Usually if you notice the symptoms of baldness, it means you already have less than 30% of your hair left. So a preventive visit to a trichologist never hurt. Maybe you're already going bald, it'll just be a couple more years before it's noticeable to the naked eye.

My family has a history of balding with my dad and both grandparents having more of the balding hair, not complete baldness. My whole life I was told I would have baldness plus glasses at the minimum of 30 years old. Genetics does not always dictate these things as of 38 years of age I still have a strong hairline and good eye sight and hearing even though I stared at headlights as a child and still listen to very loud music. I shower less sure but every complements my hair like I clean it daily. I just bought shampoo without any of that sulfate stuff in it. I am only getting older from here. I love youtube videos for speaking out whether people are right or not. Trav you have some great hair. Hopefully I can get my hair looking better like in my earlier years. It looks alright now still. :P
bro you have no idea how much this helped me get over my concerns regarding my hair. This is the first time I am growing out my hair long in my entire life, and for most of my life I have had thick hair until now... so I was losing my shit when I started to see hair falling. THANK YOU!!!!
Ugh, first timer growing my hair out (I'm finally at the full bun stage at 35) and I'm not used to my hair changing with length having always had short hair. The wet hair scalp ordeal has really been getting at me lately so this definitely helps. I'm trying for it not to really mess with me.
Wow thank you so much. Honestly I’ve been watching videos, reading articles, asking people, talking to hair salons and barbers for years, and this simple 1 video answered every question I had lingering. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have no idea how hard it was to get this crucial, basic information. This video is a holy grail for men’s hair. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
@ranbir kapoor A little. I've always had fine hair and a large forehead so it's hard to tell. Also it seems a lot thinner if I haven't washed my hair in a few days
So many young people today view their first changes in hair density as an indication that they will be full on bald in no time. That is not always - and usually not ever the case. As an older guy - 57, who is fortunate enough to have a Keanu Reeves like head of hair - I've watched friends and coworkers hair change over decades. Some did indeed go right to bald. Many others, lost a small amount - maybe got some recession, but still have kept their hair for decades.
Thanks for making this video. Hair loss is a real issue for men, self confidence and esteem. This has put my mind at ease as a guy who has grown his hair in middle age. Who knows how long it will last, I love it and enjoying the here and now whilst it lasts. It's hard to ignore adverts from hair replacement companies out to make a quick buck. We are great whether we have long, short or no hair!
I didn't have LONG thick ones, but I had a good amount of regular lashes, they seem to have thinned out around the time I got these weird little "cyst" type things in my lower eye lid, they took like 2 months to go away, It was around the time I started putting in contacts, shit scared me lol. They grew back but pretty short and thin now.

Dude holy crap you literally just made my night! I’ve been stressed over this for years and I’m 18 lol and I’ve just been so afraid yet everything you said are the things that worried me 😅
I mostly started worrying because of all the stress build up and then worrying about this hair loss was even more stressful watching this reassured me that i was overthinking it and realized it was because of my widows peak
I started growing my hair recently and it's the longest I've ever had it. About down to my chin now and I was getting concerned because I noticed a lot more shedding, so thank you.
I have a double cowlick and I’m in the process of growing my hair out. When I noticed it I instantly panicked. I thought I was losing hair. None of my parents have hair loss or anybody in my family so I was confused. Now I know I’m good. I can’t say enough how much you eased my mind with everything in this video.
You did ease my mind bro, thank you. The biggest things I've been worrying about is the widow's peak thing, baby hairs around your hair line (mostly the ones at the temples), how it looks when my hair is wet, and the crown of your head, seeing the scalp. I knew it was all normal, but it's nice to here someone say it is in fact normal.
Same bro, I have those baby hairs on my hairline, I was very bad thinking I was going bald. And also those baby hairs are really anoying, I have grown my hair for a year and i cant make some styles because those baby hairs are there. Im just 18. I dont have hair loss, just the problem of the baby hairs and the hairline. But Im using dermaroller and reomero oil for those baby hair.
