hi i have a twins i gave birth them here in Philippines, im married to a british citizen. then plan to get our twins a british passport. my question is, its same process?
Hi, You have to put in an application for your twins and they have to be in the UK when you do so. It depends on whether your husband is British by birth or by naturalisation. If your husband is British by birth, your twins will be British automatically. Therefore you can apply for British passport. However, if your husband is British by another means, you will have to apply for your twins to be British citizens first. Once that has been approved then you can apply for their first British passport. Congratulations on your twins! Hi, You would need to go to the government website and get their phone number and call them. Don’t apply for the first passport until they have explained everything to you then you can follow the updated procedure on the government website. I am rooting for you!
Hi, This depends on your circumstances. The right supporting documents you should send will be indicated on the online portal after you must have completed the application. In my case, they were birth certificates of my child and husband. I sent original certificates. I would suggest that you contact the government about your missing birth certificate and find out whether they would accept photocopies if you have any. I wish you the best.
i am trying to apply for my baby passport and they ask many documents lik3 grandparents marriage certificate and all original and i do not have any of them
I was not asked those questions when I filled the application. If the naturalisation of your baby is through baby’s grandparents then it is understandable why they would want that. I suggest you ask baby’s grandparents to ask for another birth certificate. You can ask for birth records in the UK. Contact your local authority in the county of birth and they could assist you. You can also contact the government through their website for further advice on what to do. I wish you the best!

I had my baby 2020 when i was having pre settled status but now i have settled status, can i apply for the first passport is my baby qualified
Hi,
You would need to go to the government website and get their phone number and call them. Don’t apply for the first passport until they have explained everything to you then you can follow the updated procedure on the government website.
I am rooting for you!
Do i have to send my birth certificate too? I have my daughters but cannot find mine. I am applying for my daughters first passport
Hi,
This depends on your circumstances.
@@cynthiaacademy thanks for the swift response. Wishing you the best. Take care
@@lordsubzero4131 It’s my pleasure to do so.
When I want to fill in the details for my friend to confirm identity. It just says service unavailable atm. Is this normal.
I didn’t experience that, even when I put in the wrong email address. Perhaps they are working on the website. Try again later.
Did you manage to sort this ? As I'm having the same problem
All
Good thanks
i am trying to apply for my baby passport and they ask many documents lik3 grandparents marriage certificate and all original and i do not have any of them
I was not asked those questions when I filled the application.
I would like to know what happened with that application @rrffband8042
If father is British citizens by naturalisation
And baby born abroad,
How long it takes to get British passport
And wt is process?
Please guide
I think it is best to call the government number on their website. Any advise I give you might be outdated, polices change all the time.
I wish you the best.
