They sneaked Scott Sterling in there, thinking we wouldn't notice... 🤣
They had to because his The Man, The Myth, The Legend!
More SCOTT STERLING!
I didn't,.... never heard the name before, let alone I would know what sport or activity he is known for.
@@freudsigmund72 he's the greatest goalkeeper ever. You'll find his phenomenal saves if you look for "Scott Sterling penalty shootout"
He also played some volleyball.
@@freudsigmund72 He's a comedian. His skits involve him playing different sports, and getting increasingly injured while somehow succeeding.
Lol, that was Usain Bolt, the guy said the name oddly.
I thought they looked similar! hahah
AI videos gonna AI video.
Nothing gets past you does it
I think the narration is being done by speech synthesis software and maybe there was a typo in the script.
@@bobby_c07AI translate gunna AI translate (for no reason).
Ultimate Frisbee, from what I remember, is like Rugby, but you can't move when you possess the frisbee. It's a game of throwing the frisbee to some ridiculous spot where no one can catch it, and them someone does.
From what I remember it was a competitive sport for the not so competitive. No referee, mixed, that's why I didn't took much interest allthough it seemed interesting techniqually. It was a very young sport back then, created from the ground up. Maybe it's more compettive decades later.
Us UK footy fans are no doubt relieved to know that in football, you win a point for scoring a goal!!
The biggest wave is in Portugal indeed. In Nazaré beach.
Fact 1:This gurl is pretty.
Fact 2 :Scott Sterling is the GOAT.
MKBHD does competitive frisbee. On a serious level.
I’ll have a look
@@NoProtocol Sport is called "Ultimate" now. Formerly Ultimate Frisbee.
Apparently quite hardcore, drama, injuries, the works.
heh, was gonna mention this too :D
At 4:35 and 7:38 the surfers are probably just off the coast of Nazare (a little ways north of Lisbon). When the waves get massive there, that's pretty much what they look like.
You see videos of this and even in movies. One time I went down to Big Sur to watch the big wave surfing, I had no idea the waves were like half mile off shore lol.
Thanks for recommending Cypress Hill, I had forgotten just how legendary they are.
Yess!
that was Dirk Nowitzki in a charity football match i believe xD
the people jamming into the car reminds me of the train assistants in Tokyo who pack you into the cars like sardines, always trying to get ONE MORE!
I'm loving your reactions
3:36 that look, i felt that.
The frisbee game is called ultimate. I used to play it decades ago.
Lol you nearly dropped an F-Bomb about 50 seconds in 😂
i just found this channel. looks like i'll be here all night catching up.
Your smile makes me smile every time. Very beautiful.
Workout song: It's A Long Way To The Top (if you want to RocknRoll) by AC/DC...also great for getting speed tickets from driving too fast (or, so i heard lol).
Kaytranada, cool Dj from Canada. Kind of RnB with electronic beat underneath. Highly energic. Highly recomend for workouts
No Protocol Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
I was once on a ultimate frisbee world cup on accident. It was just on a school sport field in Heidelberg, Germany.
Always great commentary
Thanks Joe!
wow some real skill in that video , it was great thank you 😀
You need to be introduced to the man, the myth, the legend Scott Sterling!
What sport?
@@NoProtocol
All of them.
@@NoProtocol: The Legendary Scott Sterling . . . . .
th-cam.com/video/8F9jXYOH2c0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uMSZbyX4Fq29Cywy
@@NoProtocolLiterally just type Scott Sterling into TH-cam search. There are two videos by Studio C with tens of millions of views. Have fun lol
6:38 I know there's a competitive frisbee game called "Ultimate", that I played in school many years ago. Couldn't tell you if that's what they're playing here though
"Last Ride Of The Day, Nightwish" It keeps you pulse rate high...
Many American school kids played a game called Ultimate Frisbee as part of their physical education program in the public school system. It’s a competitive team game.
The "competitive Frisbee" you speak of is called Ultimate Frisbee. It got quite big in the 80s, and is still around today, albeit as more of a cult sport. I enjoyed it as a kid, as it involved lots of running.
Scott Sterling! (Studio C Classic.) In that vein, you should also check out their tongue-twister skits. Ultimate Frisbee is fun. Definitely worth checking out further.
The original keeper skit is where it's at!
