I live on my own in London. I have a few family members who have been unhelpful, and i wasn't sure of the process. I was busy with work and studying, so I left it for years thinking it would be a dreadful process. Finally, when I decided to do it, I searched online, and your videos came up. I followed your instructions, and today, after 6 weeks from my first application, my passport was delivered. Naturalisation and passport applications have been so smooth because of your videos. Your videos have been incredibly helpful, I have followed them from the application of naturalisation up to the passport application. I got a notification today saying my passport is currently been processed!! This has been a goal of mine for years and I can't wait for my passport to arrive!! 🤗 💃🏽
@@saaanbbb62 I applied for my British Citizenship on October 8th 2021 and went to the UKVCAS appointment on December 21st 2021 to confirm my identity and do my finger print. I got an email on January 11th 2022 saying my application has been approved. In the letter it says to complete the process I have to attend a citizenship ceremony which I need to book by calling my local council. I called them the same day (11th Jan) but they said they couldn’t see my certificate on their system and they can’t book it without it so I should call back the next day (12th Jan) which I did. They told me they were booked up the whole month of Feb so I booked my ceremony for March 24th 2022. I attended the ceremony and collected my certificate. I applied for my passport on March 28th 2022, I got someone to confirm my identity via post and sent them the form and my documents next day tracked on April 7th 2022. It was delivered April 8th 2022 but their system only confirmed they received it on April 24th 2022. I got a update on the tracking page on April 27th saying my application is being processed but I’m still waiting for it to say application approved and passport printed and sent. Hope this helped! Update: my application was approved on July 1st and my passport was printed on July 4th, it arrived on July 5th and I’m so happy I finally have it. I am still waiting to receive my documents which should arrived in less than 2 weeks.

Your videos have been very helpful, it was Quite easy getting a British Passport because I have Two British parents, my application for my British passport was approved within 5 minutes, the lady who interviewed me was very nice and down to earth, I hade my interview 2 days ago
Congrats on getting your passport. I started my passport application on the 22nd of March and had my interview today. My passport was approved and sent out within a couple of hours, should receive it in the post in a few days. This is my first passport, an adult one (I'm 38) and have always been a British citizen, as have many generations of my family before me. Applying online worked out better than expected, glad I didn't go down the paper route.

@@marilove4095 It wasn't anything difficult, the person just asked questions about how to get into town and about the local area, something that someone local should be able to answer. They never even asked about the person who countersigned my application, but I would imagine all interviews are slightly different. It's nothing to worry about really, just be truthful and honest in your answers and you'll be fine. If they ask about where you live and you know quite a bit about it, that'll be good, as you'll be able to give loads of detail. Best of luck.

Did use your maiden name for all your applications and changed it to your married name while applying for your first passport? Is still not update the office that they are received my document . I got proof from Royal mail they are delivered to passport office . Passport office is signed they are received but my account is still not showing . Somebody was same situation?
Sometimes they have delays in updating the status online. Maybe because there are loads of applications at the moment. I suggest to just wait and keep checking it.
Hi Please somebody can help me ? HM passport office is still not updated they received my documents. I spoked with them and he said to me need to wait 2 more days. Now i got txt from HM passport office they are not received my documents but if I’m already sent them . I have a proof they are received and signed. I’m very confused 😐

Hello. Unfortunately, there is no way of checking the status of citizenship application, which is completely different with passport application. It’s a waiting game. Hope you get the decision soon. 🤞

I wasn’t given a time limit to send the documents, but the quicker you do it, the quicker you can get your passport! I sent on the same day as my ceremony (29/08) and have just received notification this morning that my passport is printed and ready to be shipped.

I was asking because I want to apply on 20th of September (my friend will verify me on the same day), but then I won't be able to submit the docs on the same day because I will be travelling from the 20th of September evening until the 29th (so, I will need to travel with the passport that I need to send). So, I will be able to send the documents only on the 30th. So, I'm curious if there is a time limit between the moment you are verified and the time they receive the documents. Thank you

Is still not update the office that they are received my document . I got proof from Royal mail they are delivered to passport office . Passport office is signed they are received but my account is still not showing . Somebody was same situation?
Sometimes they have delays in updating the status online. Maybe because there are loads of applications at the moment. I suggest to just wait and keep checking it.

HM passport office is still not updated they received my documents. I spoked with them and he said to me need to wait 2 more days. Now i got txt from HM passport office they are not received my documents but if I’m already sent them . I have a proof they are received and signed. I’m very confused 😐

Hello. Unfortunately, there is no way of checking the status of citizenship application, which is completely different with passport application. It’s a waiting game. Hope you get the decision soon. 🤞

Hi, why for some ppl they ask to have an interview? My sister in law who is British(born in England) needed to have an interview for her passport. For some yes for some no interview

Hello. I waited 5 weeks from approval to invitation letter. I think this depends on your local council.

I wasn’t given a time limit to send the documents, but the quicker you do it, the quicker you can get your passport! I sent on the same day as my ceremony (29/08) and have just received notification this morning that my passport is printed and ready to be shipped.

I was asking because I want to apply on 20th of September (my friend will verify me on the same day), but then I won't be able to submit the docs on the same day because I will be travelling from the 20th of September evening until the 29th (so, I will need to travel with the passport that I need to send). So, I will be able to send the documents only on the 30th. So, I'm curious if there is a time limit between the moment you are verified and the time they receive the documents. Thank you
