As a knight of a hold-fast, Gregor could have killed Ser Loras -- then? In response to any accusation of murder, he has the right to demand Trial by Combat, which cannot be denied. It's why Knighthood is often sought out by Small-folk whom cannot afford arms-and-armor. Otherwise, if they're accused of a crime -- a Lord can often have them executed without so much as a trial or right to defend themselves against a dozen guards.
To any who has watched LoTR: The Fellowship of the Ring, the sound of the horse as its head was chopped off was very similar, if not completely the same as the cave troll's pained cries in the Mines of Moria scene.
Deep Night It's Gregor Clegane. A man who cracked open an infant boy's head against a wall, before raping the helpless mother and killing her as well. He has no pity, and his lust for violence is legendary. He doesn't view humans as living things that deserve compassion. If he's angry, he's angry, and the only way he can solve that anger is by killing something, whether it's man or beast.
Love the difference between the Clegane brothers when Robert tells them to stop. Sandor takes the knee, showing his seriousness of being a knight. While his brother, acting like a child, storms off to through his tantrum somewhere else. I would have loved to see more interaction between them in the series!
stop this madness in the name of your king........ then the hound no look kneels while simultaneously dodging the mountains sword......... Hound boss level over 9000
+Gist432 He has really good instincts too, even Tyrion notices this as he positions himself against the sun when fighting Oberyn, But yeah its his strength and height (he's supposed to be around 8 feet tall) as well as the fear factor which makes him so good primarily.
ResolvedTwo Don't get me wrong, I would never underestimate such an opponent (I am also large and strong, but have no real fighting skill).. little does it matter though as there are few who even challenge me. The ones who do are intoxicated somehow, and they make easy prey. Would I ever meet a skilled (and sober) fighter though, I would get put down easily. Then again, I would never have a problem with such a character in the first place... damn, I digress.
What? No, he's not TWELVE feet tall, Jeezus, that would make an inhumane giant, it says he's closer to 8 feet than to 7, so basically a bit taller than 7'6", which is already fucking huge
Robert MacPhee not dying. The only GoT actor that died prematurely is the actor of Ilyn Payne (the executioner). I cant remember the exact reason why they replaced the Mountain’s actor, but it was not something dramatic. Its a shame really, I feel that the actor in this vid (the first actor, this is season 1) was the perfect match. He makes the Mountain look like merciless, raging brute.
omegastar19 Wilko Johnson (actor who plays ilyn payne) is still alive, but he was at one point diagnosed with terminal cancer so he stopped appearing in the show...but he's getting surprisingly better and might reappear
Someone tell me again why they changed the Mountain's actor twice. This guy is what I see when I think of The Mountain. The new Mountain looks to "friendly".
Unfortunately Conan Stevens (this actor) had scheduling conflicts following Season 1 to play in "The Hobbit" and Ian Whyte, (who appeared in Season 2) was already on the show cast as the White Walker so he filled the gap between bringing on Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (don't ask me how to pronounce that) for the Third Season. It really is too bad that Stevens left as I think he captured the character the best but the new guy is similar in appearance, just looked like he decided to shave haha
When Sandor and Gregor clash even Joffrey knows that's the real deal, not some Knight of Flowers. Still, 3:03 is my favourite moment. You can see who the real knight is and who's the thug, even though Sandor was never knighted and Gregor was.
Luudh uruk Rhaegar Targaryan crowned Lyanna Stark as Queen of Beauty when he won the tournanent of Harrenhal, that led the rebellion that put Robert Baratheon on the throne
I LOVE how Robert is not disturbed by gregor beheading his horse, but the inconsequential duel of gregor and sandor as it reminds him of his rebellion. He is stunned by it right before he orders them to stop
What! He didn't bow to save his life. Sendor cleagane is one of the few people that has actually the ability to beat the shit out of Greagor Cleagane. He instantly obey the order because he's supposed to. Joffery calls him a dog even when he wasn't the king and still he did everything Joffery asked.