I didn't like the hockey goal against Nashville. I'm from Nashville. 😁 There were some amazing moves and tricks in these clips. The tennis clips and some of the soccer clips were great. Nice video, if short. Would have been nice to get more baseball clips; the first baseman doing the split to catch the short throw had me cringing; hope he didn't turn up with a groin injury the next day. One piece of music for working out might be "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock, from the 80s.
World record in big wave surfing is from Praia do Norte, Nazaré, Portugal by a German, Sebastian Steudner and it was 26,21 meter high.
Once every four years is pretty nice, Olympic skateboarding is my only jam now :D Both pool and street stuff really.
Oooooooh, I love Cake!
Not sure if it's been recommended or featured but Kimbra, female artist from Kiwi land, an astounding talent.
2:33 I thought she was going to give her skating partner a hurricánrana. lol
LMAO 😂
Football/soccer best goals highlights would be a great watch 👍.
Love the sports reactions! You should check out a basketball player named Jason Williams, also known as White Chocolate. One of the most entertaining players to watch. He used to practice dribbling and passing while wearing oven mitts and ankle weights around his wrists, and apparently he could even control the way the ball's seams would land so his teammates wouldn't need to readjust.
The Frisbee competitive game is called Ultimate its fun to play but you run your butt off
I tend to go the metal route for working out, so I would go with things with a riff that motivates like Troops Of Doom by Sepultura or Psychosocial by Slipknot. If I was just jogging, I would go for something a lot more relaxing like Chega De Saudade by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Professional tag/chess boxing/slapping/forklift olympics/handball
"Professional tag" seems like it's full of parkour enthusiasts.
Ultimate frisbee. Kind of like football, because you have end zones and your score by posses the ball (or frisbee) in the end zone. But you can’t run with it. You have to pass. If it lands on the ground, then the other team gets to take possession of it from where it landed.
As a kid my mum told us about a family friend who ended up in hospital seriously injured from doing a bellyflop from a high diving board. Never found out if it was actually true or if she was trying to stop us doing it but I never saw him again either.
Gonna Fly Now - Bill Conti (Rocky theme song)
Golden Swagger - Dominic Glover, Gary Crockett, and Jay Glover (I'm not big on dancing but this song never fails to motivate me.)
Hollywood Swinging - Kool and the Gang
Groove is in the Heart - Deee Lite
Dare - Gorillaz
I am not entirely sure If these exact surfing clips came from there, but some of the highest waves ever ridden were in Nazaré, Portugal.
"Some of Them" - Life-like Remix by Amtrac. Bangin' tune to work out to - especially if you're running.
Channel recommendation: Extra History
..video suggestion Sengoku Jidai....Japan samurai civil war
For me, while working out, music is something to keep the mind occupied. Long stretches repetitive motion aren't always that engaging. That said, having music with beats with frequencies near natural rhythms like running stride or heart beat can be good to anchor situational focus, or coax yourself into said rhythms. I think I prefer mellow melodies for endurance work, but perhaps a little more aggressive for exercises pushing strength and power.
I knew someone who kept themselves in exceptional fitness for a fairly demanding job. At the time, they recommended a number of tracks by "Boards of Canada" for their jogs. They have a unique style. It's easier to say try a few songs than describe it well, but maybe instrumental/electronic/ambient? Or maybe "a chill cousin of Aphex Twin" might put you in the same ballpark.
have you watched any Karate Combat? could be a fun reaction. As a karateka who enjoys mma in occasion, it kinda slaps. Idk which video would be best though, a knockouts one, or a best of?
Dude! I always listen to Cypress Hill when exercising. Today. It was today I had it banging. Few hours ago. Solid workout. Fucked the iron. Lowrider - Cypress Hill
0:50 - Hmmm... did you almost say a bad word? LOL
Ultimate Frisbee, as i recall Marques Brownlee plays it.
Just after watching your last video (about size comparisons) I saw Dr. Becky's latest Night Sky News video where she mentioned what they think is the brightest super massive black hole out there, with an accretion disc 7 light years across, and accreting mass equivalent to our sun - on a daily basis!!!!!
Any way, back on topic - there are quite a few thinsg where I can look and saw, "ok, that involves skill," but have no caring for the sport/activity involved and some where it just seems to involve being a candidate for the world's first brain donor 😁
A book about extreme sports (I will admit I have not read this) might be Rollerball by William Harrison (from which the film starring James Caan was made)
For music ... my brain is failing me, so no homework for you today! 😂
Keep it up 👍!!
