I honestly did feel for Alicent in this moment. She got to know how sex is suppose to be with a person. She learned the desires a person can have in sex and Cole gave that to her no matter how twisted it is. And back in those days, it was beyond rare to experience for a woman unless it was a man and woman who loved each other and wanted to explore more than just go to pound town to get the woman pregnant and have a child or heir to continue the line, etc. That is one thing I am glad that she got to experience in her life. Her life became more than duty and sacrifice even if it was for a short time. Thanks for uploading.

She saved his life, he became the closest thing Aegon and Aemond had to a father figure and they were the closest thing Criston had to a family. The thing is though also they kept looking at one another when the other one back is turned, they both clearly still have feeling for one another but they also cant even show it in front of others because its forbidden.

Her outburst at Driftmark was a nervous breakdown after years and years of witnessing Rhaenyra being able to do whatever she wants in the face of everyone and never suffer any consequence, going as far as Lucerys not suffering any sort of punishment for maiming her son. Even her "mean" behavior towards Rhaenyra in the second half of season 1 was understandable since it was brought about by Alicent feeling completely and utterly betrayed by Rhaenyra lying to her face while swearing on her mother's grave, and having Alicent's father banished from court by her lies.

They said in an interview that they try to build a world around their characters that the show doesn’t show. They aren't allowed to change the words in the script, but they can make "the how" they deliver the lines or exchange glances shows the tenderness and love between them, they talk about the disappointment with the final cut of the escenes together. The showrunners make Alicent and Cole bear the blame for almost all major evil events, giving them no room for redemption, only small moments. They present them as "normal humans" (unlike Joffrey or Ramsay, who are over-the-top and fun), but then give Cole and Alicent nothing to redeem themselves. Even Cersei was allowed to have love for her kids. and dont let Alicent even show care for Cole like only "sex" is was Ryan want to show, why?😑.

Aemond was vague as to _when exactly_ he is going to ride in with Vaghar to help. It's all too uncertain. Too risky. By all accounts, this feels like a suicide mission: you're marching to your own death.
