I realized my NFC was not enabled during id check...could that be the reason for this problem.....although the id check was completed successfully

Try googling the “gov.uk”, get on the web and click on the crown 👑 as shown in this video. If it still asks for visa application number, report the issue to the eVisa technical team. Call them tomorrow. @@RahulNair-iu7rt Try reporting it tomorrow if the suggestion I made doesn’t work. What did you use to do your application? With an ILR, you are meant to make an NTL application and sometimes they complete the eVisa application on your behalf so that all you need to do is access the eVisa by going to the view and prove your immigration status. @@oweifavictoria7400 If it is reporting her to scan a BRP then should have selected that what she wants to scan is her passport and not BRP on the UK immigration ID check app. I will be publishing some videos on how to create your eVisa with a passport. I am using the word create or apply because it do not the same as linking your passport. All the best

I totally understand your frustration with the process. It is hard.

Your UKVI account. The name you used to create the UKVI account is what they are referring to. If you accept the name on the UK ID check app, click “continue” and then select the “yes” option and move to the next page to solve this problem. If it is not working, then report this problem. @@aniketpanjwani4917 Did you complete the BRP application? There is nothing you can do at this moment but wait for a response from them. It takes from a minute to weeks to get the “View your eVisa” email. If it takes longer, contact them and report your problem. Kindly share how long it took when it comes. All the best

No. Now in getting the share code, there's a 3rd option (in addition to Right to Rent and Work), there's PROVE YOUR RESIDENCY STATUS share code option. That is what you should enter as "permit number"
