I was excited to see that the drone I have been looking at, the tinyhawk 2, is a part of the series since I'll be able to follow along and build my drone, knowing that the components will all work together. Hey Captain Drone, I bought a beta fpv starter kit, and I was wanting a better drone. I was wondering what drones will work with the goggles and controller? In the 200$ price range. Thanks for your awesome videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. The only addition today is that there are now more options in the DIGITAL video market & the ELRS receiver market has grown. Both did not exit back in the days of this series, which means there will be a future episode 12, 13, 14, etc.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 awesome. Great to know! I bought a zorro yesterday…hoping it’s decent to grow into, and hoping I can still use digital goggles with it 🤦🏻♂️

In 2021 what is your opinion on the Bunblebee cinewoop? Your video are awesome! I am really glad that you suggested your videos to me! ✌🏻 I have a DJI controller and am practicing on the computer. I haven't ordered a drone yet. I want to eventually be able to use for my Real estate shoots. Indoor tours
Hey Captain, I am loving your video series for beginners FPV. I have been flying cinematic for years, but I'm really looking forward to trying some different flying. I see on your digital setup from video two and then you mentioned it on video three that you use The DJI goggles with the DJI controller. If I have a spare controller for a phantom 4 will that work with other digital quads? So far I like the price of analog, but... Digital seems much cleaner. Thank you for the series and as I like to tell him on the job site, information is good.
Lots to think about in relation to porting over from the Phantom 3 and Xiaomi Mi leafblower that I own. Thanks I wonder if I could build an FPV upgradable camera drone?
Many have done that, but then again, that is an entirely different skill that I won't be covering in this Beginner Series. (at least, so far I don't plan to).
So with the DJI Digital system, technically you do not need a go-pro for recording unless you want 4K? I like the idea of the TinyHawk, but in the UK it is only available from abroad and shipping is sometimes suspect in terms of if it will arrive!!
Going to integrate a mistake here I saw. When talking about either the x or modified x frame. In reality when using a go pro at full sensor with any stabilization off the modified x will not show props while a c frame will. Though if someone is using a GoPro and always runs with stabilization on instead of using the whole sensor on the camera it cuts down the edges of the picture. If you are doing cinema stuff recording with this off and fixing things in post production you’d want to go modified x (deatcat). If not for most the x frame would be good. Besides trade off on performance. Just wanted to add this as I am a camera guy. Otherwise good info.
I'm still watching! Just locked into the beginners series. Silly questions: When the drone is still the camera appears to be angled up at about 5° and the GoPro mount is at about 12°. I could go on. But how do you handle this. It's almost like the GoPro can only film when moving forward. I told you it was a silly question. And yes, I have never seen a drone close.
Correct. If you pointed the pilot camera and GoPro forward, then when you fly you’d be staring at the ground for the simple reason that an FPV drone moves forward at an angle. The higher the angle the faster one goes.
Thanks for taking the time to put this series together - it's nice to get a consolidation of information versus wading through thousands of sites/videos looking for answers. Is it a correct assumption that the up-angle design of the GoPro mounts is to put the camera at approximately horizon level when moving in fast forward flight in a pitch-down attitude? But at slower flight (less forward pitch) or hover then you get mostly skyward GoPro views?
That is correct. Usually for beginners the camera tilt is minimal and the GOPRO mount can be purchased with only a 10 degree tilt or use a moveable mount. 10 degrees will still give you plenty of forward speed and also a very nice hover will looking forward. For experienced pilots the tilt is usually at 35 to 45 degrees.
Thank you Steve, I always learn something from your video. About the setup of your HGLRC Veyron 3, you said half-half, I'm curious about the image quality you see from the FatShark goggle. Is it better than pure analog setup? Thank you.
The FATSHARK is pure analog (as pure as you can get). The quality of the video in the googles relies on the quality of the transmission to you, and they type of antennas you use to receive the signal, then finally the resolution and type of screen in your goggles.
I wish to try FPV but as an old guy I’m concerned about lack of coordination skills and lower reaction time. So, I fly my DJI drones very slowly. The analog quads are affordable, as is the radio. But the goggles price puts me off. Any recommendations? Fantastic video, too, I might add. 👍👍
Practice, practice, practice... makes for perfection. If the sim is causing you to be frustrated then it could be the controller you are using plugged into your computer.... Is it a real RC Controller?
