Tyvm.... from an independent mom that lost her master mechanic dad recently! I appreciate your video... and will upgrade my daughter's lights on her jeep.... we will make a memory thanks to you!
@@houchsgarage533 Do you know what's up with the long black "hook" tab on the top of both headlight housings? It almost looks like something would get screwed in or secured there into that hole on the rail in the engine bay?
Great narration and extremely good filming! I found you to be a GOD SEND because I have to replace both head lamp assemblies with fog lamps. BRAVO sir ! WELL DONE!
Loud background is a deal breaker for me this video was great, I hope your other videos aren't playing background music because your video was really helpful Thks
Definitely a well explained video. I have an 06 grand Cherokee and I thought it would be really difficult to replace the headlights but it looks super easy
I think you are missing one thing that your video doesn't cover and that is how to adjust the headlights once you install a brighter set of lights. Other then that , you covered everything pretty well

Hey man, great video. I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. My fog light bulb won’t click in. A deer hit the side so now the light is just hanging. I tried to put in bk in the fog but it won’t click in place. What do you suggest at this point? Thx
Not to change the bulbs. If you want to replace the fog light assembly, you might be able to do it by splitting off the section of bumper with it still on the Jeep.
@@bbruce1978 to replace the fog light casing, you do NOT need to take the bumper off...the fog lights unscrew from The back and pop out the front. Takes 10-15 to do each one. Not even! 👍🏻👍🏻
I assumed everyone looking to upgrade headlights had the same "before" look. Glazed/white looking plastic that had spent 10 years in the sun. I don't think there was any way to buff them out.
@@gabrielcontreras51 Not the SRT. Just "Limited" with 5.7. I don't see too many like it. I don't like it because there is nothing protecting the lower half of the radiator.

Glad to help out. It was a lot easier than I expected.

I found the production of this video to be excellent. Clear picture, good angle, clear narration. Good job sir
Thank you very much for putting this out there. You helped me out a whole lot in swapping out my 16 year old headlamps on my 2005 WK Limited.

Just ordered all new headlights, fog lights lights and leds for my Jeep Cherokee. Next weekend hope to get this done. Thanks.

Great video, great explanation! Doing this on my wife's '06 in the next few days. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much brother I appreciate it thanks for the info!
Best headlight/fog light video I have seen!
The most informative video explaining in detail this project. Greatly appreciated!!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm doing my 2010 next week. Your video gave me an easy path to follow. Can't wait to see the results.
Glad it helped
Used this video today- everything was correct and saved me time. Thanks
Great video! So unnecessarily difficult. You did a good job of explaining it all.

Pretty easy. Just takes a little time.

I just bought an 05, I have to do this. Thank you!
Well done! Clear, concise and calm
Glad it was helpful!
Really great video am about to do this job! Thank you 👍
Thanks for making this informative and helpful video 👍🏻

Ik this is an old post but I was wondering how to get that red connector off if it’s stuck I have an 05 grand Cherokee
Thanks for the video it is a great explanation step by step
Glad it was helpful! I try to keep it simple with out a lot of extra filler content
All you need to do is wet sand 600 grit and use y2k clear coat on head lights …BAM!! New again
Excellent video. Very helpful...
Thank you for posting this video.

It's easier to use rubbing compound and buff them
hey would this be the same process on my 2006 grand cherokee?
It should be very similar. Both are the WK Jeep model.
Thanks, good video. Could not figure out how to do it.
Glad I could help

Do you have to take off the entire bumper to get to the fog lights?

@matthewbrown, we’re you able to do it without having to take off the whole front bumper??

Did these headlights start to fog up again? Normally once you replace the stock ones it seems they get moisture
Not yet
Guys, I never disassembled the bumper my self and I want to install anti-fog lights. Is there wires with plugs or I have to buy separately?
I don't believe the wires are there on Jeeps that don't already have fog lights.
@@houchsgarage533 Thanks
Now why didn't you show the lights turned on?
Good question. I must have cut that out during editing.
Should show a before and after

@@houchsgarage533 youre right, I'm trying to do this soon, cannot wait until I see my 5.7 looking younger!
Did you disconnect the battery before hand?
I did not
Is that your front bumper stock?
It is! The Grand Cherokees with the Hemi engine have that big air intake under the grill. Looks weird to me compared to the regular bumpers.
@@houchsgarage533 it’s not the SRT one? It looks a lot like it and I have a different one on my 5.7 is why I am asking.
