Don't have many games with such great itemization and economy system. Storage management, trading, assessing value etc is all one big game itself.

I have found both Templars Might and Tyraels might, 2x HoZ this season, and I have never in the history of D2 had a Shako drop...

Where is a good listing of items that have high trade value, that newer people wouldn't really know the item had that value, and trash them. For example an eth sacred targe with max resists. I didn't know how valuable that was until my more seasoned friend traded it for a fortune.

Oh first lol, hey llama could you do some guides with builds on what you think are the best builds for each aspect of Project Diablo?, for example, best build for key farming (since no teleport por nihilatak for example), best build for ubers (still smiter?), best build for solo maps?, best setting for group map, etc.

@@trevbolt5863 You say?, I have a SP paladin +20 skills and the holy bolt and holy nova damage is awfull, it can be good for healing or am I missing something to make him deal decent damage?, don't think I could kill ubers with it either way
@@agushex if ur talking about single player it might take a while to get the required runes but a dreamer can farm vanilla + map content (not the fastest tho) and probably do ubers, for mfing from 0 gear holy bolt is probably one of the better starters since hammers can feel clunky
perhaps you can make good use of charge to farm keys on ur pala as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if sorc still is the #1 character to farm keys for ubers with

How to trade is your title. I feel you spoke more about value then the how.
What is the best way to trade? Open games? Discord? Project website? Because all 3 seem to have different values
Seems until the website gets an update, which they are apparently working on, using the discord trade channels has been working fine enough for me. Just make sure to use the correct format (it’s in the pinned messages). And you can also use the search bar to find items you’re looking for.
Browsing games and trading is the best way currently in my opinion. Once the site gets back up then using that can be helpful to browse a bit more detailed stuff
@@MrLlamaSC im new to multiplayer and tbh browsing through games like that seems very convoluded and not an efficient way to find what you need. Maybe ppl are just used to it from old bnet?
How do you handle lowballers who try to shamelessly rip you off?
@MrLlamaSC Imo it plays one of the greatest role in valuing your things apart from what you put together is, that you have to have a huge lexical knowledge of what alternatives do certain builds have in an item slot, and what your item means to certain builds you most likely also want the fcr/fhr/ias tables in your memory or at least have an idea about it (for example a cast crafted 2druid skills amulet would worth way more with 18FCR compated to 17FCR).
lama, what would you say Tgods or Tstroke is worth? Do you use infinity on your merc or do you not need it because you aren’t using lightning fury? I really wish the trading was as nice as it is I. Pod.. I feel like it’s so much harder to trade in pd2.. it’s like it was back in the bnet days..

How would you value runes in PD2 Mr Llama?
Maybe in relation to wss or each other?
Its often hard to value piles of runes in bigger trades.
Sorry for the ignorance here, but I always have such a hard time wrapping my head around rune values. "Vex is worth .75."..... Of what?

I just started plain ol D2 again to get pumped for D2R. It’s really hard to just get started on any trade value at all. Bots take all the good stuff before you can even get your mouse over. It’s not what it use to be. Wish I had the time to grind runs like the old days.

wouldn't a ohm for 2 vex be a fair deal though? when would you not want to cube your runes up then if ever? if 2 vex are worth more then 1 ohm. or like 2 Sur would be worth a Ber? but 1 Ber is worth more then 1 Jah? would someone actually trade a ber for 4 ohm even though ber is more desirable?
When I played this game 15 years ago everyone wanted to trade for a SOJ I was able to trade for more than 40 Sojs. That was the currency for basically any item. I havnt played in a long time except for the beta. Are sojs still considered the currency for anything?
ye, got me a Ber for Jah last week. i think we were both really looking for it, BUT i got several people looking for a jah and willing to give a Ber (path of d2)

What can you trade a bunch of perfect gems for? I have so many and I don't know what to do with them
The fun thing is that 1 week before PD2 started, I found 4 Jah rune in the same week in plugy. (my personal best week for high runes). I still didn't dropped something higher than Ist in PD2 since the release even tho i didn't really play in the first week.

I sold a Light GC toady for Ist. I added an um but it was like you say, the guy really want to complete his charm inv ;-)
But making a trade game instead of a private mf run game is probably best way imho.
You know what would make a cool video, I would like it anyway. Take a new character and give it 5 mid runes and 1 high rune and maybe a sweet base eth armor. Than set a goal, without playing the game or bringing in more gear you need to get to 700mf in gear, or you need to get a whole inventory of GC's for that character, or Tal's set.
The idea would be that your starting gear is not worth your end gear, so you need to trade up and hustle. You could go one step further and set a time limit, like 4 hours or even 4 days. You could cut out all the wasted time that comes with training and just clip in the actual trades.
This would show other players how to trade in real time and give your audience a better idea of item values and how they change through a season.
We can call it trading speedrun!!
i'm confused about ber though, like i found and SOJ near perfect and the trade site says ber from most other players, but if say it in chat people say its too high *shrug*

Great vid dude but how the fck is a Shako worth a Jah? I've found 4shako and 0 Jah during my 15 years playing the game. Note I haven't been playing every day...Are the drop rates different in pd2? How can one have chams and jahs only 2weeks in? Obviously it's a rhetorical question but still..

It really bugs me that there you can cube runes up but not down. It would really streamline the value of runes. I understand why certain runes are worth more because of usage, but it just seems really silly that a ber is worth twice what a zod rune is when zod is literally something like 100x a rarer drop.
I think that’s where runewords messed up rune values. For example as llama said, ber can be used to make so many great runewords. But on its own, ber isn’t used for many items just as a socket-able for either CB% or DR% outside of maybe a COA. So the devs maybe thought it’s not as useful as what a zod would be that can make any item especially ethereal useful and useable by making them indestructible, so we need to make zod super rare. But then the only good runeword IMO to use zod Is BOTD. So the community isn’t really looking for Zods as much as they are Bers. Idk, maybe I’m wrong but that’s what comes to mind.
@@pmartin5917 You aren't wrong and as I stated earlier, I get why the values are what they are. I just think its silly not to include a way to break runes down into lower runes. Even moreso because they included the ability to cube runes together to make higher runes.
I actually manually do this in SP, just simply because I wouldn't otherwise ever be able to realistically make any of the end game runewords if I didn't.

that part about how easy is to found shako... i've runed back in the 2007, for my friend, his account on bot for a whole two days. shako? nope, never. anything decent? nope, never :D even when i played by hand for many times on hell, never shako :D
So be glad others find it often, which drives the price down.

Why does the 20+ year old original D2 have a far superior lobby UI? You can see all the games on one page?? You can actually see the game description on the first click without waiting seconds before the game clears your selection and rotates the game list for some unholy reason??? Would you kindly make a video about -perspective? theres literally no legitimately good information available about what it is and what it does. Which is mindblowing that in 20 years no one bothered to explain it in any real detail.
Perspective just changes your viewpoint of the game to make it seem more realistic or 3-dimensional.

With perspective mode enabled, he can see the torch in act1 touching the cart. As he moves to the right, you can see the actual distance the torch is away from the cart. This would normally not be visible without perspective mode enabled. Personally, I do not like this view in the game.

A +1 to skill with a *49 to HP GC easly goes for HR its considered almost perfect roll. (It's GG Grand Charms for frenzy barbs. Now when I say HR obviously I'm not talking about jab or ber.
