- This video shows you the basic setup for capture and analysis of a fuel injector waveform. I am using a low current clamp, back probe with picoscope leads and a Hantek 1008c lab scope on ver 1.0.10 software. Please leave comments down below if you would like to add any information.

Good video. there should be more videos like this that go into more detail of how and where to back probe the connectors ,for voltage and amperage. What wires specifically to connect to. No one does is it.

Hi. Do You use attenuator for voltage measurements?
How is that scope? I don’t want it for the majority of testing that I do. But I’d love to have 8 channels for checking cam timing on a v6 engine but I’m not sure how well it works with 8 channels in the screen lol
do you have to setup the app your using t use the inductive probe you put over spark plug wire? i have the same hantek scope but when i try to check secondary using the inductive clamp its not working

How to calculate ignition angel from this waveform?
I currently have picoscope 2004a, 2 channel 10MHz scope I really like it, but at times I wish it had 4 or more channels. I'm thinking of getting hantek 1008c, because of low cost and 8 channel capability, that is a rear feature in case the scope is still usable with more than 4 channels. I Mostly work on (explore) my own 15 and 20 year old cars as a hobby.
Can you do a video with similar speed signal (injector or ignition), but with all 8 channels enabled (they might be unused, but turned on)? 1008c waveform detail is decreased by using more channels, in all videos I found about about 1008c only 1 or 2 channels are turned on, because turning on more channels would decrease signal detail. I can't find a video with "real world" waveform and all 8 channels tuned on. I'm interested in 1008c waveform detail and scope performance if all 8 channels are used.
Where do you get the english version of the software?
Every time I downloaded one, it's in chinese ..
