It's like I never thought to cross VGM with jazz but I always can't wait for the next release by The Consouls (Bandai Namco sponsored them to cover the Luminaria Theme too and it was so good)
it's so much fun so far.
This is nothing new, Gundam FPS has been around for a long time, but in VR Arcade games which has annoyed me to no end cause you have to go to Japan to play them. No arcade here is willing to buy a cabinet or Bandai is not willing to sell those cabinets overseas
They had a play station exclusive one that was really clunky on purpose, increasing sensitivity was an upgrade you had to apply to suits to illustrate how clunky it was on purpose, but the smoothness of this si gonna be wild
So not only will we get the basic roster that the trailer mentioned, but we will get Exia and Marasai too!? Sign me up!

Bamco is trying to compensate the reputation by arise and Elden ring. Hope they have put the know how for these in new gundam games.

Haha exactly. Mech games have been weak in the last decade. Armored Core, Daemon X and Gundam have all underwhelmed.
Even if it flops its a sign Bandai is willing to give the west more Gundam. Thats why we accepted the new Breakers game (which is hot garbage) and in return got SD Gundam G Generations Crossrays.
Honestly, I think an EXVS game on PC would've been a more productive venture but that would require Tim Sweeney to chuck dosh at Bandai Namco Studios. "Overwatch but Gundam" will probably be the next best thing, honestly.

When I first saw the initial character list, I was wondering "Why would anyone use a regular GM?" But now that I saw apparently it can shoot from behind its shield, yeah, I can absolutely see people picking him up. Especially if they give it good skins (GM Custom PLEASE!)

Yes its a Gundam arena shooter with abilities so similar to Overwatch but with Gundam and supposedly free to play
The Methuss also plays like Ana and Mercy, which is fitting because Fa is the pilot and she’s a nurse
@@crustypaladin I wonder if the Methuss will have any support abilities? It would make sense because it's always built as a repair/resupply unit in Super Robot Wars and other such games.

@@Zerato that game was made by the B-Team at Bandai Namco. The og Team that made Gundam Breaker 1-3 are being mitigated elsewhere sadly 😔 .
@@BloopinDaThird look ds2 was made by a B team and isn't great compared to the rest but it's still the second game gb4 will be the DS2, RE6, FF anything past 6. It's not the best but it won't change the fact that it's the next official title

with enough variety, this could be really really good.
Unfortunately they've tried about a dozen Gundam games to the NA and they never do good. Not enough fans, hopefully this "overwatch" type of gameplay will give it what it needs to succeed even if the people in NA don't know, understand or care about specific Gundam background like us nerds do. "Go pale rider"

As cool as this looks, it's a real shame they missed out on an opportunity to give us an in-cockpit HUD.
That is fair but this game definitely seems to be more on the competitive side so getting a ui like that to work without being too cluttered or hard to read would be difficult to pull off

I hope they add the odd ones like BuCue and their upgraded forms. Though I don't think there is a large enough roster for them to include it. Maybe add mobile armor as a 3v1 game mode.
I’m glad they added Pale Rider, thats prolly the oddest one out of all of them. But will def prolly see some weird ones, usually gundam adds those guys late in.

So Overwatch but with Gundam skins? I mean, it looks good, mind you, it'll be a good alternative to the former Hero Shooter giant (that's until OW2 finally release) but in my opinion; the maps, movement and even the UI needs to change a bit to make it feel like we're piloting an giant robot and not controlling soldiers cosplaying as Mobile Suits.

And yes it has been a long tradition that one of its movesets is suicide plane.

As someone who loves Gundam but got into it late (Iron Blooded Orphans and then went back and watched the original, no others since there's so many) can someone tell me which one the last 2 are from? Also, which ones are worth watching? The original wasn't bad to me, and I loved iron blooded orphans
The last two are the Marasai from Zeta and Exia from 00

Anything with Gundam in the title is fucking awesome, as long as it doesn't say SD Gundam. Try watching Gundam Wing (most 90's kids first Gundam in America) Gundam 00, Gundam Seed, Gundam Unicorn, Age and Thunderbolt. But again, anything with Gundam in the title is usually pretty damn good! (SD Gundam is a weird kids show, avoid that stuff, it's awful)