@@playbox3397 yes he's loyal to the lannisters but he had to be loyal to the king still due to the queen is married to Robert. So family of lannister and barathon are together he would have to obey still.
the best Mountain actor they've had. The newest one is good but looks way younger than he i suppose too. He's great as the Mountain resurrected though.
Original Mountain had the look and demeanor, new Mountain has the size. Well, I guess the new Mountain has the look as well now, but the original actor is still the closest in appearance to what I imagined.
+Mark Reilly The first recast, you'd find him conversing with Tywin in Harrenhall. The scenes include Arya as Tywin's cupbearer. That dude looked like an idiot for the role.
Petyr: A hundred gold dragons on the mountain! Renly: I'll take that bet. Petyr: Now what will i buy with a hundred gold dragons? A dozen barrels of Dornish wine, or a girl from the pleasure house of Lys? Renly: You can even buy a friend... OWNED!
@@Jordan-vr7ip This is the most understated comment in the episode, since Little Finger isn't just alluding to the fact that he knows of Renly's homosexual affairs but also that the Mountain has a hard time adjusting to losses. (We've all heard the stories of the babies. It's as the saying goes: At first you don't succeed.)
112steinway It's funny. Seconds before reading your post I also read two other commentors reply to other GOT posts I made on TH-cam filled with spoilers on season four. thank you, for your courtesy
Those two King's Guard knights would've backed off automatically if Robert didn't say anything. The only one who'd impede Gregor's path is Ser Barristan.
hollywoodwerewolf Going by the books, not likely. The only one that might have backed off would have been Boros Blount. There were two vs 1 and Gregor did not have his great sword.
As I understand it - The Hound was sent to fetch the kid. If he hadn't run - he wouldn't have been ridden down. The kid was stupid. If you can't get where the horse can't go - trying to run from a man on a horse is just stupid. The Hound didn't have patience with stupidity, especially when it cost him extra effort. He sure wasn't going to get off his horse and chase the little shit around. Also - he might not have killed the kid by riding him down - but he did. Arya was all upset about the unfairness of it all but unfairness was something The Hound was used to. .
Years before this, at a Tourney at Harrenhall, Rhaegar Targaryen (pretty boy like Ser Loras) gave a winter rose (like the white rose here) to Lyana Stark (like Sansa here). Basically, it was the catalyst for Roberts Rebellion, which claimed Ned's dad (killed by the King for 'treason') and older brother Brandon (who tried saving his dad), and Lyana got kidnapped/left. ... and what happened in this series? Ned killed (by the King for 'treason'), Robb killed (trying to save his dad), Arya gets kidnapped. [Quite vague connection, but history looks to be repeating slightly].
I don't think Oberyn ever intended to kill Gregor at the trial. The Red Viper chose the manticore venom for how painful it is and how it eats away at the body inside and his strikes against the Mountain were made with surgical precision. He wanted him to linger and suffer.
I love how Sandor just suddenly bows as the sword is coming towards his head. Baelish piss off. Lol look at Ned, he's like get your damn disgusting hand off my daughter,
+Bradley S I've been hoping they do a follow up series showcasing the Targaerian reign and up to Roberts Rebellion. I'd love to see the mad king and Rheagar in the flesh. Plus it just sounds like a great story.
Omar Kayham In books, gregor is 8 feet tall, which is 2.4 metres. And a fucking monster who wears full plate mail OVER his chain mail, and using a 2 handed great sword with one hand.
overdose85 I think Gregor was based off a real person. He led a band of pirates who used to be peasants. The guy would raid villages which belonged to people he hated, fighting with a 9-foot sword. He also managed to defeat an entire royal fleet, beheading multiple people in one swing.
Yep, the hardened Sansa now is cool, early Sansa was such a prissy damsel in distress that she ranks lower than Rickon, who I didn't even know existed at the time!
I know im late. But sansa only really changed season 6. And the chang was hella fast. Like the next episode she turned badass. Same for arya quite stupid tbh. I would call out bran on it aswell. But he actually did become someone else.