@@alejandrobriga1158 Yeah, that sucks dude. I have a feeling I'm gonna have the same problem then with my baby hairs on my hairline. Though as of right now I'm only like 5 or 6 months in to growing my hair out. I really with I started growing my hair when I was younger like 17 or 18. Hey if I may ask, what are those products you mentioned, and what do they do to the baby hair? I thought you just had to deal with them...
@Nimdutsu Honestly good. I'm thinking about cutting it to half, or a little shorter because i work inside a really hot mill. And I'll regrow it again ofc.
Thanks for making this video! I've recently been growing out my hair again after having it short for a while and watching this removed a lot of pointless stress
Dude I wish I found this video last year, because someone pointed out that it looked like I had a far back hairline (Turns out I just have a big ass forehead) But it freaked me out for months and I panicked from everything to the baby hair to the hair whorl on my crown. I pretty much figured they were normal after awhile, but thanks for this video to settle any lingering doubts.
@Urjjo Bandyopadhyay yea my dad is almost bald...my maternal grandfather is also bald But my maternal grandmother has a big forehead and my mom too My forehead is quite big and wide I guess it has gone further back a little and I am 18 now almost 19 I assumed it might be maturing not sure though
Thank you SO MUCH! I"m 37 y.o. now, and I allways had a big forehead (family trait) but in the last 2 years I noticed that my hairline moved back about half an inch and all my "middle age crisis" started to come to my head (no pun intended). Knowing that hairlines tend to naturally move as we age makes me way more confident that I'm not getting bald.
Hey bro!! Thank you so much! I just started growing my hair out and I'm in my awkward stage now.. I was worried about the same problems.. this just made me confident to grow it out longer!
Hey mate, this video really eased my mind from the anxiety of the thought of balding or receding. Although I have thin hair I wash it, brush it and keep it tidy I don't have huge clumps (1000 hairs) coming out. This really helped, thank you!
One thing that concerned me was thin hair, when I got to that part of the video I was hoping for a positive answer and when I did get my answer a big smile was on my face when he said it was normal and he showed his thin hair, wow its like I opened my third eye or something. 😃
I experienced hair loss due to post-covid, my thick hair became thin. This really freaked me out, but the doctor suggested taking vitamin D and biotin. Now the hair loss has reduced a lot, hopefully my hair thickness can return to normal.
@@vanillaflyweight Yup, my hair is back to how it used to be. The doctor said this is a natural thing to happen about 3 months after recovering from Covid or a very high fever. If you are very sure that your hair loss is due to Covid or fever, you just need to take vitamin D and your hair will be back to normal in a month. But if it is caused by other things, you should consult a doctor first.
Thank my stars for bringing this gem of a video to my timeline! Thanks so so much brother. This video means a lot and just lowered my anxiety levels to an all time low😭💛
I have been so concerned about my hair looking so thin when it’s wet, to the point I started trying to find medication to combat hair loss. I’ve been worrying about this for 1.5 years and haven’t gotten a solid answer... thank you so much
Really appreciate this video. I have actually been dealing with early stage of balding and think I've been able to stabalize it with low dose of finasteride and less stressing. But now it's very easy to freak out about these normal things and misinterpreted it as my treatment not working. Thank you for reminding me it's all good
When I was around 15 years old I got into the Heavy Metal scene and started to grow my hair out. Only two years later I noticed a bald spot on the back of my head (tonsure). It took only a few years and I got a massive receding hairline and the tonsure got bigger. I used so many different medications, shampoos and lotions. Nothing helped, it got worse every year. It was super hard for me to feel comfortable with that. I started to wear hats day and night. I lived up with that crap until 2019, when I was 24 years old. I had enough. I lost so much hair that I finally wanted to do something against it. So I flew to turkey last year and got a hair transplant, and this year I got the second one, just about an month ago. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Right now I'm still in the healing process from the second hair transplant but I cannot wait to finally grow out my hair again.

You answered all my questions, and I feel less concerned now, thanks man !

