God bless you my Southern brother! I'm heading up to Boston to replace my 1986 fzx700 fazer that I had in the early 90s when I lived in San Francisco and probably put twenty five thousand miles on running through the Vineyards and eating great food and staying at nice bed and breakfast places. I came back to New York and sold that particular bottle, and just found a new one so I'm heading up to Boston to grab it for $1,300 and you just totally solve the problem for me. But it is absolutely the middle of the night almost just about daylight here and I'll get back to you about those pipes. Thank you for the video man I appreciate it brother and I will talk to you about different pipes for that because the ones that I bought and the ones that are on this one are completely different. peace and love man
One thing that I have found with mine, even afater a carb rebuild, is it does not like corn gas. Try putting pure gas in it and it runs much better. The is even an iPhone app call Puer gas to help you find stations that carry it,
Great video, I have fazer just like it and am looking to fix a problem with the fuel lines. But I can't find a clear picture of what it's supposed to look like and mine blew off when I try to start it this spring.
Jonathan Davis : Hey John thanks for watching. I no longer have my Fazer. I kept it for 2 years and really enjoyed it but in the end I decided to move on to another bike and sold mine for about what I paid for it. As to your problem, the fueling system on this bike was it's downfall in my opinion. Yamaha tried something different with using marine carbs because they worked well to keep the fuel mixture moving in a almost straight line. The problem is these carbs are very finiky and then add to fact that the fuel pump along with the other areas of the system would develop issues and it becomes a headache every spring when it comes time to ride. We won't even get started on the crappy gas we have today. Use ethanol free gas if you have it in your area and once you get the mechanical parts working that'll cut down on future problems. Good luck and ride safe.
Still my favorite bike!

What type of oil and coolant do u use?
Esta bolha de farol está acabando com a beleza da moto
Horribly ugly fairing!!! and not original.
GTS Driver fairing was screwed up by previous owner. It was an original option in 86-87. Very few still exist today.
Didn`t know that, that faring was not promoted in Norway at any time as i can remember, just the naked bike.
I had the same fairing on mine. It came from Yamaha.
