  • Hello and welcome
In this episode I crack on with installing the LH full sill and getting everything welded up. I also rebuild the front brakes and polybush the hockeysticks and panhard rod.
Not a small project by any means but progress is being made and my customer is delighted.
    Enjoy
    Richard

Don’t ever stop doing the ‘seal’ gag. PMSL every time.

I have a good following because of the seal arf arf noises. I am not sure who is more odd? me or them 👍🍻

Looking good! - the owner should be very happy when he gets it back.

Always a nice video with a beer.
I have the same foot well holes and this video confirmed that they are staying as is for now.

I'm doing my Disco inner wings and they'll be getting seam sealed and epoxy primer , for a hopefully long life.

just prime and ideally paint before seam seal. The factory seam sealed bare steel, hence why they always seem to rot out under the seam seal

Not cheap, but SuperPro does polybush body mounts for the range rover classic that are a lot more flexible than the after market ones available.

Good job.! I need to find a welder that can do tin, if I turn mine to the lowest setting it still blows holes through! Frikin tin work..I loath working with it. ☹️

adjust the wire speed down, work in small sections and let it cool properly. my welder could weld tinfoil I reckon

Hey! Been loving watching your videos for a while now. About to take this on myself on my 1995 LWB. Wondering what products you typically use for seam sealing after welds and paint/primer cover coverage, and what the usual order of application would be. Products will be different over here in Canada but hopefully I can find equivalent.

      Thank you for following.
      1. Rust converter on the bare steel first if needed
      2. 2k primer
      3. seam seal, I use various products which I mention in the videos.
      4. 2k top coat
Drop me an email and I might be able to answer more specific questions

My 1978 Series F is 100 x better condition than this. Are they really worth the effort? Australian assembled, rover upgrades inlet manifold, carby, ignition and cooling fans....It does miss like a bastard but haven't yet checked fuel and carb.
