- Replacing the headlights and fog lights were a nice upgrade for our 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
In this video, I show how to
1. Remove Grill
2. Remove Bumper
3. Remove Headlight Assembly
4. Remove Fog Lights
5. Put it all back together

@@houchsgarage533 Do you know what's up with the long black "hook" tab on the top of both headlight housings? It almost looks like something would get screwed in or secured there into that hole on the rail in the engine bay?

I think you are missing one thing that your video doesn't cover and that is how to adjust the headlights once you install a brighter set of lights. Other then that , you covered everything pretty well

All you need to do is wet sand 600 grit and use y2k clear coat on head lights …BAM!! New again

Hey man, great video. I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. My fog light bulb won’t click in. A deer hit the side so now the light is just hanging. I tried to put in bk in the fog but it won’t click in place. What do you suggest at this point? Thx
Should show a before and after
I assumed everyone looking to upgrade headlights had the same "before" look. Glazed/white looking plastic that had spent 10 years in the sun. I don't think there was any way to buff them out.

hey would this be the same process on my 2006 grand cherokee?
It should be very similar. Both are the WK Jeep model.
Do you have to take off the entire bumper to get to the fog lights?
Not to change the bulbs. If you want to replace the fog light assembly, you might be able to do it by splitting off the section of bumper with it still on the Jeep.
@matthewbrown, we’re you able to do it without having to take off the whole front bumper??
@@bbruce1978 to replace the fog light casing, you do NOT need to take the bumper off...the fog lights unscrew from
The back and pop out the front. Takes 10-15 to do each one. Not even! 👍🏻👍🏻

Did these headlights start to fog up again? Normally once you replace the stock ones it seems they get moisture

Guys, I never disassembled the bumper my self and I want to install anti-fog lights. Is there wires with plugs or I have to buy separately?
I don't believe the wires are there on Jeeps that don't already have fog lights.

Is that your front bumper stock?
It is! The Grand Cherokees with the Hemi engine have that big air intake under the grill. Looks weird to me compared to the regular bumpers.
@@houchsgarage533 it’s not the SRT one? It looks a lot like it and I have a different one on my 5.7 is why I am asking.
@@gabrielcontreras51 Not the SRT. Just "Limited" with 5.7. I don't see too many like it. I don't like it because there is nothing protecting the lower half of the radiator.
