quay is pronounced Key and Bondi is pronounced Bond eye

the "quay" in circular quay is pronounced "key"
My god that was painful to listen to. He said it so many times. Then Bondi (please it’s pronounced bond eye not bond ee)
I was born in Sydney and as a child I would pronounce the word "kway". the English language can be frustrating at times. Perhaps quay should be spelt "kee".
