Looking forward to the sea dweller video mate. You’re becoming addictive, great content and enthusiasm, hopefully you’ll keep doing this stuff and help us all through lockdown. Some people saying the new speed master has sharp edges on the watch head and bracelet. Love to get your take on this? . Stay safe mate , really lovely out put , thanks 😊
Thanks Marc, what a kind comment ~ thank you very much!! Yeah I’ll keep going, it’s keeping my addiction & watch habit ticking over while not searching online trying to buy more haha! Yeah it’s a beast and I’ve really enjoyed my time with it.... filming today/tomorrow ~ should be ready Wednesday/Thursday.
Yeah 42 mm I believe? , must admit the omega seamaster 42mm seems like the perfect size now after wearing it, Rolexes 40mm or 41mm seems a tad small , but maybe 🤔 that’s because I’ve been wearing the seamaster. Evan the date just is 41 mm now which again I love , the old 36 mm does seem a bit small on my wrist. I’m no expert mate just my humble opinion 😎
Tried this one on by accident earlier - it’s a cool looker on that rubber strap, the orange accents look fresh and are quite subtle. The legibility is spot on. You could consider this a do it all holiday watch, screw down the crown and you’re into the pool or sea with no trouble. The strap is Uber cool looking with the neat fold in design. For the price this piece is a bit of a no brainer. I went in looking at other pieces but this one just gave me the fizz. Lovely piece and cracking value for money. Something out of the ordinary.
I have the grey dial aqua terra with blue rubber strap. You’re review is spot on. Incredibly comfortable, awesome dial and strap, overall great dimensions and just a great all around watch that’s not as commonplace as the Diver 300 or Speedie.
I think the 41 is perfect if you’re not going to wear sleeves, so after playing “golf” or in the Summertime in general. I can understand why the globe master at 38/39 can feel perfect for you in a dress situation with a shirt or during the wintertime. I am looking to make that trade - a speed Master for this Aqua terra model with the same white dial.
You know I think this was your best video yet! The videography was top notch Andrew. I love this watch a lot, I do think because they have so many color variants ( as well as the 38mm size ones) that it's kinda hard to pick one. The green one is maybe my favorite. That's rubber strap though...real stunner. 🙌🏻 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Cheers mate, really appreciate that. It would be difficult to pick just one as they have so many variations but there is a watch for everyone in the AT range. I really want the 38mm two tone white dial. Thanks again Mike
@@watchandrew It fits and feels great. My wrist is 6.75" and it must be the sweet spot. Removed some links and it fit perfectly. Comfortable too. I brushed the bracelet myself because I didn't like the polished mid link. Looks great.
@@watchandrew I first went over it with a regular scotch bright pad. Although it was kind of hard to get between the end of the link right at the edge before it connects to the next link. I managed but I had to use a small metal nail file with some sand paper to get into the corner. Then I went over the entire bracelet with a 5000 grit spongy 3M car paint polishing sand paper. It looks great and a normal person would never know the difference. Even you and I would have too look very close to notice its not factory.
I had it with the blue dial, but this white one is beautiful 🤩, really lovely watch , omega are really good lately. Great 👍🏻 video mate. All the best 😎
@@watchandrew yeah the planet ocean is an excellent example of that , ceramic dial which shouldn’t age brilliant build quality fantastic movement, anti magnetic 🧲 etc . They knocking it out of the park lately. I bought my first Rolex in 1988 and it’s been Rolex or omega ever since . Be happy 😃 when the shops open again and we can all go and do a bit of window shopping lol 😂
Love this timepiece. Love the orange accent. The only disappointing item on it is the lume. Others do mention that the AR coating on the top can scratch. I have not done a side by side with the 38, but the 38 does not have the orange accent. I didn't find the 41 to be too big. Oh the decisions.
I'm my humble opinion Omega have better movements than Rolex and the build quality is on a par, just don't have the same kudos, yet!! For me the Planet ocean is my favourite but you can't go wrong with omega, whatever you choose...
I’m having a hard time deciding between this watch and the Nomos Ahoi, 40mm, white dial, blue-black textile strap. It also has the orange (small) second hand, and is also a dive/dress watch. I wish the orange on the Omega strap was not there. But one of these two will be my next purchase.
Update: I picked up this Omega last week. Fantastic piece. Superb dial and movement (+1sec/day). Only slight disappointment is the lume on the hands. They kind of just fade away while the indices stay bright much longer. Bruce Williams (channel) noticed this as well. But overall, great piece.
