Thank you for sharing your sweater pattern and yarn reviews! It is lovely to have an experienced knitter share this information. Your videos make it feel like the sharing is over a cup of coffee and conversation with a friend. Really well done!
Terrific episode, very helpful how „real“ you were about your wool choices! Would love to hear about the summer tips, too! And it was fun to see how your quality and fit progressed over time. I see that with mine too. Some of my first were meh, my more recent makes are really starting to look pretty darn good😊.
Thanks for sharing your sweaters, Lisa and what you think of all of them and what you have learned along the way. So many beauties in there. Looking forward to your summer top video. x
Hi Lisa, that was fun, I always like to know how yarns hold up over time. It’s funny, I like a wide open sleeve when the weathers a bit confused as I put on wrist warmers, which solves the problem and then if I get too warm, I slide them off. Thanks for sharing, Karen
That’s a great idea! I’ve never gotten into making wrist warmers or even mittens- not sure why! They’re quick projects that use up leftovers- maybe next winter. ;)
Loved seeing the progression of your makes and what you learned about what you liked and didn't. Some beautiful sweaters!! Yes please- would love to hear about your summer tops and what gets worn the most. Also love hearing about which ones your daughters like- mine has started to raid my closet for the first time and I think it's funny what they like.
Yes please! I really enjoyed this one and would love to see the summer tops as well. It is so helpful to hear and see someone’s experience with a pattern and their yarn choice.
Thank you for rewiew of this sweather. It is different feeling when you see this peaces in movement. I have to say you are very beauthiful woman you look like model in this sweathers. Verry inspiring.
I knit the Weekender three years ago and wear it all the time and with a turtle neck or crew neck wool tee shirt underneath. I don’t mind my tee shirt peeking out on the sides at all. It’s a super comfortable and stylish boxy sweater. Your yarn is pilling so much because it’s 100% merino. This will happen with any low micron count fine wool. I call my pilly sweaters divas because they need so much attention but it’s worth it to not have them be itchy where they touch my neck.
Please and thank you! 😊 Also, I just wanted to mention that the Trescao jumper by Along Avec Anna is still free. The neckband, waistband and cuffs are with garter stitch now so there's a little difference. I've really enjoyed this video. It's really interesting to see how other knitters get on with patterns
@@Lisamakes Hey Lisa - I'm the same person who asked you recently about that "Denim" set of short circulars you have (the person who lives in California). I wanted to let you know I managed to order a set on Etsy and they are coming across the Atlantic as we speak. So glad - it's actually really hard to find circulars short enough for sleeves in a bigger needle sizes (e.g. US 10). Wanted to thank you for that rec!
Lisa: Winterfell sweater is really pretty; love the details on it. Is putting a zipper into a sweater difficult? Have you researched ways to put the zipper a sweater? Brightffeather is beautiful! I'm still working on color work skills. apparently, I stress myself out too much knitting color work and knit too tight with the floats. I ike Snowy Forest too. Im not a huge cable fan but these are large cables, so I would probably attempt this one.
Hey! It’s totally normal to have tight floats, don’t worry. Have you tried spreading out the stitches on the needle as you go? Sometimes that helps. I think I just used a TH-cam video to figure out how to add the zipper- if you sew, it’s not too bad!
Yes, please and thank you. :)

@mgy32 oh, amazing!! I’m so glad you were able to order them!
Yes please. 😊
Drops Lima seems to do better at a tighter gauge. Garments that I have knit at a 21st gauge pill way less than the one I knit at an 18st gauge.
That’s great to know, thank you! I’ll note that for future because It really is a nice and affordable yarn
Yes please :)
Yes please! :)
hat fun, yes please.
Yes please .. if you hadn't already 😊 filmed it..
How long did it take to film this one?
❤
Hello! It took about 2 hours to film this one, and more to edit. I will shoot the summer knitting video in the next week or two.

Use the slip stitch trick to tighten up the back neckline.
I’ll look that up!
@@Lisamakes I saw it on Roxanne Richardson’s channel
@@jill552 she is so great!
New here. Beautiful knits ❤🧶💫
Thank so much! Welcome!
Uhuh! Yes please
Why not frog the feather sweater up to the feather part (the burgundy) and select another color? It would be so pretty in blues and greens 🌸😀
It would! Honestly, I have frogged and reknit portions of that sweater so many times, I’m kind of done with it. Moving on!
