Super footage, great view of the horse that you wouldn’t normally see, and as you panned out it’s easy to see the scale of it. It must have taken a lot of time and effort on behalf of the school master and his pupils to create this . Thank you for sharing another fantastic video 😊👍
The Uffington White Horse is maintained, called scouring, to survive. This involves removing encroaching turf and weeds from the surface, and replenishing the loose chalk, and redefining the outline, a process traditionally done every seven years. I did see a team of volunteers one visit doing this. Reading on Google I learned that a voluntary group used to maintain the Kilburn White Horse but the Forestry England took over and haven’t been as good apparently
Apparently, it is said that the Horse is visible from somewhere in North Lincolnshire. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I was born and raised in York, (now live in Norfolk) and the Horse could be seen from where i used to work which was on the highest point in the city. On clear days, one could see all over the Vale of York from the top of the building, The Pennines to the west, the Howardian hills to the East and our White Horse to the North. But to the South, it was as flat as a billiard table and in that direction could be seen three power stations dotted along the horizon, Drax, Ferry Bridge (now gone) and Eggborough. Really enjoyed this video. It was lovely to se the Horse close up. I have subscribed. Thank you. 😊
Fantastic video. Great footage and flying 👍 Beautiful captured 👌 ❤
Much appreciated, thank you 😊

Thank you, I still don't know how they did build it, the steepness of the hill is crazy!!
Plus they didn't have a drone to check the shape...😅😬
Nice - think the fog added a bit of atmosphere 👍
Yes I think so too...at least it cleared enough to see something 😅
Fascinating to see the details up close
I really wanted to see it up close...it was surprisingly shabby 😅

Thank you so much, delighted to have you on board.
I've had a fascination with the horse for years.
It was a real joy to see it close up.

I would love to fly my drone and see that
Do it! Was very interesting and in a beautiful area. With a nice sunset or sunrise it would be spectacular ✨️
