Man what a build! Having grown up with Hot Wheels everywhere - this amazing build nails it! Great Job! Makes me want to dig out the Hot Wheels collection.
That wind up key sold me!!! First thx for your service...(Im Vet Marine) I own a 1991 Geo Tracker soft top black/ bottom yellow /2 door 2 wheeler manual -(my first car) and watching this I don't feel so embarrassed by having one. I bought mine right off the show room lot brand new. It was attractive then, (got broken into several times - first accident was with a police car who ran into it after I had it for a week!) and still attractive now even with rust and faded rag top. I get several offers a year, but it has been over 25 years of history. Maybe I can get some one to pimp it out like this...I would love to have a wind up key for mine.
I saw this car 2 year ago at the AutoFair in Charlotte, it is an amazing piece of work, lots of heart and soul and man hours put into this. Would be amazing to see it as a future Hot Wheels car.

There's lot of names these machines go by, if this would have been a Suzuki with that small chassis, it would be called a Suzuki Sidekick. Also a Geo/Chevrolet Tracker, Asuna Sunrunner, there's so many names in rebrandings, but in the end, it's Suzuki who builds them. I'm really sad about Suzuki having left north America, they are still producing some kick ass little trucks
Certainly a few worlds apart from "Shorty," my quite-stock '89. Lol I saw it at Goodguys, Raleigh, NC, 2016, I think. To see it rolling under its own power, and to hear it... Unreal.
Glad to see they have you in a feature sir. I remember you having the car on display at Savannah, ga a few years ago and still have them on my fb. Fantastic build sir!
I hope Hotwheels team will make a Lamborghini Miura as a hotwheel because its the most legend lambo it became the most fastest car in the world 1973-1974 unlike Countach and others this car really hotwheels need to add because they quit some lambos being produce as a hotwheel like Diablo also they need to bring back again Buggati,Ferrari, and Koenisegg to wrecked matchbox again because they are adding some cool cars now that hotwheels team that should make earlier also keep making other versions of each fantasy that is ugly but add more features stop focusing too much to Entertainment cars keep adding more cars or make a new series called resurrecting dead hotwheels series something like that to bring back some old castings that shouldn't be not make again like Diablo and etc
You seriously think that hasn't been done before it's a classic iconic sports car of course it's been made into a Hot Wheels. They want the radical builds worth spending the money to make a new car from
I love it got to see it at the last Nope he show at Atlanta Dragway about three years ago and still looks just as good now as it did then Hope it becomes a hot wheel
Saw this in Cincinnati cavalcade of Kustoms and my first thought is that this is something that never sees the streets. Now Obviously it does & makes it even that more awesome!

Most of all tho i can appreciate his attitude, i think that is the cherry on the proverbial sundae with this car. You hear people say "Go Big Or Go Home" but rarely to you see someone back up that statement like this guy has. Love the car for sure and major props go out to it's builder, great job all around!
How short is the driveshaft on that thing? There must have been so many challenges to overcome to get it drivable.
The Geo tracker is already stock built like that, all he had to do was align the engine with the stock driveshaft.
The transmission probably connects directly to the differential like a Corvette
AbandonedArt Wait is that for real? I never thought that was actually possible, how does it work?
Chode drive shaft
