@DVillagomez240 I mean true be he has free will. Like she didn't ruin anything he Ruined his own honor. She didn't rape him ?? Also having mistresses and concubines was a normal part of royal life. Even for women (albeit it was much more looked down upon, it still happened in most royal families in real life). So for rhaenyra thats not even such a big Deal if no one knew about it. Her Moral Compass is different to ours (tbh all royals especially in asoiaf have a screwed moral compass). Viserys was indecisive as a king and let his emotions make his decisions when it came to it, but ultimately his kindness to his family and love for his queen, and especially his brother were his greatest attributes
Though portrayed as weak - his rule was peaceful and it was Indeed his death and absence is what divides the kingdom not his life and rule .

Viserys still need to be respectful since the Lannisters and the Tyrells are very rich and are essential to Westeros' economy. It's why he is respectful and threatening simultaneously in the scene. Plus, Jason's statement regarding dragons could also mean Gold Dragons (Equivalent to 11,760 copper pennies).

If only Visenya was this stern with his brother and daughter, maybe he could've reigned them in.
He would've named Baelon heir without any second thought, and yet Aegon was left behind after a few years. His indecisiveness with everything except Rhaenyra's "honor/virtue" led to the downfall of his family's might.

Better, he should’ve abdicated & ensured the peaceful execution of the pledge everyone agreed to for 2 decades.
