Tower Hill reserve between Warnambool and Port Fairy (Great Ocean Road). One of the best spots I've been to in Australia for wildlife in the wild. Be careful of food around the Emus - they have no manners! Make sure to look up for koalas & joeys. Great to see you guys get to somewhere other than Sydney/Brisbane/Melbourne - there's so much more Australia to see and it's quite different to the big cities.
I love seeing my home through someone else's eyes/lens/experience. Like anywhere I think you tend to get a bit jaded over time and forget what you have right on your own doorstep. Videos like this make me appreciate what I have a whole lot more. and glad you liked the walk along the beaches here!
The absolutely best thing to do in Sydney for the first time is to go to Circular Quay and get a return ticket on the Manly ferry. You get spectacular views of what has been called the finest harbour in the world. When you get to Manly, get a snack or a meal and sit on Manly Beach for a short while, then enjoy the Harbour again for the return trip. It costs about $5-$8, and is the best trip you'll do in Sydney.
We would love to have neighbours like you to - i.e. the four of you. Thank you for appreciating Sydney's our stunning city, parks, beaches, food and critters. The Blue Mountains are a 2 hour train trip away... that will blow you away. Cheers from Sydney, AU.
I’m extremely thankful to call Sydney, Australia, home. The Bondi to Coogee walk is a favourite, and I’ve enjoyed barefoot bowling at Clovelly Bowling Club overlooking the sea. Please don’t miss the Circular Quay to Manly ferry ride with a stroll along iconic Manly Beach. So glad the sun came out for you.
Really awesome video. FYI That last pub you were at, The Bob Hawke, beer and leisure centre, Bob Hawke was a former Prime Minister of Australia, a Former Australian Council of Trade Unions President, and a former World record holder of drinking a yard of ale, (2½ pints, or 1.4 litres), in 11 seconds, a feat recognized by The Guinness book of records. There's always a bit of history everywhere you go.
Nice video. I was born in Sydney and I love the harbour, the Rocks area and the inner city suburbs. I now live in the upper Blue Mountains, which is west of Sydney, and is a great region for hiking and scenery.
Welcome to my home town. Sydney is a city we're really proud of. Australia is truly the best country in the world, where we welcome the love the opportunity to share what we have.
Welcome guys, a few must try foods you need to try....Meat Pie with tomato sauce, BBQ Shape Biscuits, Lamington, go to a local Fish and Chip shop and get a Hamburger wth the lot, and also grab yourself a Chiko Roll. And who can forget the marvellous Tim Tam biscuits
I really enjoyed the way this was filmed and edited. The flow, music and snap shots of Sydneysiders felt really professional and artistic. I feel inspired to find out how to edited and video. I’m a complete beginner but love photography. Enjoy your time in Australia with your beautiful family. It was lovely seeing Sydney my town of birth through the eyes of a traveller.
Australia is amazing!! We were just there last month (a week in Sydney and a week in Melbourne). Agreed, we would move there if we could. Will be going back to visit Brisbane and the Gold Coast soon.
@@SammyandTommy If you have time, see the 12 Apostles. We booked a day trip through Get Your Guide. Food places: Pie Thief (we found them through another TH-camr. You’ve probably heard about the croissants at Lune. They are good, but if you decide to go, visit the Fitzroy location (not as busy as the one in the CBD), another TH-camr suggested Brick Lane Cafe. This place is small, but worth it. We went twice!! Highly recommend Hochi Mama (food and service is great, make a reservation, it gets busy). We liked Hareruya Pantry. I’ve never seen mochi ice cream like this before. We went twice. Lol. Recommend by the same TH-cams for Brick Lane. We took the train to Brighton Beach to see the Bathing Boxes. We then walked to the town of Brighton for a quick snack. Look forward to seeing your other vlogs from Australia. We love it there, and it was our first time as well.
Welcome to Sydney. I always recommend that first timers take the **slower** ferry to Manly (itself a great experience), then head on to Manly Corso, Manly Beach then Shelly Beach. For food with a view, Hugos Manly is right on the wharf (expensive). Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club, great views of the Harbour, and away from the hustle and bustle. If those restaurants don't suit your fancy, Manly as plenty of options.
We were in Australia in January for a few weeks. In Sydney there’s a really cool place to eat called Spice Alley. It has a ton of food stalls from all over the world. We really enjoyed it. Have fun. I loved it, especially the Australia Zoo in Queensland.

When you are in Cairns take the skyway above the rainforrest to Kuramda spend a couple of hours wandering around the village and then get the train back you can buy a package that covers both trips. Great video, folks! You might be interested to know that there are 44 tidal pools in Sydney! They are mostly on the coast but many are in the harbour. A lot were built in the depression as a Nation building project and to give men some meaningful work. Love the brewery touring too!
