    Very good thank you! I use Vactan as a rust converter. It seems to do exactly the same thing... it's effective too. In fact, the whole of my 110's chassis was painted with it!!

    Those bloody arms, used to carry 8 tonnes of them From DDF(later Stokes forgings) to Jag at Coventry!!!

    I remember when I was driving wagons, I delivered in Par, Cornwall and reloaded in the same place, the load was going to Milford Haven area is wales, as the crow flies I think it was about 60 miles but obviously I had to come all the way back up to cross the bridges... I think it took me about 6 or 7 hours driving!

    Love it - thanks! I'm a recent convert to rust converters (see what I did there? :-)) and I think they're brilliant. I use Fertan - pretty expensive but seems to do the job.

    The hard shoulder is a pretty scary place. Remember pouring water in the rad of my 405 on the m40. Really not a nice place to be

    Like you I have a press but mine is only a 12 ton and it makes you change your knickers sometimes when it lets go parp....

      I am just about to use this one, www.rust.co.uk/product/cat/salt-removing-products-14, I will update on my impressions. In the past I have degreased and then zinc painted .

    Hi, do you rust convert mating surfaces? Such as the ends of the axle casing?

      they are clean, have a gasket sealant and then assembled. not sure they need any more