My current workout music is Takashi Ohmama's 'Fix Release' from Gundam: The Witch from Mercury on loop. I'm just weird I guess.
The surfing was from Nazere Portugal.
Song suggestions : Time don‘t wait - Dizzy Wright // The hop - A Tribe called quest // Grown up - Danny Brown
1:05 i think i speak for all No Protocol viewers - we don't jump into rocky waters for fun. 😂
The Big wave was nazare, portugal
Yup, the biggest wave is in Nazaré, Portugal
You could check out Curling. Not supper exciting or action packed but any sport you can play while simultaneously smoking a cigarette and holding a beer has my respect.
I workout out to a lot of Juice Wrld songs. Not because its hyping u up but u can get lost in it so the workout becomes much more second nature to u imo
Maybe for a future video for you: The Beauty of Football - Greatest Moments
Have you watched Sepak Tekraw? Amazing sport.
the mention of world records, and the guy that you compared to a gazelle, suddenly had me thinking... could you imagine practicing, being in training, and you break the world record for whatever it is you do? but then in competition, when it counts, you can't repeat the performance? that would be HORRIBLE!
Have a look at the Irish sport of Hurling. It's supposed to be the fastest team game in the world. It can also be fairly dangerous.
The surf clip is from portugal...Big wave hub.
All that football and we never saw the GOAT Lionel Messi's insane skills
Wave is in Nazare Portugal :)
Song suggestion for you relating to sports, actually it is more the music video that is related: Dire Straits - Walk of Life
I love your video’s also your pretty ❤ 10/10
Fun
The clarity in your enunciation makes the narration accessible and easy to follow. It's a small detail that contributes to the overall viewer experience.
"These football skills are meant to entertain, bedazzle and amuse". What?! 😆
i’d love to see u react to ‘the beauty of football’ for another sport reaction :)
Ok, I’ll put it on my list (:
4:34 & 7:40 Almost certain that's Nazaré in Portugal.
you could watch some competitive rock climbing, Janja Garnbret is the most decorated climber if i remember right.
For winning at Ultimate Frisbee you win a plate, no silly. Looked like Usain bolt to me.
I assume the pit stop was at the British Grand Prix as Pierre Gasly is French.
Pierre Jean-Jacques Gasly is a French racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Alpine.
I'd give Curling a watch if I were you!
Have you watched field lacrosse? NCAA and PLL would be the best places to find high level highlights.
pretty sure the wave is in Portugal, yeah
If you want some entertaining ping-pong, arguably the most interresting guy to check out is J.O. Waldner. One of the goats, proably top2 player to ever have played the game, if not the best.
Arm wrestling would be a good niche sport to react to. It has been gaining a lot of popularity recently
Death diving was poorly explained, they do crazy belly first plunges but they move their arms and legs out stretched into the water first to absorb the impact so they aren't actually belly flops. they are diving with erratic style. lol
Sumo is my favorite sport
Marques Browlee plays competitive Frisbee.
McLaren F1 racing holds the record now with 1.8 seconds
surfed wave Portugal - Nazaré
Lol at the AI voice not knowing how to say Usain Bolt.
Edit: and the record for fastest pit stop in Formula 1 was actually broken last year by McLaren, who managed to clock in a blistering 1.80 second pit stop.
This girl's brainier then every politician we've ever had. And has much better smile. 😍
Frisian national sport: fierljeppen
Worth a watch
that first video was scott sterling, best soccer goaler ever, the man, the myth, the legend, you really should check him out even without making a reaction video,.
Rage Against the Machine is good for workouts. Or Atari Teenage Riot if you wanna go real crazy.
That way was in nazare Portugal
Bog snorkeling.
Sitting on and riding a wing suited person is far out ...
Nice reaction
I highly recommend reacting to Cheese rolling in England , it's kind of a sport ...
It's crazy !
I think both surfers were in Portugal 👍
React to Baseball best playoff moments, try to find a more recent one since there’s some crazy moments from the past couple years
That was Usain Bolt
I reccomend MotoGP stuff... there's a video about Valentino Rossi on youtube called How This One Man Changed An Entire Sport ( Valentino Rossi Documentary)
MotoGP ! and listen to: Nick Devon & Darko Milosevic - Pictures From The Past (Original Mix)