Fun fact: in real world tournaments the horse of the rider could often be a part of the wager, so sometimes the loser of the joust would deliberately lame the horse out of spite before handing it over to the winner. Killing the horse however could result in endettenment, time in the jail, time in the stockades, loss of holdings (if they had any), or worst of all having their knighthood revoked (more common a possibility in absolute monarchies where an attending king could do it on the spot if they we're offended enough.)
Wouldnt House Tyrell demand of House Lannister to give him up, for killing the Tyrell heir? Why would Tywin potentially face war with another major House just to protect one of his banner-man needlessly killing a highborn. The mountain was lucky he didnt kill Ser Loras.
Loras wasn't an heir. I know, the series don't tell us much about Tyrells family, but still. loras was the youngest brother, there were Garlan and Willas, heir to HighGarden. After defeating Stannis at Backwater bay, the crown gave most of the Florents lands to Garlan, making him the second most powerful lord in the Reach. That did anger Tarlys, Randyll's wife was the Florent and they deserved those lands. As of giving Gregor Clegane to Reach or rather dorne after Oberyn destroyed his body Tywin wasn't very fond of this plan, because Clegane was very special beast, worth really much, even tricking Martell prince.
@@piotrpokora1578 In the show, Loras was the heir. The books politics don't matter in the show since the circumstances are so different. That's also why Tywin forced the Tyrell's hand into marrying Loras ans Cersei: either that or he named Loras in the King's Guard, effectively killing the Tyrell's main bloodline. It's all nice and dandy to try show off your book smart but as a matter of fact, here you missed the mark.

KalvinEllis No I won't, I'm dead sure on it. Conan Stevens was the perfect Mountain. His acting and body language was just too good. Bjornson just doesn't have the face for evil (he probably doesn't have the acting skills either, since he's not really a professional actor) I know what happens next.
Dingly Dangly Doodles Ah yes, becuase fans have never complained about castings of "professional actors" before. Gregor needs to look vicious and intimidating. I think this guy will do good.
+Henny Lenry I agree the last one is probably even bigger and doesn't act badly but his face is kind of the face of the big fellow who would fight for the good guys. This one had a face you instantly hate the second you see it.
Hmm... is it only me, or the Hound would be already dead? After the king's reaction, Mountain is missing Hound's head for centimeteres, and he is doing it ONLY because he was ordered to not ripp his head off. LOL, it was rude. :D
i bet if the king didnt stop it then hound would have won. he is a much wiser knight and doesnt have anger issues which is quite a bad thing. the scar he gave his brother was back when he was a defenceless kid.
It would be an epic fight, though I think Sandor would kill him. Barristan Selmy and Jaime (back when he had two hands) could also take the Mountain on single combat.
Referring to the great tourney where Rhaegar Targaryen, son of the Mad King, Aerys II Targaryen, rode PAST his OWN WIFE, Elia Martell, and presented Ned's sister Lyanna Stark with a wreath of flowers.
if you think about it (really think about it), littlefinger tried to get sansa out of king's landing in season 3 and it was for loras tyrell that she rejected littlefinger. Littlefinger planed with olenna tyrell the murder of joffrey only to have sansa at his disposal. So what if Sansa had left in season 3? No marriage between she and Tyrion, no plot against Tyrion at least he wouldn't be charged for murder, Tywin wouldn't have been killed, Overyn wouldn't have battle against the mountain. So i'm not sure what would of happen lol but it is truth that the Tyrell plot of wedding being revealed to the Lannister was a point of break in their relationship something that would have been avoided if sansa simply left with littlefinger.
I hate how slow hollywood always makes greatswords look.. if you swing it correctly a Greatsword is almost as fast as a long sword (Single swing obviously) But actors always swing it around like its a giant hammer.
Garvielok Yes, you don't need. But you need a lot of training to aim right where are you swinging it and to defent correctly too. Even without sharpened edges, a piece of metal of this size being used by two giant man can do a pretty big damage if some shit goes wrong. I think the directors wanted to avoid possible accidents.

