As a ride or die Gyarados fan I feel like I should note is that Gyarados 100% deserves an honorable mention for its viability in gen 8 solely for being the poster child for why Dynamax got banned. It was the best thing to do for pretty much that whole era.

One time iwhile playing pokemon showdown i made a person who had a team of arceus forefit with a snorlax it was one of the best competetive pokemon moments i had
To be fair to Gyarados, he was ABSOLUTELY BUSTED in Gen 8 before the Dynamax ban. Sure, after DMax got banned, it fell off, but I think it's fair to mention that it perfectly adapted to that generational mechanic and was one of the absolute best abusers of it. GOAT status fr fr.
I am a strong believer that if they reversed the removal of Steel type's Dark resistance and replaced it with Psychic being the type that is now neutral against Steels, the entire meta(gross) would start to heal. Also reverse the Fairy matchup with Bug (make Bug resist Fairy instead of the other way around) and let Bug resist itself. I challenge you to find things with these three changes that would be an absolute negative for the meta, because all I see are upsides.
i'd also like to give some respect to the lati twins, from gen 3 to 5 those two were absolutely unbelievable but from gen 6 onwards they just haven't been able to overcome their truly awful typing (latios clung onto ou in gen 6 but it's nothing compared to the banworthy degenerate it was in gen 5). especially in ubers where pre-nerf soul dew was legal they were truly ridiculous, just to put it into context a timid max Spa/Speed latios with soul dew essentially has base 220 special attack and 174 special defense, it's basically a florges that hits harder than any other special attacker in the game (including mega mewtwo-y and chi-yu) and that's not even accounting for the elite defensive profile and 140bp draco meteor
I watched a Jerry Springer documentary last night and they had a guest that married his horse. I would like to know if the Horse Council has weighed (neighed?) in on this troubling matter with legislation. Possibly for my own self-interest. Thank you.
I truly believe that Metagross has been underbuffed compared to some of its other brethren. After being nerfed in Gens 5 and 6, it got almost nothing significant (mega excluded) until Gen 9, where the powercreep has gone too far. You heared it here first, folks: Gen3 Salamence has everything going Furret.
Gen 2 ubers will be be Gen 10 UU
It’s a great day to be a Jim cool viewer folks
To be fair to Gyarados, he was ABSOLUTELY BUSTED in Gen 8 before the Dynamax ban. Sure, after DMax got banned, it fell off, but I think it's fair to mention that it perfectly adapted to that generational mechanic and was one of the absolute best abusers of it. GOAT status fr fr.
Every pokemon has the potential to drop when gimmicks are abound
I am a strong believer that if they reversed the removal of Steel type's Dark resistance and replaced it with Psychic being the type that is now neutral against Steels, the entire meta(gross) would start to heal.
Also reverse the Fairy matchup with Bug (make Bug resist Fairy instead of the other way around) and let Bug resist itself. I challenge you to find things with these three changes that would be an absolute negative for the meta, because all I see are upsides.
Give gyarados Dragon Ascent, it makes so much sense from a lore perspective and would make him very powerful again
When will you rank all the hidden powers
i'd also like to give some respect to the lati twins, from gen 3 to 5 those two were absolutely unbelievable but from gen 6 onwards they just haven't been able to overcome their truly awful typing (latios clung onto ou in gen 6 but it's nothing compared to the banworthy degenerate it was in gen 5). especially in ubers where pre-nerf soul dew was legal they were truly ridiculous, just to put it into context a timid max Spa/Speed latios with soul dew essentially has base 220 special attack and 174 special defense, it's basically a florges that hits harder than any other special attacker in the game (including mega mewtwo-y and chi-yu) and that's not even accounting for the elite defensive profile and 140bp draco meteor
Lotta water types I’m noticing
I watched a Jerry Springer documentary last night and they had a guest that married his horse. I would like to know if the Horse Council has weighed (neighed?) in on this troubling matter with legislation. Possibly for my own self-interest. Thank you.
"I'm tired boss."
Jimothy, my favourite pokemon of all time is Sylveon 🥺 can you make a Sylveon horse please ? She really wants to be a horse 🐎 🥺👉👈💖
I can't take it anymore...
Ronflex might have fallen off competitively. But in his battle sprite, he rose up.
I truly believe that Metagross has been underbuffed compared to some of its other brethren. After being nerfed in Gens 5 and 6, it got almost nothing significant (mega excluded) until Gen 9, where the powercreep has gone too far. I think a new ability would go a long way for it, the way Moxie or Multiscale really helped the dragons. Light Metal is just a garbage ability.
Hey, Houndoom was sorta kinda good at times. You put some respect on that name and feature him with the greats.
Yeah!!!
I genuinely think starmie would be ou gen 9 with Tera boosting its mid attack, rapid spin, & smacking great tusk/ ground types
Gengar deserved to have Levitate taken away for his Mega form stealing Chandelure's Shadow Tag
Jimmy, wheres my boy Gengar on this list? They nerfed him and took away his levitate :( .
Okay Jimothy Cool.
