I think I like this version better than the original. But I really like the Cthulhu Mythos.

Love the tutorial, really helpful. But can I be pedantic about one thing. The creatures are not Pronounced Show-goths. They are spelled with a double G. That means they are pronounced Shog-goths.

question though. I csn only holf 7 cards so if choose to can i discard a Relic card like a clue card or do I have to play the Relic
All the cultists appear to be dwarves. What are the odds that this many dwarves living in such a small area?
Their populations may seem small, but that is because they hide their numbers in the tunnels underground. Also pretty sure the dwarves are putting this in their grudge book.
When you close a gate, do you only gain full sanity if youre completely insane? What if you have 1 sanity token left?
looks like this one's pretty easy to teach and plays a lot faster than most board heavy mythos-themed games - is that about right?

Game play yes strategy no. Iv lost 8 times from 2 to 4 players. I made house rules to help win
How does one handle Relic cards in hand? I can only have 7 at a time so can I just discard Relic cards I do not need or do I have to play them if I do not want them in hand?
If you end up with more than 7 cards in hand, you have to immediately discard or play some until you reach 7 again - your choice!
@@RollforCrit ah nice so they are not required to be played. I can juat discard them as regular clue cards correct?
That should be the case! Check page 7 of the rulebook for clarification.

If you seal a gate while insane and move to the hospital or church, you are restored to whatever your starting sanity was. Hope this helps.
