I don't know about steriotype, but but what I HATE is when someone asks me "who are you gay for?" It annoys me because like do thyou y want me saying "who are you straight for" . It just doesn't make sense, you don't need to be In a relationship with the same gender to be gay. You can just sometimes be attracted to a person of the same gender once like a crush or they just are watching tv and think someone looks really attractive.

@@Earth098 ikr, I’m gay myself and I can understanding when people assume I’m straight but when people say I don’t look or act gay in anyway I get a bit annoyed. I do fit in some stereotypes like being obsessed with musical theater, liking a lot of cute things, but for the most part I “act” like a straight male not because I am hiding it, it’s because that is just was how I interact with people. I don’t always have to be flamboyant, and I don’t have the nasally tone of voice that some gay people have, I’m just me.

Honestly, I hate how my mom always points at any guy who walks girly and says: "He's gay, I'm sure."
When I try to explain not all LGBT people act a certain way neither do straight people,
she's just like: "I can see when someone is gay. Lesbians have short hair and gay guys like makeup and nailpolish. It's like that.
One time she even said: "Ugh, why don't they go date a girl? I mean, why would you even *choose* to be gay when you can stay straight."

    Worst gay stereotypes that kept me and many other gay men and women in closet are;
    1) Gay men are always feminine and lesbians are always masculine: NOT TRUE
    2) In a gay relationships there is always a masculine one ('husband') and a feminine one ('wife'): NOT TRUE
    3) 'Gaydar': DOES NOT EXISTS
They made my life miserable, and I'd do anything to help break them down. And please stop calling 'queer community'. Because gay people are people just like straight people. We are tired of labels.

I'm not quite sure if Asexual is part of the LGBTQ+ community, but I really wish people would understand that we exist, and we need love too. Just not in a sexual or romantic way. I adore platonic, family and friend love, but people assume I'm Pan based on how open and touchy-feely I am with all my friends. And while there's nothing wrong with being Pan - after all my best friend is - it's just not who *I* am. Maybe one day, everybody will be accepted for who they are as a person, and not by their sexuality, skin color, gender, or backgrounds. All that matters is the beautiful person inside your body. Sorry if this was a lot to read. I just have a lot of weight on my shoulders. - An Asexual fighting back.

    Pan is _not_ "fancy bi"
Pan is _not_ "more correct" than bi
*Bisexual* means attraction to 2 _or more_ genders
*Pansexual* means attraction _regardless_ of gender/ to all genders
And *all sexualities are trans inclusive if you aren't transphobic*
Trans people are not some _other_ category that only pan people are attracted to
Ex: A straight man can be attracted to a trans woman

Now, I've dated two girls but my friend told me that because I wasn't interested in them and was only dating them because the other girls in my school were dating girls and I wanted to blend in. I'm straight, and I know that I am straight. When my best male friend came out to me as gay and he was just crying and crying and he wanted to kill himself because his parents wouldn't accept him because if his sexuality. I told him that sexuality doesn't define personality and I just let him use my shoulder until he was feeling better. In like the next month or so, he had himself a boyfriend and let me just say, they were voted cutest couple in the yearbook. Eventually, his parents accepted him and they became a happy family.

The most annoying part about being attracted to same sex/gender or being greysexual is that when you watch a movie it always has a straight person as the main character. If they aren’t straight then the whole movie focuses on the fact that they aren’t straight.
Edit: that is, in general :)

Bisexual: being sexually attracted to two genders, generally boys and girls, bi means two.
Polysexual: I usually think of like a polygon- more than two edges or whatever, it means being sexually attracted to more than two but not all genders. Let’s say I like boys, girls, non-binaries and demigirls. I’d be polysexual.
Pansexual: Pan means all. You like all genders. Non-binary, cis boy, cis girl, trans boy, trans girl, intergender, demigirl, demiboy, genderfluid, the list goes on.
    PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT, SUPPORTING HETS.

When I ask them to explain, they say it's only Gay people who have rainbow flags and nothing else matters to them, which of course isn't true. Well except for the gay pride having a rainbow flag. I am bisexual, having a pink purple and blue flag, but when I say that they say that I'm not part of it.
