  • I admit to not trying this. We don't do many appliques. This was a question in the facebook group and I think this is a possible solution or something similar. Please let me know in the comments if it works.

    I think I could cry. 5 days of frustration trying different softwares and demos for expensive software.. I cannot thank you enough. You have saved my poor embroidery machine from getting shipped back lol! Thank you thank you thank you

    Hi, just so you know, I added your inkstich playlist to the "community explains inkstitch" section on the Inkstitch Channel. Keep up the open source vibes :). - Tina

    When you want to do the stroke color (not fill) you can shift-click the color and it will apply to stroke. Click for fill, shift-click for stroke.
    Thanks for the videos. I just got a machine and starting to figure out my workflow.

    Thank you for the videos! Was wondering how you got each letter into its own layer with what seemed like some automatic click. Rather than go to layers, add a layer, move selected letter to layer.

      Each letter should technically be in its own object layer. Press and hold the Ctrl button and click a letter with the mouse should select a single letter.

    How would i add the running stitch ontop of the satin stitch

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just duplicate one of the underlying running stitches

    What tension setting do you have on your Brother machine? I have a PE535, but my stitches and satin stitches are not coming out well.

      We have a brother innovis nq1600e and two se1900. They are both at factory default. In the tension settings screen the tension is at 0 (can be adjusted in +/-1 increments).

    Hi; Could you do video on 3D puff on letters and numbers? thanks

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd be happy to. Are you interested in a certain font type or actually drawing the letters out yourself?
      Also, you replied to the lettering applique. Are interested in this project being an applique type design?

    You said to chose multi layers, you hold the ctrl key down and click with your left mouse key. I can't get this to work for some reason.

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm. I may have misspoken. Try holding the left shift key and click with the left mouse button. That should allow selecting multiple.layers.

    Hi. I was wondering if you could do a video on how to do knock out stitching?

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I sure can. Just to be sure, do you mean knock down stitch for embroidering on fluffy fabrics?

      when you click on the letter tool, and then just click (don't drag) inside your working space you should get a cursor that tells you it's ok to type now.
