Yeah me and like 5 other of my childhood friends played this everyday after school for hours, this game was far ahead of it's time.... Truly one of the greatest ever
It's great to see you guys say your age like that, it meant you must have been in the prime teenage days when this first dropped. You're all true 90s kids aka mid 80s babies. What made a true 90s baby was being born in between 90-93 and having a older sibling that's at least 4-5 yrs older. I was lucky, I'm 26 but had a big brother who was 13 yrs old when this dropped, he's 34 right now. All we did was play this game. I remember when his friends slept over once and brought 2 extra controllers. Me an my brother lost our shit once the screen split into 4 quadrants lol. The sountrack is enough nostalgia for me. In the early 2000s, my friends an I would still be playing this once in a while.
1:08 Two decades later and I'm still seeing new stuff in this game. Love how you open the door, throw a knife, close it, wait for them to finish firing impotently into the door, open door again, throw another knife, close the door, and lather, rinse repeat until they're all dead and having used no ammo at that. Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.
IKR, it is just so amazing when you think you've mastered a game after playing it for 22 years and then you see a video like this and realize you still have SO MUCH to learn!

Your knife throwing is nothing short of art. I watched your video and thought, "Yeah seems easy enough". An hour later I'm still knocking their hats off with the throwing knives. Would be impressive if it was intentional.
There's actually a trick for throwing them accurately, try to throw them off-center, a bit to the left. If you use the manual aim and want to hit the head, aim a bit lower than their right (your left) shoulder.
+Jamerous Gilliam If I use the guns as the KF7, Klobb or DD44, unlimited guards will come since they heard it. Using throwing knives and silenced pistols stops that from happening. :P Firing the KF7 in bursts also prevents this, but I still prefer to use knives and PP7s.
This game brings back good memories. After I used the watch magnet to take the key to unlock the jail cell door, and karate chop the guard I took his ak-47 rifle and reentered the jail cell, fired the rifle to attract the attention of guards. Then waited until they came within range and shot them, thus getting more ammo.
I just did the same except it's the same n64 from my childhood. My father passed away in 2007 and his saves are still here, it's pretty wild to look back on this. you can use the kf7 soviet but you just shoot one bullet per time and they dont re spawn, as soon as u shoot more than one bullet per click then u will get guards coming non stop until u shot enough of them with one bullet per click.
I found the easiest way to deal with Bunker 2 is make your way around the level as quick as possible and kill as many guards as you can. you'll find that eventually there will be no guards spawning whatsoever, it's a great tactic on the harder difficulties.... best thing to do is head straight for the long room with the body armour, then leg it to the other end of the room close the door and try and take the guards out with headshots through the window. with some practice you can become untouchable on that level. it also helps to memorize where the cameras are and the machine guns on the roof
