  • A lot of people have asked me how to trade on D2JSP. I did my best to make a basic guide video on how to Buy & Sell Items on D2JSP. It is also a very good tool for price checking your items.
    If there is anything I missed or if you have any tips of your own let me know in the comments below.
    If you want a further in-depth guide on anything let me know as well!

    Nice overview for the new users.
    One thing I would say for new people is to avoid other new people when trading. Especially with high value items. When a scam occurs on this site (either sending fg and other party not giving item or giving item and not receiving fg), there's a high chance you won't receive either the fg or item back and the account that scammed will be locked. Jsp does not refund items or fg.
    That being said, once your account gets a bit older and you rack up a 2,000+ forum gold with a decent amount of posts (1k+), you shouldn't have any issues trading in here.
    Also, 2/3 "rule" is just etiquette to avoid nonsense when trading (i.e. nobody going first and just blowing up in-game chat arguing). Many many people want fast trades so they can actually play the game.
    Any questions, feel free to reply (2007 user here).

    Hello Indie. Thank you for the content. If you could make a video with the whole process it would be nice for people who have never actually traded in d2. Ty

    So one thing I was hoping this video would address is timing. What if both users aren’t online at the same time? Both in d2jsp and the game. For example, I pm’d someone requesting a trade based on a for sale post, but he was last online 10 hours ago. Do I send FG now, and wait for him to reply? Do I do it in game? I’m a casual too so I don’t log in on the site or the game every hour. How do we coordinate a meetup up for the trade is more or less what I’m getting at.

      If he posted on D2JSP to start, he should make the game and you join it. Once you are both in the game you say your D2JSP username and what you are trading. Once both say that you can send the FG. Who goes first in regards to giving FG or giving at item depends on the 2/3 rule I mentioned in the video. Most FG, Oldest Account, Most Posts.

    would be cool if they blocked trading for first 2 days of ladder on jsp with gold

  • @georgea2835

    The 2/3rds thing is a rule of thumb right? I couldn't find it anywhere on the FAQs.

    • @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo
      @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know if it's posted in D2JSP, so it may be just known among long time D2JSP users. Someone posted this and I think it's a rule of thumb as you mentioned.
      just a honor system
      who have 2 of 3 won't go first
      Posts, join date and FG number
      High value trades = mediator
      low value trades = 2/3 rules
      quick trades = whatever

    • @johnjohn40100
      @johnjohn40100 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's an implied rule. You don't have to follow it, but widely used. For bigger transactions, you can use a mediator.

    If my char is on europe server, and lets say sellier is ok NA. Can i somehow join NA server to buy his item?

    • @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo
      @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can. Just have to be on the same server to trade. Easiest is to add as a friend and click join game regardless of server. If you don't want to add them as a friend just join whatever server they are on and join the same game. If on PC: Battle.net client, next to the Play button. Theres an icon you can click to change region. Console I'm not sure.

    • @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo
      @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CorvaxDK You would have to ask them to see what server they are on. or just add them as a friend and u can join them without knowing their server.

    Is the FG real world money? Or how does it work?

    • @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo
      @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Forum gold can be purchased for real money on the site if u have no items to trade for it. I think its like $100 for 3000 fg or something like that.

    All this is good but traderie takes all this none sense out of the equation…and for all the hate the Auction House got in D3 it was a good concept gone bad.

    • @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo
      @IndieProgressPlaysDiablo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah a lot of people like Traderie too. I agree, personally I thought the D3 in game auction house was great. I think it got hacked and people were able to swap the bid/buyout prices. Being that it was real money at the time, I think Blizzard had some lawsuits from players who got cheated and they took it down. Unfortunate.
