    The styling of the Millenia was ahead of its time.. I see cars today that took styling cues from this design.. one of my favorite styling cars ever.. ❤️

    Always loved the looks of this car; one of the best looking sedans Mazda has ever produced.

    Lovely car and beautiful interior but I am totally shocked at the price of $33K in 1995 for the S model, that is $65K in today's money which is crazy high for a Mazda. What were sales volumes like?

      I had a mazda millennia s 14 years ago my first and best car ive ever owned. Unfortunately couldn't take it with me to California because of very strict smog standards. Took me 7 years and 3 cars in the meantime but i ended up finding another mazda millennia that the same color and only had 77k miles on it. Bought it for $3,000 and ive been driving it ever since and its been the most reliable car I've ever had still. Right now i average around 450 miles on a full tank of premium fuel. You can bet that hurt when the gas prices shot up and was paying about $100 per fill up.

    That was a really nice car for 1994. Way ahead of its time.

    Always loved the look of the millenia. Back then, it was a gorgeous car, especially the 99-00 millenia S in white.

    Bought a 95 in 2000 with average miles for about 10 k and drove it until late 04
    Pros: Comfortable, excellent in the snow, good sound system, and pretty nimble.
    Cons: Check engine light came on 6 months after buying it and the body rusted terribly, but I lived in a cold climate at the time.
    I don’t see any of them around even here in the southwest where older cars look nice sans faded paint.
    They were probably all junked because they had a lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
    Should have bought a 90 Lexus 400 at that time for about the same price with 100k on the odometer, and it would probably still be running with a half a Million miles on the odometer.
    Bought all Toyotas since then.

    This Is the same thing Mazda is doing today with SkyActive

      A Miller Cycle engine has *nothing to do* with Mazda's Skyactive. Skyactive uses homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI).

    • @MandusahRamirez
      @MandusahRamirez 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Matt_from_Florida ITS HIGH COMPRESSION! That’s my point. Stfu

    • @nandernugget
      @nandernugget 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Matt_from_Florida even then, the interest in unique engine technology was there, even though it’s not the same as SKYACTIV, their time and development from this would evolve into the SKYACTIV program.

    Bought my 97 used when it was a few years old. Loved it until it had tranny issues under 60k miles. Aamco didn't fix it right so got my money back and traded it in.