Wao I'm interested in the digital cine cop and my worry is to know the technical terms and understand the quadcopters (drones) since it's my hobby. I really enjoyed your reviews and tutorials. Jah bless. Take care bro
Thanks for putting this series together ! I appreciate you doing this as it basically walks one through all the steps ! Just what I needed to learn more about the FPV hobby.. leaning towards Digital :-)
Thank you for the video. I was considering buying the Walkera Runner 250. After watching your movie, HGLRC Sector 132 seems to be an option. Why you did not consider Walkera Runner 250? It is a really drone as well for beginners? Thanks again
Great series thanks for putting this together!!! It would be great if we could have video/tutorial how to convert your mavic air 2 to an FPV drone!!! As we speak there is no support for goggles and for a beginner it would be great to start with a drone with all safety features. I hope it is not an overkill.
Since the MAVIC AIR 2 is a camera drone, it can never be an FPV RC Hobby drone. When you wear a special goggle with a camera drone it is exactly the same as taking your phone off your remote and placing it inches from your eyes.
Which one of those you can have it programmed to have an option from controller to switch between acro mode and self positioning mode as this would be and adventage for BEGINNERS to not crash those drones in first try in acro mode as it definitely would happen..(?) I believe any drone which is considered as beginner should have the option to switch between acro and angle or horizontal modes..
Hey again.... Ok I purchased the T18 AND on the website for the Mark 4 there are options for the recievers before you purchase... The options are: FRSKY XM+. FRSKY R-XSR, FLYSKY FSA8SV2, and TBS NANO RX.. So for the Jumper T18 or the Roadmaster TX16S which receiver should I choose? Or will any of the above work or what works best for FPV flying. Thanks for the help on this.. Being a NOOB is a pain. Cheers

Hi Steve..👋🏻 Love your channel, so informative and you are a joy to listen to. My question is, as a beginner would you recommend buying all Digital.? I have been flying a small cheap camera drone that a friend gave me to practice on. ( Can’t think of the name ? ) but it’s very agile and sensitive. I’m not worried about the cost as I’m more thinking later saying money if I get set up for Analog and then find I would rather move to Dig.?? A friend had Analog and image seems a problem at time..( eg frosting ) What do you think..? Thanks..🙏🏻
Hi...could you do an episode showing whats the benefit of pfv drone? it is possible to do the smooth move as the normal camera drone? i love the analog system as fits my budget and i have a go pro now so it seems kinda a good option to invest in but most of my friends are more into the camera drone (mavic mini/air) so i dont really have a reference point on drones. Keep up the good work Captian and keep the series going. 😁
@@CAPTAINDRONE798thanks for the quick reply. 😱 I see... so if you're good at flying it is possible to get the similar shot as the more expensive camera drone(albiet with some degree of difference) ..Is the stabilization haywire as like the cheap china drones? or there is some sort of stability but not as much as the camera drones? your footage seems quite stable for a fast moving drone..Waiting for the next ep for the radio explanation. 😁
@@charakuttaahjon3222 At the beginning of each of these episodes I show video shot with an FPV drone... Does it look smooth to you? There is no such thing as a camera gimbal, sensors, stabilization for an FPV Drone camera, it is all up to the skill of the pilot. The better you are at flying the more amazing the video. An FPV drone can get far more shots/perspective than a camera drone. Perhaps go and watch TH-cam channels like Mr. Steele, or Rotor Riot or Le Drib for some simple examples of FPV drone footage.
Hello and thank your for this this tutorials, amazing work. Simple question, I have been able to buy the dji fpv drone for 600 on a sale, however my intention is to be part of the real fpv community with the 5 in drones. Since I already have the Googles and the transmitter the only thing I have to consider is to buy a dron with caddex Vista with no reciver?
You will need the Black DJI FPV radio (transmitter). The grey one you have is not for the FPV hobby. Your goggles will work but you will need to go into your goggles menu and change them to the FPV hobby. I think the option is in the ABOUT menu… then power off, then on, your goggles. Finally you will need batteries and an RC Hobby battery charger. You can then buy any FPV drone that has a DJI Air unit or CADDX Vista unit in it. You would select PNP for the receiver.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I do have the gray controller but is the second version of the FPV dji dron. (not the regular camar gray control). So this transmitter will not work??.. Sorry to hear that, I now will have to invest in a new controller... Dron a battery an charger =(
OK. Just got my nazgul evoque f5 4s. It's my first fpv. Only issue.... no instructions came in the box. I feel like instructions or at least a diagram of parts woulda been nice. Thoughts?
