- A 4K remastered version of the Fullmetal Alchemist OVA Special where the State Alchemists do battle with the Homunculi. The source wasn't the greatest, but I tried to do my best in enhancing the footage. Original footage is from the Interactive OVA special episode in the FMA DVD.

FMA fans in 2003 never read the actual Manga so they thought FMA was canon until FMA:B came out and actual weebs pointed out 2003s FMA was the non-canon one.

You can prefer Brotherhood/the Manga, but they are not more canon than 03.

@@twilight_lupinesilva4691 If you throw fire at water, it will turn off the fire, not vaporize the water. You'd need a container for the water as to not to touch the fire in order to vaporize it.

It's weird watching Envy effortlessly manhandle Greed. I forgot in 2003 Envy is probably the most formidable Homunculi whereas in Brotherhood he is mid-tier.

@@DkkoOIn fact it was not a draw, Greed attacked but he couldn't even touch Envy, even Envy could tell that he was having fun and didn't want to fight, Greed defines Envy as a monster or the strongest.

If you pause at around 9:03, you'll see that while everyone else is freaking out or startled, Archer is just disappointed.
I still can’t believe Funimation was allowed to dub this into English when you consider this was a interactive attraction short at Universal Studios Japan. Thanks to Brotherhood, the attraction didn’t last very long…

8:57 is perhaps the clearest view of the transmutation circle the insert character is supposed to use. And that annoys me, there is hardly any fanart of it from what I can find. why haven't people made a bigger fuss about this OVA. The show ended years ago 🙃

It’s a bonus video that came with the DVD for the 2003 version of FMA. It’s non-canon and is just a little self-insert story for people who bought the dvd set.
