I REALLY struggled to fit the 3 qx120 in the diagonal panel and was truly considering returning the fans. This video was INCREDIBLY helpful! Thanks for including the entire process of how you fit it in
@@TechCheckUK Ive been saving up to get some more link fans and its a real shame they dont fit in the bottom without modifications! Would you mind explaining how you went about trimming the case to fit the qx140s? Did you have to dismantle the case beforehand, or were you able to reach in with an edge grinder?
Hi mate i didn't dismantle anything - i used a little tape and there was room to do without even taking back panel off. Just ensure to clean up before mobo install and metal shards so you don't get any issues. A file or dremmel will work fine and it took 5 mins to do.
Another stunning build mate!! The black builds with the ProArt hardware always blow my mind. The 4080S for a gaming build is an absolutely solid choice. Mine runs everything in 4K flawlessly.
Awesome build mate, Paul seems like a great guy, not bad for a first PC lol. First time seeing a build in that H6, really like the offset rear intake fans, gives it a different look altogether. Left a like as always mate, keep up the awesome videos 👍
Thanks Matt glad u enjoyed as it took me hours to edit lol - I love the H6 and pleased with end result and I know Paul was happy 😊 thank you as always mate 👍
mate that is a great cpu and GPU combination and a excellent choice for case. keep up the good work and maybe create higher end PCs like this more often 😁
I was considering getting this case, but I do want to use the Corsair ICUE Link fans in the build like you, but I am not certain about taking a piece of the case out in order for the fans to fit in it, it is a pity that Nzxt don't have something done to the case so at you can fit any fans you want to fit in it, so I have consider getting a different case.
I am building a pc very similar to this, the only difference is mine is all white instead of black lol only thing I’m missing now is the gpu and storage drive!
great work, beautiful build! one question tho - did u flashed newest version of bios off camera before putting in ryzen7 7800x3d or u skipped this part and managed to turn on pc without doing it and updating it later on via motherboard site?
All worked out of box no issue - but I did then update after I did the video to latest bios just to get best stability and latest settings etc - appreciate you watching and taking time to comment 😀 good luck 👍
@ @ love it! thank you so much! finally someone gave me a clear answer on what to do in this exact situation :)) hope it will work just fine because im building my pc tomorrow and its my first time with ryzen so i wasnt quite sure on what to do
Thank you so much for making this video! I'm doing nearly this same build in white only difference is I have a 4070 ti super Msi Expert card, 990 pro 2 1tb's and 7700x due to the fact 7800x3d and 9800x3d prices are ridiculous right now. This will be my first build just like his only part I'm fearing is the power supply cables and management. You taught me so much today like to skip the pcie 5 slot, Would've never known. Cant wait for my pc to look as awesome as his with all my overpriced Corsair gear lol. I had one question, will I need to buy the Corsair wiring kit or will the wires in the boxes it comes with be enough?
You won't need any additional cables if you bought the AIO and triple fan kits. Glad it could help and I appreciate you taking time to comment and watch the video- good luck on your build 👍
I'm likely to do my first build very soon, I have chosen all the components but after watching the video and seeing you have installed two ssd's. I'm now wondering if going for one ssd it's all fine. That's what my initial idea is, install only one 1TB ssd, is it/would it be better to install a second one, specially for the OS as you mentioned on the video? thanks
Personally I always like to have 2 as then I can keep the system running as fast as possible and have a seperate games drive. Good luck on the build mate 👍
Excellent video! Cheers from the Caribbean! I have one question, I know that you have previously answered in some detail, but can you explain a little bit more of the cut off for the bottom fans, was it easy? What tools are needed? Was it the horizontal part at the back of the case? Or the little vertical divider between the chambers? I want to use this same setup, but I'm worried about how to do that adaptation, Many thanks!
Thanks mate and welcome from the UK! In order to fit the bottom fans there is a lip on the left side wall where it meets the back lip as you put the fans into the cut out. Nothing to be touched on the fans just about 2cm long and 3mm in depth - you can remove with a dremel. It's not difficult if u have the correct tool. Also the side fans are a very tight fit but will go just ensure you route your cables 1st and have them attached. Regards and thanks 4 watching 👀 😀 good luck 👍
Damn, I have to cut the bottom for the 140 corsair fans? That really sucks! Iwas hoping to get this for my first build with the corsair link stuff, but maybe not anymore. I love how flush the 140s sit at the base and the 120s on the side, this is a bummer for me.
It was nothing major mate it was literally a lip I had to cut off around 2cms so the cable connection could attach to the fans other than that the 3 side intakes where tight but no cutting needed. Looks very clean and if you didn't use the corsair fans and had the new nzxt ones it would still look as nice 👍 thanks 4 watching and taking time to comment.
@@TechCheckUKBro please answer with wath did you Cut it out did you use a dremel ? And did you also Cut a Little Bit from the back side Not just the lip
Yes I used a dremel and it was simply around 2cm on tge bottom left side lip where cables pushed into the fan - just enough room for clearance that's all - it took 5 mins.
Great video. Question, if you don't use the second M.2 drive should you remove the protective blue material from it prior to starting up or just leave it on? Thank you
I just finished almost exact build except I had an h9 flow but with nzxt fans & AIO. Made the mistake using nzxt peripheral because their software is a bit meh.
Appreciate you watching mate and I love the H9 also I did a build a few weeks ago and was mense. This case is slightly smaller and was great also. Yeah the nzxt software isn't the best but icue can be a bit hit and miss too tbh. Thanks again 👍
That's a nice matx case but tbh I'm not a big fan sorry - build quality is not that good. Only benefit is form factor and portability. I get it's personal preference and no problem but I personally buy most of my parts. I don't get them for free pal!
Hope you enjoy the build everyone! What do you think? I love this case!
Big thanks to paul 🙏
thx to your vid I was able to fit my crosair fans cuz i was in panic :)
@Lieven_ no problem mate glad it helped 👍
Thank you so much Gareth!! Amazing experience loving the gaming experience!!! If anyone wants a build Gareth is your Man!
Appreciate it mate 👌 👍

I wish you wouldve shown where the fans are connected. Nice build btw
I have other builds on the channel showing every icue connection mate try the h9 build 👍

Yeah would work with other fans that don't have side connectors but requires modifications if you wanted the latest corsair fans - thanks for watching
No u don't need to cut it it got room for on the other side and it goes out to the back
one of my aio screw hole doesnt match that much wirh the case hole, is it ok to leave this single hole unscrewed?
Mate if your happy with it and it don't bother you plus it's fully supported via all the other screws 1 or 2 missing is not going to hurt it mate.
How much modifying was needed to fit the two bottom 140 fans .. looking into building something like this

My first build ive gone for a RTX 4070 Ti super with a Ryzen 9 7850x3d
Wow nice - is it a 7800x3d or 7950x3d
@ its a 7950x3d as the 7800x3d is out of stock everywhere right now
Yeah it's mad and 2nd hand there above retail too
Do you have footage from the part you cut out? I bought the same set of fans for my h6 flow
I don't mate I did it in the workshop - simple if you have a dremmel with cutting bit 😉
Awesome!
Thanks 👌 😊

I think it was 2700 gbp obviously cheaper now 🙄

Steelseries tkl7 atm with a corsair m65 mouse

Update u don't need to cut the bottom out on the right side you have more space to rout cables instead of pulling it from the left side
No you don't it was the exact same we tried and we also didn't want pressure on the connector. But you do you mate
@TechCheckUK false cuz I did the same fans and had space to use the cable tru the right
