Imma single dad... my daughter came to me complaining about a frizzy patch. You saved my life dude... I'm a shaved head guy I didn't have the first clue as to what to do. This pointed us in the right direction. Thanks buddy.
I'm a woman with long hair and have been struggling with frizz for years. The summers are the worst because of humidity and the winters I seem to have the better hair days. Thank you for explaining the science behind all this, it makes so much sense now.
same here. I have wavy/curly and often notices a halo of frizz ..have to use heavier styling products to control (seal that moisture in ) .. Every time I go outside in rain or into humidity I will be thinking oh no all the hydrogen bonds are breaking ! Must be diligent about using emollient finishing products Thanks for this info.
Hair oils are a life saver for me. My hair is unmanageable after washing it. Hair oils and homemade glycerine-demi water-essential oil spray do trick for me to really tame the frizz.
Thank you! I've watched 6 videos of yours now. You make more sense than most. I'm the same hair type in everything as you except my density is medium. I finally realized last week I was using too heavy products and TOO MANY products on my hair. It's so much easier to blow dry my hair on low with my fingers then put an oil or milk on my hair than that "curly girl method". What a waste of money for me (the past 2 years).
I was always told it was a moisture problem, so I bought native moisturizing shampoo and their conditioner, and man... it might even be worse now. hair sucks
the problem is that i have wavy hair, but i hate it when it’s overly frizzy or bouncy, and i want it inbetween, like limp and going downward, but not frizzy
I do a lot of dancing, and hairs keep getting all over my face, which is really irritating. So, I started using the littleextrraa neatfix hair finishing stick. I’ve only been using it for a week, and I’m really happy with how it holds my hair without making it hard or oily. Plus, it’s super easy to apply. I’d say, forget hair gel-neatfix is the latest thing for girls!
Tbh i was on the verge of giving up bcs I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THOSE FLYAWAYS THINGS ARE! It gets more confusing when you are naturally curly or maybe im wrong with that too and i struggle with it all the time thank lord for this video
I am 26, had straight and healthy hair all my life. This past year I noticed my hair suddenly became frizzy, thinner and more curles than ever before (assuming due to the frizz). It looks exactly like your thumbnail picture for reference. I go into a steam room everyday for 20 minutes, I am wondering if this has a negative affect on my hair? Do you have any recommendations on how I can get my hair back to normal?
At 8:12 I was like WOW! My man looking like Uhtred son of Uthred from the last kingdom!! I love you man I can't thank you enough, you helped a lot to achieve my hair goals so please keep up your content ✨ 🙏
Hey Trav! Just wanted to say that you’re an inspiration to me for growing out my hair! You are awesome!!! And also I hope you’re a Harry Potter fan! 🤞🏼
Love this app , I feel men don't realise that someone on a TH-cam video recommendations might not be right for them even if they have some of the same traits, I didn't for the longest 👍 downloading this as we speak
Hey man, could you either recommend or make a video on the process of growing your hair out as a curly haired man? I can only find either “growing your hair out” videos by strait haired men, or “my routine for styling my already long curly hair” by curly haired men. I’m not finding any in between or awkward stage advice for curly haired men.
I don't even have frizz, for some reason I have alot of flyaways, especially in the front near my hairline. I'm thinking of buzzing my hair and restarting because I look unkempt
hey yall this is a shot in the dark BUT I swear trav made a video where he briefly talked about how using TOO MUCH conditioner could actually lead to frizz/dryness etc but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what video i'm talking about?? i would really appreciate it lol
Hi! My hair basically doesn't work if I don't wash it, I have curly hair and it can be very difficult to make it look good without wetting it or putting cream on it because if I don't do it my hair just explodes, does anyone have any advice to make it look good without washing it every time I go out?
im a swimmer in a chlorine pool in california so its super sunny. I wet my hair before wearing a cap and rinse right after. Is there anything else I can do because my hair still turns super blonde and thin and gross and I hate it
Hey....I just downloaded the app and yes there were some qeustions needed, but I still can't figure out my hair curl type. It's like half of my head has a 2B wave and the other half is 3B....how could will define you pls, thank you.
frizzy hair %90 not caused by hair dryer or anything you do, you just have natural frizzy hair genes and your hair gona be forever frizzy after you wash it cause thats how your hair is like they wont get straight once you heal it or treat it better or anything cause they are not even damaged or anything its just how your hair is... you can only do 3rd party outside applications to make it look not frizzy iron it, not use hair dryer, use oils etc BUT IT WILL NEVER GET HEALED AND BECOME A STRAIGHT HAIR EVEEERRRR !!!!! cause there is nothing to get healed its just how your hair is meant to be.
Everything he talked about is nothing now. I’ve been hearing all of that for many years and I do all of that and still have frizz. Some people just have that hair type.
I'm trying to use the Mannered Manes app and when I try to add my shampoo and conditioner into my Current Regimen section and save it, it says "Error, this data could not be read because it isn't in the correct format." I also tried adding my stuff by scanning the barcode and it's giving me the same message every time. Not sure if anyone has tips for me :/
@@TravWhiteStyle I start up the app, go through some steps of the tutorial, and then it crashes. If i skip the tutorial and go to a different page, it crashes too. Did you get waves from the curly girl method? Why do you think it is inferior? Do you have silky straight hair now?
A total goal with the app! Congratulations! Insane contribution, insane idea and insane development! You must be insane yourself! Keep growing

i am finding that i need to spray my hair everyday with leave in conditioner to un-frizz the mane. has any one tried a frizz serum?
What if you have 3 different hair colors and 2 types of hair textures? These apps in the past have not been helpful at all.

I have curly hair should i brush my hair after or before I shampoo and conditioner?
Me too

After shampo-conditioning your hair, apply some leave-in conditioner on damp hair and brush them out. Tangle treaser works best.
I use leave in conditioners but they don’t do anything

does frizzy hair mean that its damaged?
Not always. Usually dry/brittle means damage. Frizzy can just mean it needs some product.
