that chorus! i had 'time of the zombies, a 2 album set on vinyl which sounded fantastic. the bass came jumping out on the chorus to this song. unfortunately, i had to sell my record collection to pay the mortgage when i was in between jobs. when i hear their songs, it takes me back to age 22 when the songs were about the same age and i think of my 2nd great girlfriend and all the good times we had being in love.

@@petergomez7490 Granted it depends on the artist or genre, many are deliberately thought provoking, but I would generally advocate for a focus on emotional response rather than an analytical one. Music is, generally speaking, meant to move you.

That double album was my introduction to the Zombies, I was about 12 at the time and it became, and still is, the perfect blueprint to pop excellence.