In the FPV hobby there are no instructions with drones because it is not a beginner hobby like that of the camera drones. I agree with you though... if you want newbies into the hobby, step by step instructions would be nice.
Nope. The FPV Goggles can be used with DIGITAL FPV drones but only if you go into the menu system on the goggles and change the communication to the FPV Hobby. The controller can't be used with anything in the FPV hobby.
Buy a $80 tiny whoop and a cheap pair of box goggles first! if you don't like it, you're not out hundreds of dollars! Besides, larger quads are VERY dangerous, especially beginners!
finaly someone with some common sense. Don't recommend these fast quads and full DJI setup to beginners. I foresee lots of tears and anger in the future.
Nice series :) But why do you call the non-DJI remote analog??? It's a digital signal on the 2.4Ghz band just as the DJI remote at 5.8Ghz. The analog rc radio's from the past had unique frequency crystals you needed to change to change the band. Btw, the DJI goggles only have 4 bands and 25mW power in EU. Might not be worth the money over here.
It keeps it simple for beginners because the FPV AIR UNIT has a built in receiver but the only radio that can currently talk to it is the DJI FPV Radio, and people associate that radio with the DIGITAL FPV SYSTEM.
Can you put a table of contents in the description? I think yt has a thing now where you put timestamps and titles and itll show up in the bottom of the video.
You told in the first episode about batteries at cam-drones lasting -say- 30min, but sofar you've not mentioned the flight time of an average FPV. I understand it's all about light-or-heavy performance, but is there a sort of average? And a difference for Analog or Digital FPVs flighttime?
You are confusing the FPV hobby with the beginner Camera Drone Hobby. Camera Drones from DJI are designed for beginners and since the battery and remote are included and the user can’t configure the drone, the flight time is set so that every user receives similar results. There is no such thing in the FPV hobby.
Do you have a setup for the cinego I just can use to go cinematic with it? Just something I can install through any software? I'm a fan of your great and unique channel.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 setup for digital version. I bought it with Crossfire and Caddx Vista. But I was wondering if is there kind of text you can just install and have the drone calibrated for the radiomaster TX 16S. And also a text format with the PDI thru Betaflight. Thank you for your work.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 any good deals going on xl5 last time I check it was on pricy side with dji digital setup...but I saw other video everyone loved it tune is great and it looks great as well with all green tpu around..
Hi and thank you for another amazing video. Question: I purchased a GPRC CinePro 2 and like a NOOB purchased a crossfire protocol however, I have the FRSKY Taranis X9 S Lite ACCESS 2.4 g 24 ch Transmitter. Will I have to purchase another protocol or any way to pair the GPRC to the radio?
Crossfire receiver means you need to purchase the Crossfire module that goes in back of your Taranis. I don't own such a module, so can't help you out there. However, you could order a FRSKY XM+ receiver and then solder the wires coming off that receiver to where the wires for the crossfire receiver connect, then bind it to the radio.
For more on the Crossfire module, I'd recommend checking out Joshua Bardwell's videos on that. There's a cheaper micro Crossfire module and the full size Crossfire module. You'll have to decide for yourself which module is right for you after watching his video about it.
Hey do you have any recommendations for what receiver/controller for the hglrc Veyron 3 I know you made a video on it but just Wana know before I buy it
It works like this in the RC HOBBY..... First you buy a RADIO. When you buy the RADIO you must know what type of receivers it connects to. Next you buy a drone and you order it with a compatible receiver.
Hello Captain, thank you for this video. I would like to get into FPV, but I saw a restriction for drone over 250g (I live in Canada / Québec). Do you need the license and registration for those drones?
As a Canadian I fly every type of drone on the planet. Transport Canada has just one rule and that is that ANYTHING in the air that is unmanned has to follow some regulations. Doesn't matter if it is an RC PLANE, RC HELICOPTER, RC GLIDER or RC DRONE. If the item to be flown is under 250 grams then you can just go and have fun. If it is over 250 grams then you have to register it for $5 on the Transport Canada website and you should also have a Pilot Certificate to fly unmanned items. ($10 to take the test to get the certificate).
I am going to go the digital route and I am ready to order the DJI controller. I’m not sure what the choice between mode 1 and mode 2 choice means. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
MODE 1 means your RIGHT JOYSTICK is the throttle MODE 2 means your LEFT JOYSTICK is the throttle In North America we all fly MODE 2. In Europe and Australia it is half and half how people fly... MODE 1 and MODE 2.
