is so annoying
that car suck mazda lantis get to 100 in 8 sec with some small mods and the fan is better to use plus cd player
If there is no wagon, who cares? Thanks for nothing Mazda.
i really dont like this car reviewer....... he picks on the stupidest things, and sounds negative about EVERYTHING, like the center console. is it just me, or is the center console in this car beautiful?
Obnoxious reviewer
