@@AimForMyHead81 Hey Lucius. How's Anthony doing? Tell him to not go to war with boats but just take Rome with you and you're soldiers. Hope you can convince him!
@Kvs1989 Unfortunately Antony is dead along with Cleopatra after Octavian took Egypt. Octavian now rules Rome and has styled himself as "Augustus". As a proud Catonian, I'm laying low. Maybe I'll settle down somewhere in Greece.
16:56 “the guy who can improve both your swords and armour in exchange for everything you own, have owned, or ever will own” Laughed so hard I spooked the cat. Yeah, going back and being told I needed to submit increasingly ridiculous amounts was certainly a time. On my first playthrough I was half convinced I was going to come back one time and everything would be gone, like a medieval fantasy version of a Nigerian prince scam Edit: oh, and yes, definitely more like this, please and thank you
Would have definitely liked the quest more if it was a Nigerian prince scam and you never saw him again after giving him the 30k. That way it wouldn't be as disappointing as finding out you still have to pay him full price for his services afterwards without so much as a thank you for giving him a rich mans fortune. The game doesn't do well to back this up but 30k crowns in the story is an insane amount of money.
Being stupid as I am, I finished this quest until I realised it’s no long relevant because stamina doesn’t get consumed during exploration, armor weight doesn’t matter if you know what you’re doing, and I even finished without using any runestone slots. I rushed to get that DM trophy so I could play again slowly.
The amount of content the devs left out is insane! Would love to see more and appreciate how much time and effort you put into finding new discoveries with this amazing game. Keep up the great work!
hell yeah, after seven years out, there is still more content?! thank you for doing this video, I would certainly like to see more :) i'm too lazy to dig myself but I love to watch this kind of content :)
For almost 2 years I'm into the Witcher universe. Games, books, comics and I am still not bored to see more content dug up. Many thanks for sharing cut file content. I def would enjoy more restored videos
Loved your snark when it comes to the runewright! On my first ever playthrough, my face fell when I saw how much money he asked for only to charge me for every little thing. Surprisingly, the Roach content might be my favourite and I'd love to see what other content they might have cut from the rest of the game. This was a great video and I appreciate the time this must have taken to record and edit, I only wish I could leave more likes on it!
Yes!! Please more of this!! Please more videos where you go in depth on update/patch notes. They’re so important and it’s what keeps the gang fun year after year. I can’t thank you enough!!!
This is super stuff, mate! Thanks for sharing! Of course, I want to see more restored cut contents like these! I wonder if Skellige, Kaer Morhen, and Toussaint also have this many cut contents...
Thank you Neon, for the awesome content. One of the few youtubers that I cant wait until they put content. I am glad you got opera to sponsor you as their browser really is good. Please if you can put the other cut content would really appreciate it and watch it ofc. Now, I have a small personal request, if you can find anything for Odin the drunk dude you see lying in Novigrad and can read posts about his "adventures" but no quest with him on Witcher 3. For some reason its been on my mind a lot lately even though I haven't even played in Novigrad for a while, been focusing on Toussaint. This whole video made me think about him even more.
More please! This was fascinating. I never even knew such content existed within the game files. When you mentioned Roach I was hoping for some more horsie dialogue since I must admit that that quest ruined riding in the game for me. I felt judged by Roach for every little action after that & I wasted a lot of time making sure I didn't leave her alone in monster infested woods ever again. lol
Amazing for you to put all those together! Only finished my first play through 2 months back, seems like most of those cut dialogues are restored. So I guess CDPR watched this video 😂
Just watched your "Most Hated quest" video where you go at length about Dijkstra's intellect up until the end. Your console input at 2.16 in this video made me chuckle!
I would love for you to do more of these videos as well as a second part to the "geralts choices" Video! Also I read another comment with the idea of you doing maybe a commented book wild hunt playthrough, would really love that
The Runewright finally gave meaning to all loot spots in Skellige. Please more. I simply gave up on this game. I cannot replay seeing everything I missed previously. So I love other people providing the knowledge.
Really proud of you, already getting sponsorships! Great video and editing aswell. Keep this up and you will have 100 thousand subscribers before 2023!
Bravo sir! I just watched this cut content video for the first time and I gotta say, this was so cool thank you. You've done something even Letalis hasn't done. I understand it's not a competition but you two are the very top of witcher3 content. Anyway, very cool.
As I've probably said in another video comment I'm playing through Witcher 3 again for like the 5th time, and these videos coming out in the same time span is awesome. I got a new 4k TV and am blown away at the beauty i missed on my smaller 1080p TV. I'm going on 1,000 hours now of total play time and these videos you make make me love the game even more. Thank you again Neon for your hard work om these. Take care, brother. Much appreciated.
Nice to see someone appreciating our work and posting it here on TH-cam. To make things more clear - yes, you could say that some stuff was intentionally removed (but why then leave it in the files and not remove it completely?), but 90% of everything that was restored wasn't cut on purpose, but was indeed truly bugged. The game relies heavily on using facts when you make decisions. These facts are then used throughout the game, e.g. some dialogues are available only when you meet (or don't meet) a certain fact. CDPR used either wrong facts or facts that didn't exist at all or were never added. Anyway, thanks for the video! It was a nice showcase. Spoiler alert - more restored content for Ciri lovers will be released in the near future!
I’d agree overall, but certain things like the Letho conversation seem intentional… I didn’t want to talk about it for too long, but the more you think about that dialogue the less sense it makes, imo at least. anyway, you guys do great work 😎 thanks for that.
I'm not sure if this is applicable to the quest logic of the Witcher 3, but in a massive group project like making The Witcher 3 I would be very afraid to delete any code in case it is referenced by any of the other hundreds of employees' code. It's often simpler to make said piece of code unreachable. Maybe that's another explanation? Brothers In Arms is fucking amazing btw! Thank you!
@@BenAF82 Thanks! Well, in the case of Witcher 3, it's not really necessary to keep unused parts in the files controlling the quests. They're unused anyway, so it can't break other employees' work, unless their work would be dependent on other facts etc. used by the quests. But if you do something wrong here, you'll discover it very soon - because the game will crash as soon as you reach the point where you made an error so they would notice it during QA.
So glad you're keeping up on your flow! When it comes to Witcher content I prefer you over any other content creator, keep it up, I've watched everyone of your videos so far all the way through and I can't wait to watch more