Thank you for the clarification. I was guessing that was the answer but could not find any information at DJI. This is a terrific series for anyone like me that has gotten bored with camera drones and want some some new adventure with FPV. It has been very confusing trying to learn without someone to ask questions. You are now providing those answers. Absolutely a terrific service and well done !
I have two RC short course trucks which use LiPo 6500mAh 7.4V, 2S2P 65C 48.1Wh batteries. Is there a way to build a drone and utilize these batteries, or are they not compatible with the drone world?
Im considering an fpv drone (never flown). Currently I'm considering a betafpv rtf kit, mainly to get the controller to use with drone simulators on my pc, and then upgrade to a tinyhawk freestyle. Firstly is this a good idea? And secondly will they be compatible with the goggles and radio from betafpv? Thanks
The CETUS PRO FPV KIT is popular with beginners that wish to fly FPV indoors more than outdoors. If you want outdoors only, then look at the EACHINE NOVICE IV and III
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks! I've decided in the end to buy the controller only to use with a flight sim to build the skills and the. Eventually buy something different
I bought the Tinyhawk2 Freestyle and the flight controller went out. They refuse to replace it without a fee that is almost the cost of a new drone. Long story, but anyway i am out quite a bit of cash on this thing. Can you recommend a flight controller that is cheaper and will work with the RTF radio?
Never flown one do you suggest just buying 1 and go for it as I been thinking about getting the game DCL on xbox to see if I like fpv first what would you recommend cheers Steve
That is how we all started in FPV. We took the plunge. Buying the gear is easy. Having it all work together is not so easy, which is why this series exists. Flying it is even more difficult because humans have terrible hand/eye coordination, so it takes practice to refine the skill.
ive been putting the hours in on all the sims and i find myself going back to velocidrone over the others, after getting my first real quad last week I was pleasantly surprised how similar it flies compared to the sim and im pleased to report so far ive had no crashes, I found the only thing i was rusty at was landing but other than struggling to find the disarm switch so far its all gone well, I would definitely advise doing some hours in velocidrone prior to flying the real thing
Here’s a stupid question. After watching your video I went out to the site to potentially buy the Sector drone but it sounds like I have to put it together. How much assembly is required on these FPV drones? Do I have to solder wires? Do they come with detailed instructions on how to assemble? Been flying a Mavic Pro since they came out but FPV is all new to me. Are you going to do a video on assembling these, if assembly is necessary? Thanks for the great series!
The drone comes fully assembled if you buy this one: www.hglrc.com/collections/fpv-racing-drone/products/hglrc-sector132-3-4s-fpv-racing-drone-4k-caddx-tarsier-bnf-pnp?ref=y6pn-nzlpr6&variant=31251246841914
Digital or analog! Sorry if the question is repeated. is this about video signal or the signal for controls as well? or they are combined in 1? Can it be separated? i.e. I have an analog controls but digital video or the other way around/
Yes, you can have a DIGITAL camera and wear DJI FPV Goggles and use any radio you want. Just make sure to always order an FPV Drone with a receiver that matches your radio.
hi, thanks for having spent time on doing those really helpful videos. i have a question. Are there benefits on having a digital drone with an analog receiver and rc? thanks
All the drones you mentioned are good. There is no added benefit of a digital camera and an analog receiver other than you get to use a radio that you like and you can use that same radio with other devices in the hobby.
Hi just thinking of getting into fpv BUT what is the beater drones Analog Or just go Digital, what I mean is for view, which is better as I was thinking of getting the dji fpv drone cheers Robbie
Hoping someone else from the UK see's this question, strictly speaking the rules for a "traditional camera drone" over 250g state you need to maintain unaided line of sight whilst in flight so a google setup for a camera drone would be seen as a no no in the UK. But if a camera drone (or in this instance an FPV) is under 250g you don't need to acquire an operator ID and you don't need to pass the test for a flight ID so would an FPV under 250g fall outside of the line of sight rules that govern drones over 250g.
