Had one 25 year's, they take a 175 van tyre(Beatle),fz600 twin pot calipers straight fit, double trottle cables straight to pistons, chuck rubber diaphragms, chuck air filters, had two sawn off lorry air horns, straight pipes, van tyre larger diameter,145 mph,had to grind off puncher bead, blew it up maybe 120 psi,in a lorry tyre cage to get it on the rim
@@dwaynejohnson6277 yep, and that's what I've done. Got a Speed Twin 1200 as a commuter. This bike is too loud around town, it has straight through pipes now ;-)
It's a cool bike and I'm not usually a mods guy but I like your mods on this. Love shaft drives, they're awesome. 750 is a great size for a bike. How many k's has it done?
@@aussiewantok 24K! Damn I reckon you're right - that's got another 50 years in it easy heheh!! You might have to subscribe to the n+1 philosophy re bike numbers..
Fair call, I'm only finding 'old bike' issues with this one. Intake boots , seals, anything rubber. Toying around with getting a Moto Guzzi...and that will have issues. Hahaha

It hasn't died, but you could still get another bike anyway. That's what I always do. Peace from Canada.

i had one of these, and with all the issues with one thing breaking down on it after another, there is NO WAY I would ever own one of these again.

Did you find it in the bottom of a river? These bikes are usually bullet proof with minimal maintenance???😮
They just keep going, like an old Volkswagen
You were unlucky. They are very reliable bikes.
@shakeAbooty88 I agree, I still ride mine, no probs 😄
