Even though there’s practically nothing to do there, the Nilfgaardian center camp is my favorite location of all. It perfectly portrays the true scale of war. The area is enormous, easily 2-3 times the size of Novigrad, and all tents housing soldiers. Thousands of soldiers. All preparing to march against Redania’s battered army.
Would definitely love to see another DLC for Witcher 3 but was wondering if you'll be around to start a new Witcher 3playthrough start to finish? No other Witcher playthrough came close to yours in terms of explaining parts and the lore. Would love to see that let us know!
There are additional bits and pieces of the plague quest line in the files that have been restored but for the most part CDPR did a god tier job of purging all evidence of it from the files. Based on what I've learned, it was really well written and featured some unique enemies like goat demons. The main antagonist Hector von Kraft Ebbing is interested in the demons Marbas(Ars Goetia) and Baal Berith. These demons are from real life mythology similar to other stories in the Witcher. Mr. Mirror was another powerful demon(this version was likely not as powerful as the one depicted in HoS) that wanted to stop Kraft Ebbing. The crazy part is that the plague quest line isn't even the biggest thing they cut.
There was this whole section where emhyr would arrest the lodge except for Yen and Triss in between the Eredin fight and the conjunction . There is some unused leftover dialog about this that you can find on youtube. You could also pay respects to Crachs body and talk to his Kids, etc all before the conjunction events started.
I believe everyone has their favourite of the witcher lore that they would love to see more about. More about Iorveth and Roche would be very cool, ive read some people write about the lodge, personally i would love to see something about Brokilon, Dol Blathanna or Mahakam. Ofier would be an interesting turn aswell. Most of those things could easily fill an entire DLC. I think what we all can agree on is: more witcher good, and atm theyre working on Witcher 4 so i believe we wont see another Witcher 3 DLC anytime soon if at all.
One thing about this post that the developer points out is when I played the witcher 3 and got to the reason of state quest, I didn't really have a hard time choosing a path because it was kind of obvious what the better option was. being nilfgaard over a lunatic, which always threw me off and bugged me on why this was supposed to be a difficult choice when the answer was obvious, other than keeping the kingdoms independence, which is always a worthy goal but it bugged me that we didnt see the things you learned in the books and lore about nilfgaard in the game.
Yeah you really feel the B-plot just disappear in the released videogame, sorely missed Iorveth. But not just him in particular, but he as a symptom of the underwritten political story.
I do have to say that towards the end of the base game, it gets kind of clunky and rushed, and I can totally see how they cut out certain things. Let's hope we get a remake in like 10 years that has extra quests in it... I'm just more curious on how they're going to remake the Witcher 1, because technically a lot of stuff from the Witcher 1 isn't even canon or makes sense in the Witcher game storyline perspective; I do love the Witcher 1 though.
Maybe it would have all been different (and even better than it is) if there had been more focus about it being a trilogy. I played the very first witcher game almost two decades ago, a few years ago I discovered the "rise of the white wolf" mod and played it again, I played the Witcher 2 quite a few times and I'm currently on my second playthrough of TW3. The most memorable character from TW1 was Vincent Meis and I already missed him in TW2. The "Reason Of State"-Quest felt nearly as shocking as the vanilla ending in ME3, after having played the leviathan quest.
There are 3 diverging paths from 1 point in the quest and most people don't examine all of them because the quest text tells you to do the main one, which is killing the wyvern, and then the changes and tells you to go back to the quartermaster and collect the reward, ending the quest.
Among lots of other games I’ve played, I must say Witcher 3 is the only Witcher game I’ve played (on PS4) and it’s the game I play most often when I get bored half way through other games. Witcher 3 is the best game ever!
As for iorveth i am kind of glad that he wasnt in the base game unless it was in a dlc that took us out east somewhere becaue otherwise i feel like it would be fan service to include him. I feel like yaevin would of been a good character to bring back in the witcher 3 being based out of vizima. Feel like you could really expand his character with the events of the witcher 3. also rip sigfreid of denesle lol. All this stuff however that the developer brings up makes me really want to have a an actual rpg in the witcher world with a blank slate character so we can see more of these aspects with new characters and probably some familiar ones aswell
@BlueMarsalis oh yea, I agree& disagree with that. In the games definitely. for story purposes, it would make more sense if it was yaevin with iorveth being in the east and yaevin being previously close to witcher 3. Plus, it would be good to see his scoia tel band again seeing toruviel
@@albertwesker6153 Yeah the only thing that changes if you sided with Iorveth is that when you find Roche, he won't welcome you with open arms and the guards will not let you in at first.
Iorveth at the battle of Kaer Morhen would have been insane

a shame they didn't give us more dlc content honestly
I feel ya buddy even though we got a bunch, just goes to show how good the game is.
I wish there was a larger quest line about the lodge as well tbh
It would be interesting to see the lodge explored more, maybe something involving dol blathanna

I wonder what that “hidden event” is in Patrol gone Missing.

The Devil's Pit was supposed to play a big part as well.

nah
Yeah but Iorveth's a much better character though.

This is great stuff. Cut content doesn't get tqlked about enough. Should have put it on the main channel.
I’m guessing the Roche path is “canon” in Witcher 2? I’ve never gotten around to replaying the game to go with Iorveth
The Iorveth part is a lot of fun honestly, currently replaying to take Roche's path and I have to say that the Iorveth path feels more "Witcher" like.
Just because Iorveth’s path didn’t really carry over into witcher 3 doesn’t make it not canon
Even if you side with Iorweth Roche will still be your friend in the Witcher 3
@@albertwesker6153 Yeah the only thing that changes if you sided with Iorveth is that when you find Roche, he won't welcome you with open arms and the guards will not let you in at first.
Idk why they don’t just do a expanded version release and put in all the quests.
The cut content should at least be relased/put back into the files so modders can do what they did with TW1.
Did Witcher George become Ranger George?
Witcher 4 - Ciri meets up with Erovith?
It you can kill Vincent in the Witcher 1 so how would they account for that
well, you can kill thaler as well, but he stays alive anyway
Yeah it's clear that the writers regret some of the decisions they had in TW1 lol. Anyway, Thaler being alive is great! Love that character!
What happened to WitcherGeorge channel?
I'm saving my main channel for very special videos!!
@@RangerGeorge AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
The next gen update was a disappointing
Massive shame