Hi Aggy, I have been thinking about FPV here in the UK in general as well at above and below the 250g limit. The first point should be that we all have a responsibility to others so lets bear that in mind always. In absolute terms there are still plenty of rules governing a drone below 250g. In particular I am thinking about the rules governing restricted fly zones such as airports and the like. And as far as I can establish the rules governing line of site for any SUA, (small unmanned aircraft) do not recognise a lower weight limit, so if all went horribly wrong and you were flying below the 250g limit you would, I believe still be accountable. (Not knowing a law is not a defence). But... The CAA in the uk have an amendment to the rules which allows for the person in charge of the SUA to use FPV so long as they have a competent observer who maintains line of site with the aircraft. This applies to SUA's of below 3.5kg. I personally see this as a very sensible and acceptable solution. (More info at: bmfa.org/Info/Model-Flying-Types/First-Person-View-FPV). Also, Just for info, I have just taken the CAA test and with a little reading and some common sense you'll pass first time. I mention this as its not clear what the CAA's definition of a competent person is. But obviously someone who has passed such a test would easily meet that criteria. Enjoy your FPV!!! BR Jeremy. Ps, Thanks for all your great advice. Captn I'm new to drones and you are my go to!.
@@jeremyroberts6133 Thanks for taking the time to write such a comprehensive reply. I've also taken and passed the CAA test and to be honest if you read between the lines it left me with more questions than answers. For one, as you correctly pointed out drones below 250g are still obviously subject to NFZs and air traffic rules, but the very fact that the CAA arent asking anyone with a Mavic Mini to sitdown read the rules, and then show you understand them sort reflects that they really don't seem to be entirely sure what rules they're actually enforcing. The drone code seems well meaning and all but sort of thrown together. Thank you for posting the link the amendment. That is indeed very comprehensive and kind of how I was expecting the CAA drone code to be structured, I'm guessing at some point that sort of structured information will have to be amalgamated into the test.
This "FPV online course" is really amazing ! I wasn't sure if FPV was for me. But I'm getting there ... Thanks Steve 😉

Hey Captain Drone, I bought a beta fpv starter kit, and I was wanting a better drone. I was wondering what drones will work with the goggles and controller? In the 200$ price range. Thanks for your awesome videos!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Capt for the informative videos as usual!! Due to your videos, they made my choice of what camera drone I was going to purchase (B4W) super easy since you provided so much information on a ton of them and now you are making my decision for the FPV drone I will be purchasing in the near future just as easy!! Keep up the great work and take care sir!
Not sure if all this info is still relevant in 2022 but thanks anyway for breaking down the gate keeping barrier of entry for fpv.
Thank you. The only addition today is that there are now more options in the DIGITAL video market & the ELRS receiver market has grown. Both did not exit back in the days of this series, which means there will be a future episode 12, 13, 14, etc.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 awesome. Great to know! I bought a zorro yesterday…hoping it’s decent to grow into, and hoping I can still use digital goggles with it 🤦🏻♂️
What to change on the drone to make it fly far? In my head I saw a TBS antenna
I am pretty sure you already know. How I feel about this type of hobby.....That being said. I still enjoy the videos. 👍. That my friend is what's called stepping on your shoes without ruining your shine 😎.
There are many BUMBLEBEE Cinewhoop versions and they are all great
Thumbs up ere' Captain, enjoying this series - many thanks for sharing :)
Glad you enjoy it!
alo lindo video deseo que continuen haciendo material de calidad!!! Voy a continuar mirando sus creaciones. Les envio un abrazo nos vemos pronto 🤞🏽👍🏽
The remotes you have for the DJI Camera Drones are very basic and are not designed for the FPV hobby, so you can't use them.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks for the reply! I should have watched episode 4 before I wrote. Very informative so far
Great video!
Thanks!
Silly questions:
When the drone is still the camera appears to be angled up at about 5° and the GoPro mount is at about 12°.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Understood, thank you .
Episode 5 will cover FPV Goggles
Very nice video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I am your fan from india 10yr old
Really enjoying this series Captain. So difficult to master. I've been using a simulator to assist me.
Practice, practice, practice... makes for perfection. If the sim is causing you to be frustrated then it could be the controller you are using plugged into your computer.... Is it a real RC Controller?
Excellent Information well explained.
Thanks Captain
(Be Careful you will poke your eye out with that thing😂🤣)
😁
Great vid sir
Wao I'm interested in the digital cine cop and my worry is to know the technical terms and understand the quadcopters (drones) since it's my hobby. I really enjoyed your reviews and tutorials. Jah bless. Take care bro
Thank you!
Thanks for putting this series together ! I appreciate you doing this as it basically walks one through all the steps ! Just what I needed to learn more about the FPV hobby.. leaning towards Digital :-)
You're very welcome!
Cheers
FRSKY XM+ is what you'd use in the FPV Hobby if you are new to the hobby. Watch EPISODE #9 of FPV FOR BEGINNERS.