Great video and great shots. I know I'm a few years late here, but did you end up grabbing this up? I'm so close to pulling the trigger, but worried the orange would be a bit much. I do love a pop of orange, but like Explorer II orange. So maybe would be fine?!
Awesome watches. Too big for my taste at 41 but they do it in a 38 too I think. I wish they made the bracelets for these watches without the high polish centre links. I’d be getting one if they did. As it stands... I think it’s a Railmaster for me.
Hi! Great video mate. I am debating getting the Aqua Terra or the Globemaster for my first luxury everyday watch. Which would you go with if you had to choose? Thanks!
Great review as usual mate . That dial is really striking . One think that I really dont like about the watch is that strap. In my opinion it cheapens the look of the watch . But I feel that way about most rubber straps , so maybe it's just me. But do agree it would be an absolute strap monster . Think someone is turning into a bit of an Omega fan boy 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t mind a bit of Omega every now and then! And I’m then same, if it’s not on a Bracelet, it’s some how ‘not as good’..... cheers as always mate, appreciated 🙌
That exact watch was on my Chrono24 wish list for a long time. If it had been 38mm I would have bought it. Don't think you can get that configuration with rubber strap in 38mm?
Hi Andrew. I have recently purchased this omega aqua terra and it is a great watch . I have noticed that when I pull out the crown to adjust the time the second hand moves very slightly, is this a normal thing that happens on this kind of movement or is it something that I need not worry about. I only purchased the watch a month ago . I would really appreciate your advice or anybody who could help. Many thanks..ian
Hi Andrew. Had my omega aqua terra checked out yesterday. All is good and very happy now .thank-you for your input mate and keep doing your brilliant videos 👌👍
Got my eye on a couple of used versions of these Andrew. Do you think it's better on the Rubber or Bracelet? Also is it worth the premium over the Christopher Ward Sealander? Cheers 🍻
Definitely worth the Premium,, it’s an omega after all. The bracket has no micro adjustment but I’d still go for it over the rubber strap and buy a Zealande rubber strap afterwards for it
Bought the new small seconds version . Frigging fantastic... I always thought the aqua terra was a little bit dull but nothing could be further from the truth absolutely love it , simple but really interesting dial and the AR coating is off the scale looks as there’s no crystal most of the time. I was a little scared 41mm May wear too big , not at all wears just like my dj 41mm., think it is also an all round better watch than the dj .
@@watchandrew I can't wait. I am thinking about selling my 93 sub for a Globemaster. I just don't know if I should go with the blue or the white face one. Which bracelet did you get for it. When I called Omega they said it can't be put on a braclelt.
@@watchandrew I enjoy my Speedy Hesalite. My question is whether to change it for the new Sapphire sandwich. I think it is a wonderful upgrade. What do you think Andrew?
I would get the sapphire sandwich in a heart beat..... I do love mine.... it’s just the accuracy and WR that miff me a little bit. The other main reason is it’s the only one in my collection that I can think of selling at the minute the rest seem to be keepers!
Had this exact watch. Bought it while smashed off my tits on a beach in Lanzarote. Sold it for more than I paid for it about a year later. I just didn't wear it enough.

First time watching your channel. Enjoyable review. I subscribed to your channel and looking forward to purchasing the Aqua Terra.
Just seeing this Terry,,,, Awesome, thank you! The AT is special
Good filming on the opening scene’s really nice work

Own this watch as well. It's damn good. I have no complains at all. If one were to only have one watch, this is the one. This, or the Green Dial AT.

Love the colour combination with the bit of 🍊, I'd probably go for the smaller size 👍👍
yeah the 38mm are good, the two tone especially
Yes, the Speedmaster is common, ubiquitous. That one with the white dial, orange accent is a better looking piece .
My favorite part about this video, is that you sound exactly like me!!! Trying to trade my current watch for the at haha

great comment to be fair mate, the POs are amazing, had the 43.5 previous and would get the 38.5 this time
Tempted with the black dial version myself. Need to see one in the flesh though which is difficult with lockdown

@@watchandrew really!!?? I’m surprised by that. 40mm with 46 odd lug to lug I think. I thought it would wear really well. 🤔
The stats speak for themselves but the bracelet with no micro adjustment meant it felt like it was toppling over at times
