I’m due any day with my second baby (first son). We’ve lost 4 babies between my firstborn and now. I feel like I’ve been pregnant for years trying to have this one. We lost a son at 24 weeks back in 2018 and then 3 miscarriages after that. Last year around this time I decided that 2022 would be the year I finally brought my son earthside (always knew I was meant to have a son), and so I took your Epically Aligned course and decided I was going to manifest a healthy baby boy by the end of 2022. I’m due on December 30th and I truly believe Epically Aligned had a lot to do with it. Having your birth vlog come out just as I’m experiencing signs of impending labor feels serendipitous. Thank you for sharing. Hoping mine goes quicker after a couple horrible labors I’ve had! But just so thankful our son will finally be here soon. So happy for you, Brennan and Orion too ❤️

I just wanna say, I us my baby boy auagust 5th. I had a really scary birth and wasn’t coherent for any hours after birth. When I finally could look at my phone, I saw that you had your baby as well, and your birth plans had changed just like mine. It helped me not feel alone. Thankful our baby boys are here 💜💜

This vlog is important for ither parents to see. A lot of people think they have total control over their birth plan and then when things don't go the way they planned they dont handle it well. You did fabulous. You completely went with the flow. I'm glad it all worked out so well for you. Congratulations on the healthy baby.
i’ve just had my two baby twins and i must say, 43 hours of labour! i cant believe u had to go through all that, you were so amazing. i had about the same experience as you, my cervix just refused to dialate! i was only in 32 hours of labour, wow mama congratulations of your baby boy u did so great and can i just say your bump is gorgeous, it is so pretty:) YOU ROCk! 🎉congratulations!

@@KathrinZenkinaOfficial this is my 3rd bambino, my first was ok - 17hours unmedicated, my 2nd an induced labour, which was an hour and a half from first contraction to birth, and oh my lord I thought I was going to die. No time for pain relief. Then I almost did. I Haemorrhaged and lost far too much blood. Praying this time for a calm controlled labour 😣 xx

Wow. I’ve been wanting to watch this vlog post for a verrrry long time now and find it completely meant to be that I waited until now to finally watch it. For one, I’ve followed your journey for a long time, well before the pregnancy, and for two, I am about to enter my third trimester of my second pregnancy and am planning a home birth myself. At this point in my own journey, I am starting to mentally and physically prepare again for the wild ride of labor and delivery and this video was so close to my heart it brought tears to my eyes. I have many year’s experience as a labor and delivery nurse, had my own first birth go way out of my “plan”, and am now transitioning to my second birth but my first home birth. Every emotion you expressed in this video I felt to my core from every perspective possible with all my different back grounds. It’s also a reminder of how insanely powerful we are as birthing women and how much we surrender to what will be. Soooo reminiscent of manifesting as a whole to me. All in all, this video was so heartwarming and beautiful and I appreciated all the rawness and felt a sincere connection as I can sit here picturing or manifesting, my own next journey. What an amazing video, I also labored at home for days, but my experience wasn’t as magical as yours. I slowly progressed and would go to the hospital each morning and get check with minimal progress. So I totally understand the feeling of disappointment. My birth story is very similar to yours. Labor at home for days, epidural and sleep, then push and born quickly. I also had a son. Great work on bringing your son into the world. ❤

20 weeks pregnant with my first. I cried. This was so beautiful. I have no words . . 😭 Just what I needed to watch. I’m so afraid of medication affecting my birth, but it was such a relief to watch everything turn out fine in the end for you and your baby. I *can* have a positive birth . .

Your labor/birth was amazing!! I'm so glad that you gave yourself some grace to be able to switch plans and to know when it was time to. Sometimes the epidural is exactly the thing needed to allow your body to do what it needs while also allowing you (mentally) to get exactly what you needed- rest! My first was very similar in size, 9lb7oz 23 1/2 in. Such a workout!! Congratulations to you and your family!!

Amazing! These long labors are no joke. I’ve had them with all my babies(3) and it can be so discouraging at points where you feel like you can’t keep going. Your husband is also amazing and so sweet.

I had such a similar birth in March this year. Laboured at home for 35 hours until baby got stuck at 8cm. I remember being checked and being told I hadn’t dialated at all in 10 hours. I also had about 4 hours of forced exercises hoping it would encourage me to dilate, it didn’t and that pain was indescribable. I feel your pain so deeply. I am sobbing. You did amazing. What a journey birth is but it all leads us to ultimate gift of our children. I also had a son. Love to you and your family, thank you for sharing ❤

At the end of the day, as hard of a call as it was, and after beating myself up…. It dawned on me that everything was a preference. all that TRULY matters is having a safe and healthy baby. Congratulations Katherine. Your birthing story is exactly the same as mine. I had a whole team at home and labored 42hours and only dilated to 5c. I was heartbroken when I had to go to the hospital bc I was so exhausted.
NO WAY!!!! You know EXACTLY then!! It is so psychically challenging, but when it doesn’t go how you scripted it, the mental challenge is massive. Yet you do get through it, and life continues. Powerful to have this reframe - that sometimes it doesn’t go our way at AND yet…. Maybe that just was what the universe intended for us 💗🙏🏻

Men are in the profession because they put in time and work to be a labor and delivery doctor. If you watched the whole video you see mostly women surrounding her and coaching her through until she had to go to the hospital. Her husband was there helping and HER HUSBAND is allowed to touch her in any way she needs or wants in that time. It’s not a sin it’s not in the Bible. Stop trying to say things are in the Bible when it isn’t. You are gonna have female doctors and midwives and doulas and you are gonna have male doctors as well. Nothing is wrong with that at all & it’s who she’s comfortable with.

OMG Katherin this was SO PRECIOUS!! This might sound weird but I felt those contractions!! I have had 6 babies lol...phantom labor pains haha. I teared up seeing Brennan holding him for the first time. Yall are so blessed and incredible thanks for sharing this with us so much love to you and your beautiful family!!!
Ok- this is crazy but I had the same exact birth experience. My son is 3 months to the day, but my labor for him was 40 hours too. I had a midwife, but after so many hours, no sleep and stalled transition, I went to get an epidural to sleep. After sleeping for a few hours he came out so fast! The falling to sleep with the epidural was the best feeling I’d ever experienced. Hugs to you for getting through such a long labor… you’re not alone!!!