Thanks for clearing up some fear factors that so many of us men have
Ugh, first timer growing my hair out (I'm finally at the full bun stage at 35) and I'm not used to my hair changing with length having always had short hair. The wet hair scalp ordeal has really been getting at me lately so this definitely helps. I'm trying for it not to really mess with me.
bro you just calmed me i think i just have a widows peak 👑
Are thin hairs on temples a balding sign
Thanks dude I was getting concerned but you’ve put several concerns to rest.
Can't tell how much stress this video relieved.
The thumbnail is soo true Trav 😳😳😳
Wow thank you so much. Honestly I’ve been watching videos, reading articles, asking people, talking to hair salons and barbers for years, and this simple 1 video answered every question I had lingering. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have no idea how hard it was to get this crucial, basic information. This video is a holy grail for men’s hair. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Glad I could help!
I feel like my hairline has been receding since I was 12 yet I'm 26 and not yet bald. My hair has always been thin.
@ranbir kapoor A little. I've always had fine hair and a large forehead so it's hard to tell. Also it seems a lot thinner if I haven't washed my hair in a few days
@@brandonhaygood5286 Bro same
@@brandonhaygood5286 your forehead gets bigger as your head grows, so i wouldnt say its receding.
Same but mine started from 15
So many young people today view their first changes in hair density as an indication that they will be full on bald in no time.
Two hair comes out of head.
TH-cam: you lucky boy,you lucky lucky boy, you have no idead what's gonna happen.
Dude just killed every worry I had thank you

You are a legend for making this, seriously. This video is just what I needed
You are actually my cure to my anxiety, i thought i was receeding but i have a widowspeak hairline. I love you brother and i subscribed!!
You don't know how much this has helped me to calm down.
“You look like you’re wearing eyeliner” I get that a lot because of my thick, long and dark eye lashes.
My eyelashes are almost nonexistent. I'm jealous.
I've never been so thankful! Goodbye anxiety and hello confidence!
thank u .. u just cleared all my problems .. i m 17 and i started to lose hair unlike b4 for the past month and i realized it was just widows peak coming in.. ur past vids helped me stay calm and feel normal for the past month thank u soo much.. i used a dht blocker oil thingy and my hairfall just stopped in a week now so i feel really happy, thank u soo much for all the videos u posted that helped me stay calm during this month.
Same man
@manas_mehra_444 3 yrs later.. becuz I did what I said in that I managed to not loose my hair.. although I didn't do it consistently for the past 3 years.. I see a lotto differences
ma man your channel has been a huge stress relife
I was concerning more when I started my journey but now i just don’t care much and they are growing just fine
Have noticed so many of these things as I have grown my hair out and this video is such a relief. Thank you for helping men like me with our anxiety
Dude, thank you so much! The part about the vertex you explained was so helpful to me. Been overly concerned about that spot for a while, so it's great to know the truth behind it.
I've been concerned about the thinner hairs, and wet hair for so long now. Thank you so much for making this.
Does cowlick look like mature hairline
@@CAJfurhow is your now?
@Nimdutsu Honestly good. I'm thinking about cutting it to half, or a little shorter because i work inside a really hot mill. And I'll regrow it again ofc.
@@CAJfur thankyou for you reply for a 3 years back comment 🙌🏽
Thank you, man. This video is just what I needed haha. The world needs more dudes looking out for us anxious dudes!
7:20 that part literally saved me !!!!!Thank you soo much
dude I am so so so so greatful that I found this video I was freaking out for the past few weeks
Thanks for making this video! I've recently been growing out my hair again after having it short for a while and watching this removed a lot of pointless stress
the thin hairs at my temple have been stressing me for months, so hearing this is very reassuring. thank you.
Mines thin when its dry too. I can see my scalp easily.
Dude I wish I found this video last year, because someone pointed out that it looked like I had a far back hairline (Turns out I just have a big ass forehead)
But it freaked me out for months and I panicked from everything to the baby hair to the hair whorl on my crown. I pretty much figured they were normal after awhile, but thanks for this video to settle any lingering doubts.