Hi Captain! Do you have an updated list for these for 2024 or are they still golden?
These are probably no longer available. If you are looking for a ready to fly kit (super inexpensive) then check out this video: th-cam.com/video/8lmoGL_QJuE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fz_04WMXZv-TpmI3
Hi Steve..👋🏻
Love your channel, so informative and you are a joy to listen to.
A friend had Analog and image seems a problem at time..( eg frosting )
What do you think..?
FPV Drone hobby means no restrictions on how you wish to film. It is all up to the skills of the pilot.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 it seems good enough for me. 😁 thanks for the recomendation, i'll go and have a look on it too.
Great video, which of the analogs would you say you like flying the most?
First then
Great Video Steve!
Hey there captain what cheap transmitter would work with the tinyhawk freestyle 2 and wiuld the eachine ev100 fpv goggles work with it pls reply
Watch EPISODE 4. The 3 radios shown... JUMPER T18, RADIOMASTER TX16S & TARANIS QX7 all work with EMAX.
Nice captain drone ( love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳)
What advantage does the iFLIGHT TITAN XL5 have over DC5?
Much larger drone & it has GPS. Designed more for long range capability.
I bought DJI FPV combo, can I use the goggle and the rc controller with iFlight bumblebee?
Better yet, try a FPV simulator to see if you have the skills to control a quad. Lot's of fun and nobody gets hurt!
finaly someone with some common sense. Don't recommend these fast quads and full DJI setup to beginners. I foresee lots of tears and anger in the future.
Nice series :)
But why do you call the non-DJI remote analog???
I like the Bumble bee...How many drones do you have?🇬🇧
For FPV I have a large selection.
I am not seeing the links you say are below in your videos. Enjoying the videos however!! Thanks
Below every TH-cam video there is a DESCRIPTION area where the content creator adds plenty of great info. Look for a DOWN ARROW or a SHOW MORE option.

Do you have a setup for the cinego I just can use to go cinematic with it? Just something I can install through any software? I'm a fan of your great and unique channel.
You mean a setup for the ANALOG or DIGITAL versions? Watch episodes 8 and 9.

Whats flight time u getting from it?
Depends on the battery you use. Average time is 3 to 4 mins but you can push it to 6 min with larger battery.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 any good deals going on xl5 last time I check it was on pricy side with dji digital setup...but I saw other video everyone loved it tune is great and it looks great as well with all green tpu around..
Would any of these drones work with the radio and googles that come with the GEPRC TinyGo kit?
Dji fpv drone will be controlled by DJI ?
Hey do you have any recommendations for what receiver/controller for the hglrc Veyron 3 I know you made a video on it but just Wana know before I buy it
It works like this in the RC HOBBY..... First you buy a RADIO. When you buy the RADIO you must know what type of receivers it connects to. Next you buy a drone and you order it with a compatible receiver.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you
Hello Captain, thank you for this video.
MODE 1 means your RIGHT JOYSTICK is the throttle
MODE 2 means your LEFT JOYSTICK is the throttle
In North America we all fly MODE 2.
Is it possible to pair/link fatshark goggles with DJI drones?
Nope. But you can run an HDMI cable out from the smart controller to the goggles.
Amazing
I bought the Tinyhawk2 Freestyle and the flight controller went out. They refuse to replace it without a fee that is almost the cost of a new drone. Long story, but anyway i am out quite a bit of cash on this thing. Can you recommend a flight controller that is cheaper and will work with the RTF radio?
Afternoon Steve, is FLY SKY ( FS) controller remotes any good? Thank you for the info, great video.
They do make inexpensive remotes for the hobby. Tomorrow's episode will show remotes (radios).
OK thanks will have a look
CAPTAIN DRONE Thank you!
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks
hi, thanks for having spent time on doing those really helpful videos. i have a question. Are there benefits on having a digital drone with an analog receiver and rc? thanks
other question, would you suggest me the Mark4, the nazgul 5, or the titan xl5? which is the best?
All the drones you mentioned are good. There is no added benefit of a digital camera and an analog receiver other than you get to use a radio that you like and you can use that same radio with other devices in the hobby.
Hi just thinking of getting into fpv BUT what is the beater drones Analog Or just go Digital, what I mean is for view, which is better

Depends how much money you have. If you can afford digital, go that route. If not, then go the analog route.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Cheers, Thanks for replying
Love your videos big help I'm in new zealand
