    If anyone is thinking of trying this skin care routine, I'm here to tell you to DO IT!!! I have been using the exact products that are mentioned, except using the ordinary niacidamide serum, and my skin is transforming! My oil is at bay, my pores look smaller, my texture and pigmentation is disappearing every day. I have had acne and large pores and oily skin since I was a young child and have spent thousands of dollars trying to find a skin care routine that works... from drug store to super high end products.. and nothing has worked as well as this! The face theory moisturizer is amazing, it does pill up a bit if you use too much, but it blurs my pores when I put it on and keeps my skin looking natural and satin like through the day!! While providing great hydration, of course. I thought the clarifying cleanser would clog my pores since it is more of a creamy formula, but if you let it sit on your skin for a minute after applying it has a chance to penetrate into your skin and leaves it looking so nice and not dry or stripped after. The retinol serum by cera ve is also a game changer, I've tried a few retinols that just irritate my skin or break me out, but this one is the perfect strength and I am able to use it every night without any irritation. Everyone's skin is different but I can't say enough good things about this routine, and if you're looking to manage your oily skin I highly recommend this!!! Thank you Dr Simi!!! 😊

    Dr. Simi how would one take care of sensitive skin? I don't wear a lot of makeup and I just use Vaseline and coconut oil to keep my skin moist. I am cautious about the products that I use, but still having a few rashes and irritation.

    Hi Dr. I'm Nigerian too. I have oily acne prone skin. Everything talks about oils hemp squalene, rosehip. Should people with our skin color use these oils? Does liquid make up also make out skin oily?

    • @Skindreamzz
      @Skindreamzz 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @RonandHerm Hi Love, the oils you have mentioned help with the acne but not the oily skin. I advise you use the oils after applying a moisturizer that is water based so that your skin is hydrated and also does not produce excess sebum. If you are looking for more skin care tips, I have a FREE ebook that is linked to my profile here on youtube. You can check it out. It has helped me alot so I hope this helps you too🥰

    I have oily skin, and my skin really reacts well to benzoyl peroxyde and salicilyc acid. They helped me getting rid of acne. Even if this takes so much time but it torally worth it. Hydration also helped my skin alot into regulating sebum production.

      @@dailydogsoftheinternet1321 yes, but I use them separatly because they shouldn't be mixed. I use benzoyl peroxyde every other night ( 3 times a week ) , and I use salicylic acid every morning ( and every night that where I don't use venzoyl peroxyde) + ( I have a toner that contains salycilic acid ) .

    have oily skin since I know myself,but around high school it got really worse,oily face with huge pores,greedy shine on forehead,not to mention trouble with my scalp,lack of hair growth. Ive been using vital pro products for three years for face and scalp-helped me a lot,but had to stop coz they were expensive plus my skin got immune to it,now I'm on Eveline ultra purifying wash gel and Eveline facial wash gel that can be used as scrub and mask. they are doing wonders for me

    Great video! How do u think of oil cleansing for oily skin? I’ve heard it could be actually better to not use an oil and stick with micellar.
    Or does it work for some?..

    Hyaluronic acid has done so much for my face. But only 100 % HA in gel form is the best. Any cream that just 'contains' HA haven't come near the pure stuff.
    Thanks for the tips, Dr! 🙏🌷

    Please do a video on treating oily dehydrated skin. It's so frustrating because what helps one issue makes the other worse. Creamy cleansers prevent dehydration but they're not cleansing enough and lead to clogged pores. I can't use an exfoliant either because you're meant to avoid actives. So how do I cleanse my oily skin?

    Thank you 🙏🏾 great advice. I am incorporating many of these steps for my oily skin routine and it’s working. But I definitely would like to incorporate the la roche posay 50+ spf and the a few of the face therapy products. Great job explaining each products purpose and your akin care routine. This is very helpful. Any suggestions on products best for getting rid of hyperpigmentation from acne scars?

    I've been suffering from the following;
    Tan face, acne, clogged pores around the cheek, pimples dark spots.
    I tried lots of products but I just went from bad to worse😢
    My skin is both oily and sensitive. Please what products can help? Should I get these ones you mentioned?

    Thank you for this educational video. I really like that you incorporate all kinds of skin tones and types into your videos. Although I don’t have black skin, I’m really interested in learning about other skin types as well and how different kind of products are received by different kinds of skin colors and types.
    I do have a combination skin and really sensitive and acne prone as well. I used to think i had oily skin, but after trying so many different kind of products, I finally found the products that work for me and don’t make me oily anymore. Just a little in the T-zone and dryer around my cheeks and next to my nose. I have been using the products from Esse for about 2 years now and it really calmed my skin down. I still have acne, but not as severe as it used to be. I also prefer using products that are great for sensitive skin(like the Esse sensitive cleaner & moisturizer) but still affective for my combination and acne prone skin.
    But I would really like to know; maybe you could use this topic in a next video: how to clear acne scars and redness without retinol. (I tried Differin before but it was way too harsh for my super reactive/sensitive skin, it was so painful). Hope you can take that into account:)
    Thank you and keep going! 🤗☀️
