  • So you'll now be able to hear the difference of how the combination of the airbox with the factory velocity stacks, and the K&N filter smooths the airflow through the carbs.

Just found myself an oem air box so hoping I can get the carbs dialed in. Any more tips about needle sizing??

Well with carb tuning several factors will have to be considered. Do you run a stock or modified exhaust, stock or high flow air filter, and what altitude you primarily ride at. Also, do you run straight gas, or does it have some ethanol in it? Base engine functions are critical too. Valve clearances, compression, ignition, and carb cleanliness come to mind. A good starting point is a Sigma Jet Kit: www.ebay.com/itm/254522335999?epid=1155287254&hash=item3b42b6a2ff:g:BMAAAOSwkXBePbRy But I have to add a word of caution if your tempted (Do Not Drill the slides). That might be good for a race bike but would avoid for a street ridden machine, and no way to undo that besides buying another set of slides $$$.

@@xHondaHack awesome I ended up just cleaning the carbs and she’s idling without the choke now. Pretty pumped I think the airbox helped out a ton as well

@@Nilpocvert Great to hear that and hope it runs well when out riding too.
