Hello, there is no restriction about folding the certificate.There is one restriction, never laminate your certificate. This is a certificate for lifetime, I personally wouldn’t prefer to fold it.

I sent the documents via Next Day Guaranteed recorded delivery with tracking number. I tracked the next day morning and it was confirmed received. However, they posted three days after that documents have been received
Yes, it’s always wise to use a postal service with a tracking option for your peace of mind.

@@Westernlights Thanks. And I hope I don't get one. I was born in the UK and my passport expired back in 1996. I had to apply for a new one. I just need to let the Passport Office know who can vouch for me, then if that's ok, I can send off the required documents and hopefully everything should be ok.
Hello thank you for your video. I submitted my online application and posted the document by special delivery last Wednesday 16/05 and I did not received any email from HM that my documents received. 9 days ago.
Hi, check the tracking number on your postal receipt. If it shows delivered then you don’t need to worry. They might take time to send you email.

Hi there, what questions they ask from the person who confirm your identity? Moreover, if that person is professional but currently not working can be your identity checker?
They ask the person to verify your name,date of birth,photo,address,your relation with that person and for how long you know the person.
The person needs to provide his/her British passport no. and other professional details.
If Passport Officer refuse the person,they will tell you to provide another person’s details who can verify your identity.They will give you chance to choose someone else.

Hello, once you start filling up the online form it asks about your current nationality and passport. Depending on your answer it guides you what documents you need. Alternatively ,it’s better you ask any solicitor about it. Application procedure and fees might be different for spouse of EEA national and spouse of British Citizen.
Hi if my son was born in the UK and has a birth certificate proving so would he still need the neutralisation certificate? Since he is a British citizen by birth it doesn't seem to make sense.
@@culturedsenpai8233Hello,when one of the parents has British citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain the child becomes British citizen by birth and can apply for British passport with birth certificate. So, he doesn’t need naturalisation certificate.

Hello dear,they basically check if you are the genuine person who made the application.Your answers should match the information you already provided such as your name, birth date,current address,old addresses,profession or details of your parents.You should also know the details of your referral person.If you were not born here,they might ask about your entry date,citizenship ceremony details.Good luck for the interview.

Hi, you need to pass the life in the UK test before you can apply for your Indefinite Leave to Remain in UK. When you apply for British Citizenship you will need the pass report again. And it is not required during UK passport application.

Hello, thanks for watching the video. It took 7 days, HM passport office received my documents on 1st December and they approved my passport application on 7th December. I received my passport by post within 2 days from their approval.

Hi, you should apply for ‘Indefinite Leave to Remain’ if you have already completed 10 years/ 5 years in the UK. After receiving your Indefinite Leave to Remain you should wait for 1 year and then apply for Naturalisation Certificate.

how do i do it if my passport expired over 10 years ago
Hello, as far as I know you might need to make a new application rather than renewing as your passport is expired over 10 years and provide a proof that you are a British Citizen. When you start filling up your application form online it guides you what to do next depending on your answer.