As if we weren't about to let him go.
You heard the King,...
Barriston selmy Jamie lannister
Lol, Barristan Selmy would be transforming him in sashimis, and Robert knew it
Or what? They would have slaughtered the mountain.
''The knights of the flowers''?! That must be the gayest knight ever.
It's funny cause the character is actually gay
Adriana Peixoto
Lol. Stereotypes work sometimes.
+Adriana Peixoto true.
Tell that to the Knights of the Black Rose.
we never knew who was the active and the pasive... For me Loras seems to be the pasive.
Only Robert could get the fucking Clegane Brothers to not kill each other.
2:16 the thought of being this dudes squire gives me chills.
We learn a bit more about his squire in the books, he's an evil psychopath like his master
My favorite part is the last "Let him go". Like those shiny armored bastards could stop him :D
+Okan Güven your profile pic matches your comment perfectly.
No, he just didn't want his guards dying pointlessly.
+Okan Güven That was not the end of that dialogue... next were the words "he would demand trial by combat anyway"... telling
well they are more than ten men agains a man without his sword... He is The Mountain but...
Eddard: they have a cave troll!
Deep Night I despise people that are shocked at the death of animals but don't give a fuck about hundreds of people dying.
IronRAVENxvx You're right!!! they must've distorted the sound!
Quantum Craze Yea he isnt human complete psycho. I also love the way the hound smirks when gregor gets dismounted by loras at 1:37.
Love the difference between the Clegane brothers when Robert tells them to stop. Sandor takes the knee, showing his seriousness of being a knight. While his brother, acting like a child, storms off to through his tantrum somewhere else. I would have loved to see more interaction between them in the series!
He is no Ser
Literally the next season the Hound says “Fuck the King” and deserts his post 😂
"LEAVE HIM BE" - the way hound say that always givies me chills.

+CampSolo Jr Gregor is large, and has thick armour. That is IT.. no skill. He got straight up owned by Sandor.
The real Mountain from the books says he is about 12ft tall.
What? No, he's not TWELVE feet tall, Jeezus, that would make an inhumane giant, it says he's closer to 8 feet than to 7, so basically a bit taller than 7'6", which is already fucking huge
Another actor!? I'm beginning to think Ser Gregor is one of the Faceless Men of Bravos...
Copacetic the actors kept dying or something similar
@@Rajamitaj At this point with only 6 episodes left if he were to appear it would be when Arya kills him that is if she still has him on the list.
@@omegastar19 And this actor is 2.16 m (!) tall. The following two "only" reached 2.06.
Someone tell me again why they changed the Mountain's actor twice. This guy is what I see when I think of The Mountain. The new Mountain looks to "friendly".
I think the new actor is ok. He is much larger than this one and he looks more moronic, which adds more mindless brutality to his character.
It really is too bad that Stevens left as I think he captured the character the best but the new guy is similar in appearance, just looked like he decided to shave haha
did you see todays episode lol GG Oberyn's head.

Not guard. Kingsguard. They still shit their pants though.
JaggSauce
Like a chastity belt?
JaggSauce
armour for cunts --> chastity belt?
That's what actually Selmy thought. He would've rekt the mountain.
When Sandor and Gregor clash even Joffrey knows that's the real deal, not some Knight of Flowers. Still, 3:03 is my favourite moment. You can see who the real knight is and who's the thug, even though Sandor was never knighted and Gregor was.
Lol, Ser Loras is one of the most skilled swordfighers in westeros he even defeated Jamie Lannister many times.
+TheRagnaROCKANDROLL No, like i said it is known that he defeated jamie many times at a 1vs1 duel...
That kneel actually saved him from that sword swing lol
Well... He could have parried that swing. I think it was very lucky that it went right over his head.
