I have a protege sedan Or rather, for European aus NZ side of the world, a Mazda 323 sedan. Saloon? Same shape as this car. Have old carb model. (Which is a bonus) turbo is so easy with a carb. Anyway all iv done to it is add wheel spacers all 4 wheels. Have redone the intake system, is a 4spd auto actually lol. And it goes like a bitch all things considered. Car was originally 87hp I believe from manufacturer, the 1.6l model anyway. Easily hitting 125hp now with only simple mods. Only performance things I have done, was add an exhaust system, and intake system upgrades. I have not altered fuel delivery at all. Good thing about carburetors they have a bit of headroom for this stuff no silly oxygen sensors or any of that crap. These little 323 sedans have potential. Idk about anyone else but the body style is also quite nice that squarish 90s style body is dope imo... All these cars need is to be lowered on some dirty rims and she looks sweet as
@@jhonviel7381 lol not close at all . A drunk driver wrecked my p5 last year :( had to rebuilt it by myself because insurance wouldn't cover it . She's still stock 😂

I have a 93 Protege that is my work car. It's the Mazda Protege Lx in manual. They are definitely great little cars! I didn't even know that people soup them up like this hahaha! It makes me want to work on mine now.

Club 1 Fan Actually it was the 1.8, I traded it for a two-door Nissan 200sx with a 1.6 det engine