Whoa same here... big ass forehead sucks though 😌
Shikamaru Nara could be worse, I usually grow my bangs out long and it hides it well enough
Big Brain Gang
I thought my hairline was receding too, but its just my big forehead.
@Urjjo Bandyopadhyay yea my dad is almost bald...my maternal grandfather is also bald
But my maternal grandmother has a big forehead and my mom too
My forehead is quite big and wide
I guess it has gone further back a little and I am 18 now almost 19
I assumed it might be maturing not sure though
we need more content creators like you dude, much love
Thank you SO MUCH! I"m 37 y.o. now, and I allways had a big forehead (family trait) but in the last 2 years I noticed that my hairline moved back about half an inch and all my "middle age crisis" started to come to my head (no pun intended).
Knowing that hairlines tend to naturally move as we age makes me way more confident that I'm not getting bald.
past 30 you are unlikely to go totally bald. You might some hair but you will never be horshoe type bald.
Was very paranoid about my widows peek. thank you for clearing that out of my head!
That was actually so reassuring ! Thanks man feel much better about my hair loss worries ! 👍
I have been stressing about almost all of those at 17 only and you're really helping me
Hey bro!! Thank you so much! I just started growing my hair out and I'm in my awkward stage now.. I was worried about the same problems.. this just made me confident to grow it out longer!
Ur literally the only one that makes me calm
Hey mate, this video really eased my mind from the anxiety of the thought of balding or receding. Although I have thin hair I wash it, brush it and keep it tidy I don't have huge clumps (1000 hairs) coming out.
This really helped, thank you!
thank you trav , appreciate this so much! helping me breathe a little easier after 3 months of stress.
One thing that concerned me was thin hair, when I got to that part of the video I was hoping for a positive answer and when I did get my answer a big smile was on my face when he said it was normal and he showed his thin hair, wow its like I opened my third eye or something. 😃
Dude thank you!!! I was freaking out for nothing!
Thank you for the content and clarity!
Me : "Wow what a bunch of useful informations I need to know."
Also me : Shaves my head everyday.

@@Jernofenz I do, cheaper than having hairs to maintain.
I really dont know how to show how much thankful i am..This video is a life saver❤️Thank you for uploading
I love the mannered manes group but there so many concerned people about their hair for all of these reasons. Great video and calmed me down too lol
Thank you TH-cam for recommending me this video ❤️ I really needed this 🙏
I experienced hair loss due to post-covid, my thick hair became thin. This really freaked me out, but the doctor suggested taking vitamin D and biotin. Now the hair loss has reduced a lot, hopefully my hair thickness can return to normal.
Did your hair return? I’m taking the same supplements. I partly think that working from home means less sunlight which means low vitamin D anyway
@@maximillianusforrest thanks for the reply, good to hear
Thank my stars for bringing this gem of a video to my timeline! Thanks so so much brother. This video means a lot and just lowered my anxiety levels to an all time low😭💛
Alleviated all my fears 🙏🏼
I’ve learned to not stress about it already and haven’t been, but still wanted to watch the vid anyway.
I have been so concerned about my hair looking so thin when it’s wet, to the point I started trying to find medication to combat hair loss. I’ve been worrying about this for 1.5 years and haven’t gotten a solid answer... thank you so much
Never thought I would actually relate to a video about hair loss in a certain area.
Really appreciate this video. I have actually been dealing with early stage of balding and think I've been able to stabalize it with low dose of finasteride and less stressing. But now it's very easy to freak out about these normal things and misinterpreted it as my treatment not working. Thank you for reminding me it's all good
Why there is no one talks about that... Thanks man, you're the best ❤
Hope you get the best results
Should've just shaved it.
How much did it cost
I fear I might get balb too because the whole top of my head has thin hair, while the sides and back have noticeably thick hair
@@thedudecalledalan9095 The first transplant was 1980€, the second one 1880€. The flight was extra and was about 250€.
@@AwesomeRainbowLP1 hope you like your new hair
And I hope they start developing new hair transplants that use stem cells, but that's a minimum of 10 years away
