    Now that's the information what a real oscilloscope beginner needs! We are mechani's with basic electrical knowledge! A oscilloscope requires knowledge in electrical reading, and how to connect and Reed all those things! So from what I searched til now, you are the only one who really shows how a beginner should do it! So thank you sir...

    I appreciate your explanations and detail!
    Most youtubers never show where, exactly, they are connecting the probe leads.

    Hello TheGibby3340, I am a retired mechanical engineer, now seriously studying automotive electronics and oscilloscopes. You have gained one more follower from Brazil.

      Thank you Sir. I don’t think I can pass on much helpful information to a engineer but it might be good for a laugh on occasion 🤣🍻

    One of the nice things that this scope shows is the pintle bounce. Slower frame rate will show a slow decline . Pintle bounce is the rebound on the seat as it closes.

    Hi, thanks for another great video and clear explanation - all good👍👍👍.
    That looks like a pretty good and useful trace, I’m happy with that level of quality and definition from the Hantek tablet👍👍👍. Thanks for taking the time and effort to show it being used on your Suzuki, great to see a trace from a ‘real life’ application 👍👍👍. I look forward to your video showing injector current 👍👍👍.
    Unfortunately, due to my current health condition, lack of a garage/workshop and bad weather here, I have not had chance to try mine on my car. Hopefully, as we get some improvement with the weather I’ll get the opportunity to experiment on the car👍.
    Best wishes to you and your family, take care.👍👍👍

    Poderia fazer uma comparação entre o Hantek TO1000 e um Micsing, no uso automotivo?
    Sou mecânico no Brasil e gostaria de comprar esse hantek do vídeo.

    Hello thanks for your informative videos, im learning how to use an oscilloscope, where can i get the the manual for how to set up the oscilloscope like the one you firsf show at the begining of the video?

    • @TheGibby3340

      Workshop manuals for your car are usually available online in a downloadable PDF. Usually around $25 USD. Be aware not all manufacturers will provide detailed scope trace data like Suzuki.

      @@TheGibby3340 No, thank you for having such interesting content and taking us all along on your journey of discovery.
      If I could be so bold - a couple of thoughts for future programs should you wish.
      I would be really interested in seeing the graphing multimeter facility within the Hantek in a real life scenario.
      I read with interest the rear cover of the waveform book on Amazon( thanks for the recommendation ). He mentioned that a oscilloscope is only going to be used if its convenient, therefore portable, self contained, or already set up in workshop etc.
      This leaves a bit of a puzzle in practice. If snap on is unaffordable, and Pico is inconvenient? What are the options available.
      I see the Handtek showed a comparable capture as the Modis, even capturing the spindle drop, though in the comments you feel unable to recommend the Handtek due to software shortcomings?
      Perhaps an episode detailing what it is and is not capable of, any software app that may improve things, or even a portable, affordable alternative.
      Just some thoughts. Btw: you really are a natural teacher as you make things interesting and carry your audience along with you. Have a penguin 🐧 not many people get one of those. 🙏

      Thanks for the kind words. Your point is taken, I am rather conflicted about the Hantek TO1000 series tablet scope. I really believe it will be a very good tool in the near future as the software reaches maturity. I hope my penguin is from the Galapogos islands. Those little guys are comical 😂

    Is hantek TO1000 series oscilloscope good for automotive use?

    • @TheGibby3340
      @TheGibby3340  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s only fair for automotive use. Consider a used SnapOn Modis, 10 times the scope for roughly the same money 🍻

    • @TheGibby3340
      @TheGibby3340  ปีที่แล้ว

      Theoretically yes. In reality not really. The software on this scope is super glitchy. I am hopeful as the soft/firmware matures, these issues with be resolved. Thx for watching, 🍻

      Honestly I have no experience with the Micsig product line. However judging by the price differential I hope the Micsig is far better. I don’t like discouraging those like myself who have already committed to the TO1000’s, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Too early in the software development. Thx for watching 🍻