+Budger He defeated Jaime in jousting tournaments but a serious 1v1 sword duel Jamie would've stomp
I love the way the Hound stops and takes a knee for the King like an apology, honorable
I feel like he kinda respected Robert
I never understood the look on Ned's face when Loras gives Sansa the rose at 00:07 until I found out the story of the tourny of Harrenhal.
The Eternal Vanguard
which story? please tell me
Luudh uruk Rhaegar Targaryan crowned Lyanna Stark as Queen of Beauty when he won the tournanent of Harrenhal, that led the rebellion that put Robert Baratheon on the throne
Good catch, I never noticed that
He just thought " oh no this shit again "
Sandor Clegane is the best fucking part of this show, the books, and the entire Westeros mythos.
0:06
Ned: Oh no please don't don't... phew.
In his family it is bad xd
He remembers what happened when prince regha choose lyanna 😂
@@MacNchess97 I think he meant Loras giving the Rose to Ned tbh, funny asf either way
I LOVE how Robert is not disturbed by gregor beheading his horse, but the inconsequential duel of gregor and sandor as it reminds him of his rebellion. He is stunned by it right before he orders them to stop
I love how, when the king objects, the one man instantly bows, saving his life as the other guy's sword goes over his head.
The bow didn't save his life. He is skilled and he was aware of that even if he bowed the swing was not precise enough to take his head away.
What!
He didn't bow to save his life.
Sendor cleagane is one of the few people that has actually the ability to beat the shit out of Greagor Cleagane.
He instantly obey the order because he's supposed to. Joffery calls him a dog even when he wasn't the king and still he did everything Joffery asked.
the way I see it, the mountain also decided to obey thus trying not killing him on that last swing
@@swfsql nope the mountain took that swing to kill..he's more loyal to the Lannisters IMO
@@playbox3397 yes he's loyal to the lannisters but he had to be loyal to the king still due to the queen is married to Robert. So family of lannister and barathon are together he would have to obey still.
the best Mountain actor they've had. The newest one is good but looks way younger than he i suppose too. He's great as the Mountain resurrected though.
nah, the new one is easy best for the part, he may not fit the book version, but like tyrion i think clegane in the tv version is better.
Original Mountain had the look and demeanor, new Mountain has the size. Well, I guess the new Mountain has the look as well now, but the original actor is still the closest in appearance to what I imagined.
new mountain has the strength too, he is in fact one of the strongest men in the world in real life
The new Mountain (Hafthór Bjornsson) is much taller and more powerful, actually he won the 2nd place in last year's world strongman championship.
Conan Stevens is more taller, but Hafthor is much more heavy and strong
He was the best "Mountain" actor for me.
+Silvio Peters I never even noticed the actor in this scene is different from the actor in the Prince Oberyn battle
+Mark Reilly And there was another. Three actors played the Mountain.
+Mark Reilly The first recast, you'd find him conversing with Tywin in Harrenhall. The scenes include Arya as Tywin's cupbearer. That dude looked like an idiot for the role.
The Hound stepping forward to protect Loras, when nobody else would, was our first sign he was kinder than we thought
yeah but also tells us Sandor will jump at any opportunity to smoke on that Gregor pack.
Maybe he was saving his brother from an obvious beheading
Petyr: A hundred gold dragons on the mountain!
Renly: I'll take that bet.
Petyr: Now what will i buy with a hundred gold dragons? A dozen barrels of Dornish wine, or a girl from the pleasure house of Lys?
Renly: You can even buy a friend...

@@Jordan-vr7ip This is the most understated comment in the episode, since Little Finger isn't just alluding to the fact that he knows of Renly's homosexual affairs but also that the Mountain has a hard time adjusting to losses. King; Let him go!!
Random Guard; Thank God....
Oberyn Martell You better watch out for what he can do without a greatsword ;)
Isn't one of those guards Meryn Fucking Trant?
jestemwlodzimierz Hah! A Thai Ladyboy could take on 5 Meryn Trant!
The little smirk that Sandor gives when Gregor first falls is perfect
1:37 - I love the Hound's face at that moment. It makes you forget that he killed Arya's friend. LOL
+Kris Bland He was just happy to see the Mountain get de-horsed.
