Perfect example of how magical the mellotron can sound! This whole album is beautiful, not a dud on it. And to think it was basically ignored when it was released, eclipsed by other bands. Those were incredible times in music.
Just to add, that was the mellotron used on 'Strawberry Fields Forever', 'I Am The Walrus', Flying' and 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. After The Zombies used it For 'O and O', The Pretty Things used if for S.F.Sorrow', (another overlooked 'masterpiece'), so it has some pedigree.
Another gem from Chris White! And the group’s harmony singing, it sounds like a choir in a church service, unbelievable feeling here. What a talent for painting a scenic song picture, as well as the other composer on this album Rod Argent.

@@endriu55 Not really. Music started taking a nosedive in the 80s (they figured out the masses will listen to whatever they throw at us, quality not a factor)

Thank you for giving this song the proper treatment for a video! Psychedelic, and reminiscent of 60’s England. Very well done!

I love it, it is too far ahead of its time, without a doubt a revolutionary band

Awesome song!
Nothing beats the backing vocals of this album
Sgt Pepper is crying jealous tears...
I take both albums at any day!
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, ask the zombies, 100% would say it wouldn't have happened without pepper existing - and Pepper wouldn't exist without Pet Sounds

Best that CHANGE... DANiELE :)
I really like this video, but TBH it would be better without showing the lyrics.
To think this was made in the 60’s?!
The North Wolf Games so what? 60's were great
The North Wolf Games The greats seem modern because a lot of pop stemmed from music like this
It sounds like the 60s to me, thats not a bad thing.
yup 1968, why is that weird though? 60's were great and all years that come after it also.

I think the video kind of takes away from the music
Jackson R. Then close your eyes you dip