Kris Bland If Arya's friend lived he would have just been digging latrine pits at castle black anyway

2:04 it's like ned want to tell littlefinger " stop talking with my daughter " :D :D
"Stop talking with my daughter and stop stalking my wife."
I love the look Ned gives Littlefinger at 2:03 when he notices his hand on Sansa.
Lol I never noticed that
At 0:39 anyone else notice the Bolton Banner in the background to the right. What are they doing here XD
Ned: '... eugh, remember what happened the last time a pretty-boy gave a Stark girl a flower at a joust?' -.- *Rubs face LoTR style*.
Thankfully, Loras's homosexuality is an open secret and giving the flower to Sansa is just an excuse for Loras to see Renly.
HUNDREDS AND THOUSAND OF DEATHD
Those two Kingsguard in the background while they fight just crack me up. They don´t react to the Cleganebowl going on in front of them whatsoever.
So far Loras Tyrell is the only one to beat The Mountain.
Loras cheated though.
Yep his horse was in heat.
Oberyn has beaten him too, even if he died because of his dickheadness
He wanted a confession though, that was more important than winning and maybe even his life.
I don't think Oberyn ever intended to kill Gregor at the trial. The Red Viper chose the manticore venom for how painful it is and how it eats away at the body inside and his strikes against the Mountain were made with surgical precision. He wanted him to linger and suffer.
"STOP THIS MADNESS IN THE NAME OF THE KING!!!!"
ooooooh I love a man in power
I live the way Ned looks at Petyr while he whisper to her daughter. "I'm going to kick your ass if you don't back away from my daughter"
Anyone else think The Ned had a real bad flashback when Loras gave the rose to Sansa?
I love how Sandor just suddenly bows as the sword is coming towards his head.

Robert Baratheon is a beast. Cannot wait to see his back story more in season 6.
+Bradley S I've been hoping they do a follow up series showcasing the Targaerian reign and up to Roberts Rebellion. I'd love to see the mad king and Rheagar in the flesh. Plus it just sounds like a great story.
Fuck yes. Bran's flashbacks will not satisfy fans enough.
Hell yeah. That would be awesome.
No backstory so far. :/
No backstory at all
Love the Hound's slight crack of a smile when his brother hits the deck
Shit, the hound is nearly 2 metres but you can still see the difference of size
Omar Kayham In books, gregor is 8 feet tall, which is 2.4 metres. And a fucking monster who wears full plate mail OVER his chain mail, and using a 2 handed great sword with one hand.
overdose85 I think Gregor was based off a real person. He led a band of pirates who used to be peasants. The guy would raid villages which belonged to people he hated, fighting with a 9-foot sword. He also managed to defeat an entire royal fleet, beheading multiple people in one swing.
***** Even tho he sounds like a myth, i wouldn't want to face that thing in battle lol.
***** yeah he is based on Pier Gerlofs Donia.
Milen Nikolov Yeah, that was the guy.
The kingdoms were at such peace under Robert Baratheon.
Since he died its all been tragedy.
Back when the show was well written, had layers of context and suspense.
Stop your whining.
Lol, I can't believe how much has Sansa changed across the story
Thankfully.
Yep, the hardened Sansa now is cool, early Sansa was such a prissy damsel in distress that she ranks lower than Rickon, who I didn't even know existed at the time!
No one knew he existed, not even Rickon
for real! its like a different person
I know im late. But sansa only really changed season 6. And the chang was hella fast. Like the next episode she turned badass. Same for arya quite stupid tbh. I would call out bran on it aswell. But he actually did become someone else.
3:03
I love how this was written in book 1; Ned describes Robert using what I'd call his "commander's voice" to get the Cleganes to listen to him.
2:59.. Loras be like "Renly, paint me like one of your french girls"
Stealing other people’s jokes
King Robert: "Let 'em go!"
Kingsguard Guys: "OK. No problem, chief..."
And tell me Lord Renly, when will you be having YOUR friend. Owned. LOL.
Little finger 😎
The first actor for the Mountain is huge. The actor who plays The Hound is 6ft 6 and this actor looks like he has half a foot on him.
Wouldnt House Tyrell demand of House Lannister to give him up, for killing the Tyrell heir? Why would Tywin potentially face war with another major House just to protect one of his banner-man needlessly killing a highborn.
The mountain was lucky he didnt kill Ser Loras.
tywin would just give him to the tyrells. hes too smart and the mountain is not worth a war.
+Adam C To fight the mountain would be world war 3
+lenny wennin lol
Loras wasn't an heir. I know, the series don't tell us much about Tyrells family, but still. loras was the youngest brother, there were Garlan and Willas, heir to HighGarden. After defeating Stannis at Backwater bay, the crown gave most of the Florents lands to Garlan, making him the second most powerful lord in the Reach. That did anger Tarlys, Randyll's wife was the Florent and they deserved those lands.
As of giving Gregor Clegane to Reach or rather dorne after Oberyn destroyed his body
Tywin wasn't very fond of this plan, because Clegane was very special beast, worth really much, even tricking Martell prince.
I love how Sir Baristan Selmy is just standing behind robert, knowing he is the boss and could easily defeat the mountain if he is asked to. :)

I have a feeling you're going to change your mind the second after you see the next episode. I mean, that's what you complainers often tend to do
KalvinEllis No I won't, I'm dead sure on it. Conan Stevens was the perfect Mountain. His acting and body language was just too good. Bjornson just doesn't have the face for evil (he probably doesn't have the acting skills either, since he's not really a professional actor)
I know what happens next.

Ah yes, becuase fans have never complained about castings of "professional actors" before. Gregor needs to look vicious and intimidating. I think this guy will do good.
I really wish they kept this actor playing the mountain
+Henny Lenry I agree the last one is probably even bigger and doesn't act badly but his face is kind of the face of the big fellow who would fight for the good guys. This one had a face you instantly hate the second you see it.
The new guy is bulkier but around 10-12 cm shorter. The first mountain was perfect.
Can't say I've taken a tape measure to them, but yes.
This actor actually left GoT to star in the Hobbit films.
I believe that Conan said that he wasn't even contacted about coming back, so it wasn't a scheduling conflict.
Hmm... is it only me, or the Hound would be already dead?
After the king's reaction, Mountain is missing Hound's head for centimeteres, and he is doing it ONLY because he was ordered to not ripp his head off.
LOL, it was rude. :D
i bet if the king didnt stop it then hound would have won. he is a much wiser knight and doesnt have anger issues which is quite a bad thing. the scar he gave his brother was back when he was a defenceless kid.
Barnan Vant also he was close to killing him because hound yielded on the kings orders.
Barnan Vant to be fair Sandor isint a knight : P he said it a few times over
he is a much wiser and better fighter then :P
It would be an epic fight, though I think Sandor would kill him. Barristan Selmy and Jaime (back when he had two hands) could also take the Mountain on single combat.
This is so old and different. I feel so much nostalgia. What an amazing story!
#0:10 Ned was like: ''oh god not this again'' (R+L=J fans will get this)
I don't get it :-(
Referring to the great tourney where Rhaegar Targaryen, son of the Mad King, Aerys II Targaryen, rode PAST his OWN WIFE, Elia Martell, and presented Ned's sister Lyanna Stark with a wreath of flowers.
We all know that rose was meant for Loras's boyfriend/fuckbuddy. :D
if you think about it (really think about it), littlefinger tried to get sansa out of king's landing in season 3 and it was for loras tyrell that she rejected littlefinger.

Well maybe because they aren't trained swordsmen with several years of practice. They are just actors.
Nah its to make the swords look big.. You don't need a lot of training to hold the sword correctly and swing it fast.
Uhm i'm pretty sure they use fake swords that are pretty damn light most of the time? I don't know, I think its intentional as silly as it is.
